    I went to see Lauren for a cut and color and she was wonderful. She did a great consultation at the beginning to see what I really wanted and double checked the color before anything was mixed or done. The color turned out gorgeous and her skill for the cut was beautiful. During the wash, she did a deep condition and used a gloss prior to drying which made my hair look so glossy and healthy (seriously ask for it) She really is talented and efficient. I did mention right away how Iā€™ve been stressed with work and just wanted to be quiet for a bit and she was so understanding of it, I got to read my book while she did her magic with no awkward moments of silence. I was yawning at the end by how good I felt just getting to be quiet while being taken care of. At the end, even though I said how I had no plans for the night, she took the time to curl and style the hair which turned out really pretty, earning a compliment at the grocery store. She was wonderful and I certainly look forward to my next visit ā˜ŗļø

    I made the mistake of going to a walk-in shop and the girl butchered my hair, which I had worked eight months to get back to a healthy shape and desired length. I happened to drive by Trends on the Fourth of July, not expecting anyone to be there, and found Cat and her two lovely daughters cutting and styling away! Cat took my mess of a mop and gave it a cute cut to hide the chop job I walked in with. I have never had a curly cut, but I am beyond happy with how it turned out and Iā€™ve noticed my natural curls are way more defined now. This is the first stylist Ive gone to who didnt cut tons of length off my ends, and that is important to me. I have been to see Cat 4-5 times and she has done a great job of correcting the bad cut as it grows out. Not only is she a great stylist, but she and the rest of the staff at Trends are super friendly and kind, very welcoming. Thank you!!

    ā€œI donā€™t normally post reviews because I stay pretty busy with my family, but I felt like this person deserved to have some kudos. Cat has been my hair rescuer for many years and she is always honest and up front about what needs to be done with my hair. I am glad for her input and knowledge of hair care products because some of the more expensive products arenā€™t always the best for my hair and she understands exactly what I want and my hair needs.Cat has also cut my sonā€™s curly hair for the last 5 years. She knows just how to layer and thin his hair in just the right places so it lays effortlessly perfect. Cat is a phenomenal hair stylist and I recommend her to everyone! She also is very personable with all of her clients. Over the years, every time I have a hair appointment, my husband walks in the door and tells me how beautiful my hair looks which is the best compliment a woman can receive ~ but really the compliment goes to Cat!Trends Salon is very professional, friendly and everyone who works there has a smile on their face and is happy to help everyone.

    I met Cat when she did my daughterā€™s hair for her wedding. Me, being her Mom has naturally curly hair with issues. I asked Cat if she cuts wet or dry, she replied DRY. I immediately made an appointment with her and never looked back. Itā€™s been 3 years and I wouldnā€™t go to anyone else. All of her beautiful girls have naturally curly hair so I knew she knew as a Hairdresser and Mom what to do with my hair. As I have entered into a new and different phase of life my hair has changed. She has been there to see how curl pattern is different and texture changes. Also, if I leave unsure of what Iā€™ve asked her to do, I feel comfortable calling and going back and she fixes whatever Iā€™m unhappy with and thatā€™s only happened once. You wonā€™t be disappointed, sheā€™s the best and wants you to be 100% happy.

    Great experience with Cat! Not only is she an excellent hairdresser, but a genuine sweetheart as well. I stopped in and received not only a a great cut, but some of her homemade sourdough and fresh eggs from her chickens. Amazing!

    My hair is very curly, full and has always had a tendency to be extremely frizzy. Iā€™ve been to several different stylists. What I didnā€™t realize is that itā€™s ALL about the stylist using a better technique for cutting my frizzy curly hair. I have finally found Cat who has a certain technique for cutting my hair. Iā€™ve never been so happy with her cuts and color. Catā€™s curly cuts are amazing. She has done my hair for several years and I will not go to anyone else. She taught me how to style it and how to keep on top of the frizzies. Sheā€™s recommended great products for my particular hair and Iā€™ve learned I donā€™t need expensive products. I would not go to anyone other than Cat.

    Cat has been doing my hair for fifteen years now. She is very prideful in her work and has always been very attentive to detail. She has always went above and beyond when it comes to her work. I highly recommend her as a stylist. I honestly cant say enough good things about her. Book your appointment with her and I promise that you will love her just as much as I do!

