Dr. Kotick is an amazing plastic surgeon! He was highly recommended to me by the nurse of a different plastic surgeon..... they said this is the doctor I would go to..... hands down the best! I had an osteoma (benign bone tumor) on my forehead that he removed and I am absolutely amazed at the small incision he made and his skill at making this scar practically nonexistent. I have trouble finding it! He is a skilled, confident, personable plastic surgeon that I highly recommend. His staff is just wonderful to work with too. All so friendly and helpful.

There are no words I can say that can express how wonderful Dr. Kotick and his entire team and staff were, I had a breast reduction and on July 29th of 2024 I have hit my 2 year mark, my breast and scars still look amazing I am and have healed up better than I could have imaged I could. I seen other surgeons prior they made me feel like a insurance patient, but when DtR. Kotick walked in the room I felt comfortable, safe and secure. He answered all my questions, didnt make me think he was in a rush, listen to my concerns and mostly made me feel like a human being. I know longer live in Florida but if I ever needed any kind of work done in this area or any in regards to the plastic surgery area I will fly back to florida and only allow Dr. Kotick to perform it on me. After waiting a while for my consultation,I quickly understood why his office is so busy. Words can not begin to describe how absolutely life changing him and his amazing team are. From Beth and Joellen in the front office, to his MA Brigitte and his PA Natalie. The moment I walked out the door after my consultation, I knew I had found a surgeon and a team I could trust. Being a transgender man in Florida is not easy but it didnt phase Dr. Kotick and his team.During my consult he and Natalie listen to all of my concerns, answered all of my questions and gave me the sense of hope, I had nearly lost. The ladies in the front helped me navigate through the needed information for insurance and even gave me recommendations for places to obtain the necessary documents for surgery.Surgery day came and instead of feeling nervous, I felt relief. Dr. Kotick is a Miracle Worker!!I went to Dr. Kotick with horrific scars created by a previous plastic surgeon after a mommy makeover a year and a half ago.The scars were so bad I avoided looking in the mirror.On my first visit with him he noticed some of my scars looked painful (he was right). Without hesitation, he treated the areas and did not ask for any compensation. It was obvious, this doctor actually cared!My husband went with me on the follow-up visit. He asked Dr. Kotick lots of questions. Dr. Kotick answered them very succinctly, in terms we understood, and showed us exactly how he would correct the scars.I am ecstatic to report he has given me my life back!! The scars on my breasts and tummy tuck are minimal. My belly button once again looks normal. As a matter of fact, Im happy to look in the mirror these days.He is truly a gifted surgeon!!!On another note, when you hire Dr. Kotick you should also hire his post surgical care associate. Between Dr. Kotick and GECA aesthetics, my care has been exceptional!!

I have been very fortunate to have had Dr Kotick as a surgeon over the past 2 years. He has performed 3 procedures on my face, abdomen and side with great results. While these were not cosmetic in nature he took great care to ensure that the end results were as natural looking as possible. He is very upfront about what hes going to do and makes sure youre in 100% agreement. I had very little discomfort throughout the entire process and the scars for the most part are nearly all gone and/or well hidden.A big contributing factor to his outstanding practice is the professional staff he has working for him. His PA Natalie is world class, as are his nurses. His scheduler is very outgoing and easy to work with. She will work hard to make sure that you are very comfortable with the schedules and prepared with everything you will need to know to get ready. And one last big plus is his front desk staff. From the moment you step through the door youre greeted with a smile and prompt friendly service.

At the age of 35 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I had to immediately have a double mastectomy. I was explained at my appointment that I could meet with a plastic surgeon who could then put implants in for me and help with the breast reconstruction afterwards. That’s how I met Dr. Kotick. I was comfortable with him from our very first consultation. At the time of my mastectomy, I was not able to do direct implants. He had to put in tissue expanders, which are put into the empty cavity after the cancer, and all the breast tissue is removed. Then overtime you slowly fill these tissue expanders to stretch the skin. Once I reached the size, I was comfortable being we set up a surgery date for my breast reconstruction. Today, for the first time, I saw what my new breasts looked like and I cried happy tears , because I was so overwhelmed with how amazing they looked. Cancer took so much away from me. I couldn’t Look at myself in the mirror without crying in horror. I thought that I would never be able to love my body again. Today that changed, Dr. Kotick is honestly an artist who gave me back a very large piece of what cancer took away from me. He will never understand the gratitude I feel towards him. I really want to commend Dr.. Kotick and his wonderful office staff! I had to undergo a reconstructive nose surgery. I am so glad that I found Dr. Kotick! My nose looks perfectly fine! I have never met another surgeon who shows so much care, concern and thoughtfulness for his patient - not to forget to mention his professionalism, excellent surgeon skills and outstanding after care! On one of my early visits he recommend to obtain a second opinion from another plastic surgeon. As I found out these offices have a very long appointment wait time, it would have been months before I could have been seen by the recommended plastic surgeon. Dr. Kotick heard about it and - without me asking for help - went ahead and contacted this plastic surgeons office and I was able to receive an earlier appointment for a second opinion. Wow! This is just another proof of how much Dr. Kotick cares about each and every one of his patients! I can see that he strives for his patients total satisfaction and feeling very well taken care of by him and he certainly succeeds! Also his staff could not be more friendly, welcoming and helpful as well as being cheerful. I feel like I am visiting friends! I am still in after care of my surgery and I feel wonderfully taken care of! - even when I voice concerns or have questions Dr. Kotick listens patiently and does not rush my Dr.s visits - I highly appreciate that! Master of the Tummy Tuck! I had consulted with 3 different surgeons over 15 years wanting to get rid of excess skin and stretch marks from babies. I had never felt comfortable with my midsection and no matter how much exercise I did , it just never went away (I also had a 5-6 cm muscle separation)Each time though, I walked away not feeling they were “the one” to trust with this major surgery. I felt I had realistic expectations for the lower scar, but was most concerned with how my belly button would look. I probably looked at thousands (not exaggerating) of Before and After pics , and there are a lot out there that scream “I HAD A TUMMY TUCK!”I had basically given up when then Dr Kotick was highly recommended. Consult #4. Within 5 minutes of meeting him I knew he was “the one”. His confidence (without arrogance) of how he would perform the procedure, why he did some things differently than other surgeons (ie no liposuction for less risks), and his promise of “I’ll give you a cute belly button,” sealed the deal.I am one month post op and now have a very natural looking cute belly button, visible abs and am very happy with my decision!

