The best indicator of whether I received a good hairstyle is when I wake up the following day. And so far I have always woken up and LOVED my hair after Cassandra has cut and styled it. I have the worst hair, cowlicks and curls, and she never fails to make it perfect. And honestly it keeps growing into still perfect until its time for my next cut and style. I think no matter where I live, I will fly back if needed to have Cassandra and LaMarca Beauty make my hair perfect. If you are looking for a beautiful cut and style, this is your salon. :)

Cassandra, the owner and premier stylist at LaMarca Beauty & Co., is an expert colorist that works in partnership with her clients. I began having my hair styled by Cassandra about 8 years ago. I’ve been impressed with her knowledge and ability to connect with my hair needs from the moment that I met her. Cassandra takes time to get to know you and fully understands what my hair challenges and attributes are when I visit. I am so dedicated to having Cassandra style my hair, I drive over an hour to her beautiful salon. Finding the perfect hairstylist is always hard, but I’m convinced that Cassandra is practically perfect in every way!

She is a wonderful listener who knows her craft! Cassandra is truly interested in what I am thinking of when it comes to my hair and can incorporate my wants into an appropriate process for my hair. She’s intelligent and a real joy to be around!

I see Jen, the Botanical Beautician at this location. Her coloring work is absolutely gorgeous. Ive had two balayage treatments done, both with high quality coloring that was safe even during pregnancy and I went over 6months between appointments and the grow out was perfect. Everything she does looks natural, compliments my skin coloring and works with my hair type. I ha e curly hair as well so she was great with styling, cut and care advice for my curls. Shes a great personality to be around as well. Ive referred several people to her already. The space is light, quiet and has great energy. Highly recommend

Cassandra is a true professional. I moved to the area from Miami and have very fine, fragile hair. I brought my old formula with me to share with my new hairstylist. Cassandra immediately offered her cell number and we texted back and forth. I shared pictures before the appointment. When I arrived we went over everything. Shes a super listener! She did a remarkable job and my hair held up perfectly and looked terrific! Additionally, she is a wonderful person as well. Shes kind, considerate and very relatable. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a hairstylist in the St. Augustine area. I really wouldnt go anywhere else!

When I moved to Saint Augustine Beach last year, finding a new hair stylist was one of the biggest challenges. I tried one salon which promptly turned my hair orange but, fortunately, I found Cassandra at LaMarca who was a lifesaver. She corrected my hair to a beautiful, shiny color with highlights and balayage, and she gave me a fantastic cut. Since then, she has continued to work wonders including keratin treatments which my hair definitely needs in this humid weather. On top of being so talented, Cassandra is a wonderful, loving person who makes you feel so welcome and so special. I can also plug CJ as he did a superb blowout for me as well.

I love Cassandra! Shes the only one who knows how to handle my curls, has this Midas touch that makes it lovely golden blonde, shares great practical tips, and truly cares about the person sitting in her chair. She is kind, positive, and has the best sense of humor! A visit to LaMarca Beauty is a treat for the hair and soul. P.S. her partner Cary is packed with cool historical knowledge. Love these two incredible people!

I love LaMarca so much I don’t even live in Florida anymore but go out of my way when I’m back so Cassandra, the owner, can cut my hair. The salon is adorable with wall colors that don’t wash you out (there is nothing more humbling than staring at yourself in the mirror with foils in for hours) and the plants and decor make it super zen. The space is beautiful but I would still go see Cassandra if she were operating out of a port-a-potty. She’s that good y’all. I have thin hair and a lot of it with a weird wave that, if cut incorrectly, causes my hair to flip out at the bottom which I hate. Cassandra cracked the code and layers it perfectly so I don’t even have to style it day to day. My first appointment she took the time to get to know me: my hair, my styling habits, the look I wanted. She always nails the cut and is great at color too. I have brown hair with blonde balayage and she blends like no other. No stripes, no chunks, just perfectly blended color that can grow out with low maintenance literally until I feel like getting it done again. It’s hard to stay away though, she’ll melt your sorrows away with a head massage. I have had nothing but great experiences with LaMarca beauty. I highly recommend this business based on quality of service, and Cassandra is also a real gem of a human.

Cassandra has been doing my hair for years. I started going to her when I lived in St. Augustine and now drive an hour to get my hair done by her. I usually get highlights and I think she does the best job at blending highlights so they look natural. Thank you son much Cass!

We are so happy that we chose LaMarca Beauty to do the hair and makeup for our wedding! Cassandra, CJ, and Carissa were awesome with the trial, and making sure I felt comfortable and confident with the look I wanted. They made it easy for the bridal party to make payments individually and in advance so nothing was needed the day-of. They were fun to work with, did a wonderful job, and allowed every girl to express herself while still going with the look we wanted. The price was amazing for everything that we received. We highly recommend them to anyone who is considering them for their wedding!

Both my husband and I got our haircut with Cassandra and we couldnt be happier! With both of us she patiently took the time to really understand what we want (although hes a guy my husband is very particular with his hair). And with my hair she also closely examined the texture of it (its very wavy) and its growth direction since I cut my hair from shoulder length to short and I we wanted to make sure it wont puff up once cut short. Its now 3 weeks after and were both very happy with our haircuts. Cassandra is very knowledgeable about hair/hair types and will make sure she fully understands what you want. Shes a keeper!

My one & only salon because Cassandra does hair right!!!Not only because she’s my wonderful daughter but because she (& her team) really care about people & the need to look their very best!The salon is so welcoming & comfortable you don’t want to leave. Conversation is very fluid between everyone which makes you feel right at home.The only thing you’ll regret about going there is not having gone in sooner!

I never even knew this salon was there until Jessica moved there. The salon is comfortable and everyone there seems friendly and nice. Jessica always did a great job with my hair and Im happy to say that Ive followed her to LaMarca. Jessica does a great job on my color, she understands exactly what I want and how to get it. If ur looking for a new color or hairstyle, Jessica at LaMarca is the person to see.

Cassandra is wonderful. I have lived in the area for (going on) four years and have had appointments with other salons that nightmares are made of. As soon as I walked in I felt very comfortable and welcome and the cut/highlight/styles she has done for me is top quality work at a very reasonable price. The salon is decorated quite sassy and is exceptionally clean. Displays are not crowded and stuck in every nook and cranny with dust laden products. Ive paid salons in JAX twice as much and have had to walk out midway through my appointment. I have finally found my place. The search is over and I couldnt be happier. I would give ten stars if I could.