    Iā€™ve been seeing Cat for almost 5 years now and am IN LOVE with her work!!! I recently started getting highlights and am amazed by how beautiful the blonde is. My hair feels so soft too with no damage at all. I know I can always trust Cat with my hair, I canā€™t imagine going to anyone else!!!

    Love this place. I love the calm vibe and I got a great cut from Katie! I have lived in a few big cities and this is one of the best cuts Iā€™ve ever had. She knew how to remove weight off my thick hair but maintained my length and height I need at the crown for someone my age. My husband loved my look and couldnā€™t believe how good my cut and color was. Never going anywhere else.

    Oh what a tangled mess I can weave with my extraordinarily curly hairā€¦but when Cat cuts it, no matter how hard I try, it almost always looks great.Maybe once or twice in my life, strangers complimented my hair (we wonā€™t even mention the ā€œconstructiveā€ criticism from family members).But, then Cat came to the rescue. Iā€™ve lost count of the number of people (mostly women, but a couple of flirtatious men, as well) whoā€™ve told me how great they think my hair is. (As for those in my family who once had negative things to say, they say nothing at allā€¦which is tantamount to approval from them.)The only downside is having had to wait so long to find someone who truly understands my hair.     Cat knew what she was doing, and it showed!! I have thick curly hair that is difficult to manage, and I rarely trust anyone with it. Cat took time to explain to me what she was doing, and layered it exactly how I wanted. My curls are so springy and healthy now; Im a repeat customer at this point lol! Also the salon is so cute and well maintained

    I have gone to the same stylist for 12+ years but I desperately needed a haircut for work and they fit me in last minute. Sandy was amazing and did a truly great job on my hair. Iā€™m super particular about my hair and she nailed it and even improved upon the style. 10/10 recommend the salon!!!

    Have always had a great hair experience with Katie L. and have been seeing her every 6 weeks for years now. Knows hair, coloring, and gives my baby fine hair a fantastic cut. Knows which products your hair needs even some you can find at Walmart or a drug store. The facility itself is clean and pleasant and youā€™re not in a long row of chairs; there are generally four chairs to a section and it gives you a little sense of privacy. Love Katie and Trends!!

    Place was amazing! Took someone there for valentines day and was VERY pleased. Have gotten my hair cut there as well and Angela B. did an amazing job on both! She is such a great person to sit with and get stuff done. Person I took got a haircut and eyebrows waxed, both of which turned out great! 10/10 would recommend! And recommend Angela to everyone!     Wow! Im 58 and I just got the best haircut of my life! SANDY was my stylist and SHE was AMAZING! I went in with long hair which I wanted about 8 inches cut off of into a complicated style with layers. I got exactly what I wanted, but certainly wasnt expecting to really get it lol. I was just hoping to get close to what I asked for. My expectations were far surpassed! I will definitely stick with Sandy and Trends Salon and Spa which was really a nice place! Probably the nicest salon Ive ever been in and yet the price was very reasonable. VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER!

    I love, love Ashley Cruz! She took her time with my hair to fix an earlier color (by another stylist). She made sure she understood what I was asking for and gave me a beautiful cut and perfect color! She is my stylist for life! The salon staff is pleasant and its a great atmosphere.     Update: I went back and had Breyanna, Catsā€™s daughter! She was incredible and really gave me exactly what I wanted. I got a reverse balayage and it took her no time to do my whole head- I have a lot of hair. Excellent skill and customer service! I love this place.I had Cat as my stylist and she was absolutely amazing. I have never been happier with a cut. She even gave me some tips on what to use on my hair and how. I will definitely be going back.

    I only trust Erin at Trends with my 5 year old bi-racial daughters curly hair. Erin is very experienced with different types of curly hair and always does a beautiful job with my daughters hair. (She also is great with straight hair) She is very gentle, patient and fun with my daughter too. The salon is always clean and peaceful. Great location too. We love Trends!

    Cat is the best, BEST at managing and cutting curly hair. Ive been to many stylists who do not know how to cut curly hair. (Like the dreaded I need to straighten your hair before I can cut it.)     Valerie is AMAZING! Best hair cut Ive had in years! The last hair cut I had was hideous, and she totally fixed it.     Cat is A HAIR GURU!!! The last 2 times I got my hair done I was overcharged for a chick to do my hair and no one could even tell it was done nor was it blonde like Id requested!!     Cat Chapron is the best wedding stylist around! We had her come to the beach house, where we were hosting my daughters wedding around noon for a 6pm beach wedding. OMG, she was Phenomenal!!! She styled the 3 bridesmaids, the bride and the mother of the bride, me. Ive never loved my hair more. She did a ponytail, for me, which made my hair look so long and luxurious. My daughter was gorgeous, with her hair half up and half down. And then each of the bridesmaids were breathtaking as well. Thank you Cat! You were a joy to have with us during this truly life changing moment. Much love!

