My trip to Sarasota was made 10 times better after visiting Cynthia at The Nail Lab. I needed a pedicure, and couldn’t find anywhere that could accommodate for a same-day appointment. Cynthia was kind enough to take me, and did a beautiful job on my pedicure.I requested a French tip nail style, and she did an absolutely amazing job. From the precision of her lines, to the great base color match, Cynthia knows what she’s doing. I may have to take another trip to Sarasota, just to make another appointment with her.

Cynthia came over to my mother-in-laws house to do an at home pedicure. My mother recently had a stroke and hasn’t been able to do all the things she loves to do. Cynthia has been my go-to person for dry pedicures, which are hard to find in most cities. Her place is clean and tucked inside a cute salon. She has wonderful positive energy that brightens my day and my feet look 100% better after a visit with her. She also uses a special handcrafted lotion that is great for sensitive skin. Cynthia is a life saver. Her professional and warm presence made this experience the highlight of my week.She brought her equipment and skills right to me in the hospital, receiving inpatient treatment for cancer had my previous gel manicure grown out 4+ weeks but she filled in a fresh manicure, saving my nail bed and paying close attention to detail, my nails have never looked so beautiful & classy. She has a huge selection of OPI colors, I chose Pompeii Pink as my shade for October.The discount she gave me was unbeatable as well, thankfully making it affordable to have a luxury service brought to my door.Although I live far away, she has gained another loyal client.

Cynthia is an absolutely amazing nail tech! I last minute needed someone to come to me for on sight nails for my wedding and she was able to fit me in same day with only a few hours notice. I am very picky with my nails so I was super nervous using someone new but she absolutely blew me away! She was extremely reliable showing up when she said she would & did an AMAZING job on my nails. I absolutely, highly recommend Cynthia Acosta, owner of The Nail Lab! I have known her for nearly a decade and have been a client for many years. Not only is her service and expertise top notch, but also, shes extremelyl careful with ones nails and with the proper procedures to keep her instruments and products safe! The Nail Lab is the only place I patronize for nail services such as restorative manicures and pedicures. Frankly, I dont trust any other salon enough to risk getting any infections or being exposed to unclean and unsafe materials. The conversation is always lovely, the environment comfortable and beautiful, and the fingernails and toenails -- exquisitely and professionally done!

Receiverd the best manicure/fill!!! Since I have had acrylic nails, I have not been able to find a good tech. Ive been too numerous salons looking for a reasonable priced/quality service. Have not find that until now!!!I was hesitant to try Ms. Cynthia due to paying higher than i was used too and I received the best service I have ever had. Cynthia is amazing, professional, clean, and provided superb service. I was trully pampered and relaxed.....I highly recommend her and will be returning.

Cynthia is amazing. I have an excellent nail tech at home and had to find one here and was nervous about it. I use gel and do not want polish scraped off, I want it removed gently, which IS possible, ladies😃 When Cynthia started working on my nails at my first appointment, I watched her like a hawk! Let me tell you…..her process was immaculate, right down to the polish and cuticle oil!! She has this method of doing the top coat where she swoops up from the bottom, midway, the the top down, to meet the middle, then an normally applied last coat, and your nails are SOLID. I feel like I struck gold!! Seek her out, make your appointment and thank me later❣️

Cynthia offers tremendous experience, skill, and care in her work. I had lost the nail off my big toe and hadnt been able to wear open-toe shoes. She reconstructed the nail as if it were the natural nail. What a relief! Her dry pedicure is as relaxing as soaking with outstanding results! Her hours and flexibility work so well for my life. And I know, too, that she is available for mobile services, if I ever need it. Im still surprised and thrilled to look at my bare feet and see something so much prettier than what I had before.

Beyond the usual pampering, I was also looking for someone who was experienced with ingrown nails and how to treat and prevent them. I called Cynthia and she fit me in the same day. Not only did she do an exceptional job, but we had such a great time connecting over our mutual love of travel, our journeys to Sarasota, and our respective mother daughter bonds. Shes professional and personable. Cynthia takes pride in her work and its evident in her time and technique. Its been over a month since I saw her and my feet and toes are still looking and feeling great! Cynthia has been pampering me now for more than 4 years. I am extremely satisfied with her services and now, even more, the cleanliness of her salon and utensils.Recently she added the Dazzle Dry products. My hands are in water a lot and I do my own cleaning so regular polish doesnt last very long - usually 5 days. So far on day 8 my nails look like I just left the salon. Today I had the pleasure of getting a dry pedicure service with Cynthia. I learned the most important benefit of a waterless pedicure is that Im less likely to catch fungus, or any nasty infection, as there is no still water while getting your service and heated towels are used so I felt pampered the whole time. Cynthia not only believes in pretty fingers and toes, but prides herself on great customer service but also goes above and beyond the national beauty standards and guidelines for sanitation and disinfection. In all of the years I have been having my nails done (mani and pedi), I have never come across such a skilled nail technician ever. Cynthia is the most meticulous, precise and professional nail technician who goes the extra mile. Never have I had someone take the time to do a perfect job on my cuticles, gel polish and nail shaping. Everything was cleaner than a hospital from the tools she used, and she even wiped down the chair before doing my pedicure. You will not find anyone as great as Cynthia in all of Sarasota or Manatee counties. She is the absolute best! 5 stars aren’t enough!

I tried a few nail salons around town and found the Nail Lab online. After reading the reviews I thought I would give Nail Salon and Cynthia a try. I made an appointment for a Saturday, However I got a prompt response for a appointment change which was impressive and no issue for me to change. I had a manicure and pedicure and could not be happier. The Salon was quiet with relaxing music in the background for a Sunday appointment. Cynthia was amazing! If you are looking to be pampered this is the place to go. Cynthias salon is very clean (which is huge for me, I hate dirty salons). She offers a wide variety of services from waxing to pumpkin pedicures to acrylics. I have personally had the pumpkin pedicure and it is out of this world! I am a chef and always on my feet, the pumpkin pedicure left my feet smooth and smelling great. Also I always get the gel pedicure with glitter and I have never had a chip or the gel last anything less than 6 to 8 weeks. The BEST pedicures I have ever had. If you care about quality service and products and truly bring pampered the nail lab is where you need to go. Cynthias expertise and personality make it well worth the price. You get what you pay for and then some!Updated to add that she now has even better sugar scrubs and body butters for her manis and pedis. Best nail services I have had hands down.

Love this place! While traveling I popped into The Nail Lab based on reviews for gel mani-pedi service concealing that I too was a Salon owner out of NY. As a professional its hard to sit back and allow another professional execute services, but I was able to do just that with no complaints.