Dr. James D. Kotick is a excellent surgeon who pays attention to what the patient needs and wants. He is very professional and kind hearted as well. So this is my daughters story. And I hope this helps anyone who is going through this to make the decision to have Dr. Kotick be your surgeon of choice. My daughter is 15 years old and has been battling very large breasts for almost 3 years now. They said it was due to her hormones. They became so heavy that they were down to her stomach area. I brought her into our physician and she said there was nothing she could do but to request a breast reduction but being she is so young it’s probably not going to happen. I then was given a list of many surgeons to call. I called about 40 and nope nothing. Then a friend of mine had said try giving Palm Ascetics Dr Kotick is amazing. So I gave them a call and they said yes bring her in. He made her feel so comfortable and not embarrassed at all. He had his female staff in the room to make her comfortable. He then agreed that a reduction was the way to go and we need to go through insurance. We scheduled the surgery and she had it done at the end of May. I was very nervous as a parent but he made us feel very calm. Her surgery was a success and she got to use this special suction device the sped up the healing process. He took off a few pounds of breast tissue and she looks amazing!!! She finally got her confidence back and I thank him for that. He is truly a artist! Dr. Kotick is absolutely incredible! I don’t write reviews often..if ever. I felt the need to write him one because finding the right surgeon is a difficult task.I had lost a lot of weight and needed help to become the person I knew I could be after all the weight loss.After visiting 5 plastic surgeons throughout Florida, Dr. Kotick was the only one who actually listened and cared about making me happy. I am so thankful to have been referred to Dr. James Kotick. As a high risk individual for breast cancer my husband and I made the decision with Dr. Koticks guidance to have a prophylactic skin and nipple sparing double mastectomy with immediate reconstruction. I made the decision to have the surgery based solely on the fact it would reduce my chances of having breast cancer by 95%. I did so fully anticipating the results to be catastrophic to my self image. I never anticipated my results! Following my surgery Dr. Kotick told me Im part of your journey now and will be with you till we see this through! I have a long history of chronic neck, shoulders and back pain. I have had several spinal surgeries and shoulder surgeries with lots of hardware implants in multiple parts of my body. I also have degenerative disk disease. Having very large breast only added to my daily extreme discomfort and pain. Over the last 10-15 years it was highly recommended that I have breast reduction. Although I was previously approved by my insurance company at least two or three times, I never felt positive or comfortable about the surgery until my first consultation with Dr. Kotick. I felt instantly at ease with Dr. Kotick who explained the entire process of the reduction in great detail. I can not say enough about Dr. Kotick’s incredible gift as a surgeon. He is a perfectionist. I recently said to him during one of my follow up appointments, “I think you are a genius”, to which he replied, “I only want to help people”. I’m sure that is the heart of his practice, doing his very best for each and every patient. He is a brilliant surgeon and an incredible compassionate person. I was referred to Dr. Kotick several years ago for a reoccurring breast concern. After 3 years and 3 surgeries, I still had no answers and was beginning to lose hope. I had lost almost 100lbs on my own, but was stuck with all this extra skin that just wouldnt go away. Dr. Kotick trimmed a whopping 7.5lbs of skin and cinched my waist 5in!! How he transformed my body the way he did still just blows my mind. I have gained so much confidence and am no longer ashamed to look at myself in the mirror.Not only were the results amazing, but the entire experience was great as well, from start to finish. His staff is incredible. They made sure every question was answered and I knew exactly what to expect throughout the entire process. I have always been self conscious about my ugly spider veins on both of my legs and was referred to Dr. Kotick specifically by a friend to have them removed. I also decided that I would like to get botox and lip fillers done at the same time. I have had botox done before, but was nervous about getting my lips done as well as my spider veins removed. After my recent diagnosis of a melanoma of a scalp lesion, I was referred to Dr. James Kotick for plastic surgery. What a great recommendation, Dr Kotick is just a super person. So knowledgeable and I can not say enough about his expertise.He gave me two options . Option A, skin graft to cover wound as precise as possible but would still have small sized bald spot or Option B, flap reconstruction, which I believe a little more involved and possibly a little more painful. Definitely my first choice was Option A and live with the bald spot. He suggested Option B and I ultimately went with that.I am thrilled he helped me with my decision because the result is amazing and pain was minimal.