    I have to say I am fascinated with Trends Salon. I am newer to the Pensacola area and I have lived in so many different places (military brat, military wife) and this is by far one of the nicer salons I have been too. I had Nicole Stephenson and she was more than amazing. I typically keep my hair pretty basic and never thought about trying something new. Nicole looked at me for a minute and suggested a new cut/style. I was feeling a little spontaneous so I took her advice. I have NEVER had this many compliments in my life. She made me look beautiful. She took her time, she is great company, and she has definitely earned repeated business from me. I have been referring my friends to her. If your going to Trends, try to get in with Nicole Stephenson!! She is simply fantastic and the salon in gorgeous!!

    There was a cancellation, and it must have been fate. I was first impressed with the professional way in which I was greeted, and offered something to drink. The waiting area is cozy and warm. I felt instantly welcome. I came to try Trends because I had a bad experience with my previous hairstylist. Then...I met Cat! I am beyond pleased, joyous and happy with the results. I cannot begin to express the way I went from sad and upset about my hair to unable to stay away from mirrors, giggling jubilantly and loving how I looked.

    I moved here from Virginia and struggled to find a salon....until I found Trends . Ive been going here for 5yr . Ashley Cruz is my stylist and I love her. Everyone is pleasant from the moment you enter, you are greeted by the front desk staff they are professional and extremely sweet . The salon boosts excellent hair care products as well as Make-up sessions, skin care, massage and nails. One stop shopping for all your beauty needs. I highly recommend Trends Salon.

    I have been going to this place to get my hair cut done for the past 3 months and I really cant find anything to complain about. The staff are are very friendly, and the building is well kept along with that the people cutting the hair know what there doing. Unlike some other places in town. The price is a little above average but is worth every penny. Along with this there is free WiFi and drinks while you wait. If you are looking for a good consistent hair place then this is a great place for that.

    Very nice establishment! Pisces came highly recommended by a friend, and she did an excellent job. My hair is overdue for a touch-up, and Iā€™m still getting compliments to this day! It is pricey, but I have learned the hard way you get what you pay for.

    I had the best experience possible! Since leaving California, 5 years ago I have not been happy with my hair at all . Lene Salvesen is who I like to call the hair doctor. She rescued my hair from a brassy orange color back to the ashy blonde that I wanted . She knows the latest trends by staying current and truly has a gift with color. She was also able to achieve the style I wanted without damaging or cutting off all my hair . I plan to exclusively go to her as long as I live here. Also the salon itself has a calm tropical feel that makes ever trip a pleasure.Thank you for making me feel beautiful again.Heather Hunt

    I dont know where to even begin with how amazing my experience was. I was recommended Trends by somebody because I was having a destination wedding in Pensacola. Jessica was my contact person and she responded to emails the entire way through and touched base with me close to my wedding. Erin was the one that did my hair and make-up. First let me just say that I had NO trial run with Erin. We showed her photos when she got there morning of and she delivered perfectly. It felt like she was just one of the girls helping us get ready. Everything lasted all night and I got soo many compliments on my hair and make up. There is no possible way I would have felt as great as I did on my wedding day if it wasnt for Erin!

    I used Trends for my wedding (hair and makeup for me and all of my bridesmaids and nails for myself). Not only is the work stunning but these girls made us feel like queens. My wedding was chaos and they handled everything with such grace. My makeup held up through hours of crying and my hair stayed beautiful after an outdoor ceremony and reception during a hurricane! We got married September 10th (Irma). I wouldnt trust anyone else with my glamour the way I trust the girls at Trends.

    I went last night to get a biolage! I came in about 6:15 and we were there almost 3 hours! Lene Salvesen did the most amazing job on my hair. I am so picky when it comes to my hair and she took everything I said into consideration while also giving my so many helpful tips. She would not let me leave until I was satisfied with my result and I couldnā€™t be more happier! I will definitely be going back to her!
