I had a fabulous experience with Jessica. I called just for a blow out and curls. She was really nice and listened to what I wanted. The blow out was amazing! Highly recommend.The salon has its own parking which was a concern of mine when booking as I’m out of town. Everyone was super friendly and would recommend.Thanks for a great blow out!

Deena does my hair and Heather has cut my husband’s hair for the past several years. It’s always a pleasure to visit as both ladies are personable and care about their clients’ needs. Deena takes her time to get my haircut right and does a great job on my highlights. Her prices are more affordable than other salons too. She’s created a great hometown feel to her salon. Try Deena or Heather and you’ll feel welcomed and look great too!

Spur of the moment haircut. She was able to get me in that day and did an amazing job. I have had bad experiences with salons before, but she went above and beyond my expectations for what I wanted and needed. If I ever need a haircut while in town, I will definitely go here every single time!

Saw recommendation for Mahela Salon on my Next Door App as having great stylists and reasonable prices. They were so right! Went first time the other day with my Pandemic-timespan grown-in grays and came out with EXACTLY what I was going for! Heather artistically created my hair with some highlights, style, color, cut - really LISTENING to what I was wanting done, and then doing it. My boyfriend keeps complementing, which always feels good. ** Thanks Heather!!** Reasonable prices, and its a well-maintained salon, both stylists (one is the owner) were so friendly and wore masks, as did I. That made me feel safer too, since its closer contact in these crazy times, etc. Definitely recommend, theyre my people now!

Ive been searching for a good hair stylist since I moved to St. Augustine. These ladies are awesome. Its a fun, comfortable atmosphere. They go out of their way to take care of you. Bobbie is the BEST hairstylist Ive had in years. My recommendation - Go in, tell her what youre thinking and just let her work her magic! You will never be disappointed!

Ive been here twice to get my haircut with Bobbie and I dont think I will go anywhere else! Everyone is so friendly and down to earth. Bobbie is the best hair stylist Ive found in Saint Augustine. If you have long hair and are afraid of getting a haircut because you dont want them to chop it off, go to Bobbie! She listens to what you want and gives you exactly that. If you want to keep your hair long she takes off the least amount of hair possible. I love my haircut and not only does it still have plenty of length but also added volume and body. I knew right away that Bobbie knew what she was doing and I loved how she offered tips and advice on how to maintain healthy hair. If you havent tried this salon, I highly recommend it!

Heather has magic hands. I dont even show her a photo of how I want my hair cut, I just describe what I want, and she does her thing... beautifully. Digna has a wonderful salon. Thank you both for providing great service, great value, and a wonderful atmosphere.

Mahela’s is a wonderful salon in Saint Augustine. I discovered Digna years ago and not sure why I ever left? I had Heather color, cut and give my hair a Keratin protein treatment. Staff is always sweet and welcoming and I think very talented. Great value too!

Bobbie is outstanding! Been coming to Mahelas for five months and each appointment has been excellent. It was always a chore to have my hair done prior to finding Bobbie. Now I look forward to my hair appointments. The atmosphere is great. Its a fun place to come to and the owner knows every client. I love this place.

When I moved to St Augustine, it was hard to find a salon and stylist that clicked with what I expected, who could work with my hair issues, and who cared about my satisfaction with the final outcome. Digna met all the criteria. When she opened her salon, Mahela, I moved with her. She is a consummate professional and a caring business owner. She always wants the salon clientele to be satisfied and pleased with their individual results, regardless of what service the client wants or who in the salon provides the service.Mahela’s staff members are friendly, conscientious, and strive to give honest opinions to clients who want to change their look or try a new product or treatment. In the end, if the client says “This is what I want” or “Do you think this works for me?” (as I have done), Mahela’s staff aims to deliver a professional, quality result. My hair has changed as I grow older, but Mahela keeps it looking great!Digna and Heather are wonderful at their work with hair, from color to cut to finished results and both have provided quality service to me. Ai Chan, who does everything for nails, is top-notch -- I never had a manicure or pedicure last for more than a few days, at best, before I tried Ai’s expertise. The ladies are pleasant, professional, and treat their clients well.I have been pleased and satisfied for over 10 years with the quality and expertise of the professionals at Mahela Salon. I strongly recommend the business.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a friendly smile. I gave Heather my description of what I wanted allowing her a bit of leeway to use her creativity. Haircut turned out fabulous and she was personable and friendly. Highly recommended! Affordable too!

8/11/20. Moved here in March & was in search of a salon after going to the same stylist in north Jersey for 25 yrs. Heather was recommended to me by my sister-in-law. Went the end of June & Heather fixed everything (after 5 months of color growing out). Highlights & lowlights evened my hair color & I got a great cut also.Ready to make my next appt. & with a mani-pedi this time!

I like Mahela Salon. When they cut my hair, it looks good. I have gone to Digna for about 15 years and would not go anywhere else. I now have manicures and pedicures done on a regular schedule. I have peripheral neuropathy, so it can be hard for me to take care of my nails. Ai does a great job in taking care of my nails and her foot massage is very relaxing. Thanks to Digna and to Mahela for many years of great service!

The day before my wedding my hair dresser canceled on me. Mahelas was the second place i called and right away they said they could help. I wasnt expecting much when i got there that morning, but as soon as i got there they made me feel like family. joking, singing to music, and even dancing a little bit. lol. Bobbie was the one who did my hair, or should i say created a master piece!!! My hair looked AMAZING!!! I knew i wanted an up do, but wasnt sure what would look good. Bobbie experimenter a little, then just started doing stuff, lol....Long story short, Bobbie is an AMAZING hairstylist and their salon offers a warm and welcoming environment....I would recommend Bobbie to any and all brides to be!!!

I am from Philadelphia and chose this salon after a google search. What a wonderful experience. Heather colred and highlighted my hair better than my hoemtown guy. Having extremely curly hair, I didnt want to entrust my locks to just anyone. However, I didnt want to pay 60 plus dollars for a haircut from some fancy-schmancy place either...This salon has great pricing and the ladies that work there all have years of experience.(My stylist mentioned it was her 26th year doing hair!) The thing that I really loved about the experience is that I got the haircut that I ASKED FOR. So many places I have been say oh, yea I know what you mean, I can do that no problem and I end up walking away with something totally different than what I asked them to do. At Mahela, Bobbie cut my hair in less that 15 minutes and it was exactly what I wanted. If you want a professional cut without having to pay extra for all the silly frills of other salons (ie: tribal music, indoor waterfalls, and a 2 second scalp massage with calming oils) then this is a great place with dedicated stylists.
