Was on a mini vacation in St Augustine with my wife. She has been trying to get me to get a pedicure with her for years. Finally, I decided to go with her. I looked online, compared reviews and decided on Royal Nails.I spoke to Ethel on the phone and made our appt. I explained to her my toes are not pretty from 30 yrs of construction work. She was very kind and reassuring. When we arrived, she was super friendly and professional. She let me know my toes weren’t as bad as I made them sound. 😅 she went to work and did her magic. It was a wonderful experience. I can only hope I can find a similar place back home. My wife got her pedicure and also her nails done by Thomas, who was thorough and did a great job. We were pleased with everyone that helped us and with our overall experience. They all made our lil vacation from Orlando a lot more relaxing. Wish we could take Ethel home with us. ☺️

Thu was AMAZING!! The service was above & beyond. I would highly recommend coming to this nail salon. We were able to book an appointment very quickly. My husband, received his first pedicure and was very satisfied. I also got my eyebrows waxed, and it was the best job I’ve had in a very long time. We were just visiting, but I’m sad to go!

A part of me feels torn to even post this. I dont want everyone to flock to this place, but I also want them to thrive and gain a lot of business. Here it goes...My wife and I are born and raised St. Augustinians. We had always driven by and wondered about Royal Nails, but never thought to make an advance appointment. (Were very last minute like that.) I hear its very rare to get in on the same day as they are booked up. We called ahead one day and booked our first appointment on our anniversary on June 3rd, since then, weve made consistent appointments for every 2, sometimes 3 weeks with Apple and Thomas. Its a clean establishment with massage chairs and soft music playing. They dont have a thousand people in at a time, so its not loud and distracting. Its a very relaxing environment and theyre always so good to us. Weve been searching for a regular place to get pedicures together for a while, but the closest place we liked was in Jacksonville Beach. Im thankful to have been able to try them out as theyve gained two repeat customers. I highly recommend the Volcano Pedicure Service. If youve read this far, do yourself a favor and make an appointment. Who knows? You may become a repeat customer like we did! When you do go, make sure you leave a review so the next person like you who looks them up can see how great they are too!

I’ve been going to this salon for 8 years now! Thomas has done my nails for prom, everyday, my engagement and soon to be my wedding! I always get dip on my nails and gel on my toes and I have never had my nails last as long as they do from this salon. Their service is amazing, and the relationships you make with the staff are the cherry on top! Definitely consider making Royal nails your nail salon of choice.

Thomas has always been such a pleasure, and the quality of service leaves with me out the door every, single, time, slay. My mani’s & pedi’s always last me beyond the guaranteed time frame, he never disappoints me. I have been a repeating customer for the last year or so and I personally could not be more satisfied with the service and consistency this business has provided me. I’ve been greeted at the door with big smiles & hellos from every employee since the day I first walked in. Not to mention their FANCY massage chairs from HEAVEN, you really can’t beat this tiny, quiet oasis; It truly is a wonderful experience every time I come here, & this is most certainly my home nail bar and Thomas is MY go to guy! Had my first appt at Royal Nails & Spa with Thomas yesterday after not being completely satisfied with my previous nail tech. (She could do great manicures and her hands were a gift from God on the pedicure massages 😂 but she couldn’t even draw a simple design to save her life 🥲) Sooooo…I checked out tons of local reviews and this salon seemed to have the best ones near me. I arrived a little early for my appt and was greeted promptly and seen just as quickly by Thomas. My last gel pedicure was still pretty fresh after 2 weeks but my all white toes were screaming for a design. I have been really wanting a sunflower for quite some time so I explained to Thomas that I needed my nails done but only wanted the flower on my big toes 🌻. Honestly I wasn’t too confident initially as he explained everything he was going to do; not only because I was accustomed to getting color dip and they did theirs a little different here, but also I wasn’t too sure he’d be able to master the design I’d shown him. I was already in the chair though so what did I have to lose?! Well as you can see…he did a FABULOUS job!! He nailed the sunflower 🎯 and my clear dip/gel polish manicure was quick, pain free and looks fabulous! 🙌🏼. The flower is so pretty…I wish I would have actually got a fresh polish so I could wear it longer⏳ and the only test remaining is to see how the grow out looks on my hands 💅🏼. But all in all I am very pleased with the work he did and I look forward to my next appt 👍🏼.

I hadnt found a nail salon in the area that I loved so I decided to try out Royal Nails and Im so happy I did! Mai was able to squeeze me in on a busy morning for a gel manicure and pedicure, french for my manicure and color on my toes. She did an amazing job and was a delight to chat with. Very clean and professional place. Price was fair, $90 for everything. I will definitely be going back soon!

Just wow! I popped in for a quick soak off of a gel manicure but ended up getting a gel manicure from Coco! I was in town for a wedding and thought I should get my nails at least cleaned up but Coco went above and beyond! She was truly a great nail tech! She suggested I get a gel manicure as well and she quickly assisted me and did an awesome job! The total cost was $45 not including tip, which was an amazing deal! When I was talking to Coco she mentioned she was getting ready to go on a vacation, but if she is back in town, I suggest her!! I will definitely be back whenever I am back in St. Augustine! Ive been to this location twice. The first time I loved my nails! I got coffin cut, ombre, and glitter so i paid a good $65 + $5 tip. that weekend three of my nails bent right off with no damage to my regular nail. I didnt even feel them just noticed they were missing.Fast forward a few weeks later: I return for the same shape, skipped the ombre/glitter but got a pedicure. $70 + $10 tipThe pedicure was fast, not very relaxing as it didnt feel like they were taking their time. And i also feel as if the toenail cleaning I couldve done better myself at home.Its one week later and here i am with 4 nails gone, bent right off with no pressure/stress on my nails at all!I never leave reviews, however, I only came to this location because of the great reviews that i seen on Google but I can say my experiences have been less than. So I thought itd be good to share for those looking for a permanent salon..I should mention that I always get the guy, ive never been serviced by either woman there.Thanks for reading.Update: came in for a pedicure recently and it was a much better experience. The guy constantly asked if I was comfortable if the water was too hot, if the rubbing was too hard etc. can’t wait to come back and get my nails done with him in the future. Tommy took time to give her a massage on her hands up to her elbows, and her legs up to her knees. The finished look is amazing, and mom has never been happier with how her nails look! I’ve been coming here for gel manicure/pedicures since I moved here 6 months ago. Thomas has been helping me grow my own nails (so I could move away from tips) and giving me advice on how to make them stronger and take better care of them. I am a very physical person who has been remodeling a house I recently bought and I work with my hands doing various manual labor activities as well as caring for a large family so my nails/hands get a lot of use but it’s important to me that I take care of myself and look good while doing it all. If you’re thinking of coming here, do it! Everyone is kind and courteous. The spa is clean as is their practices and the environment is relaxing. Book an appointment as they are always busy! They do take walk ins but they’re usually so booked they can’t always accept them! Enjoy!

I absolutely love Royal nail salon! I’ve been to many other nail salons around saint Augustine and this is by far the best. Kelly and Mai are incredibly sweet and really great at what they do!
