    Ashlynn is the best! She’s so personable and makes the time fly by. She is skilled at what she does and gives me insight into my skin, hair growth, and care needs. Sugaring is now my preferred type of wax and it is mostly due to how enjoyable His & Hers Bare Beauty, but specifically Ashlynn, creates a consistent and empowering environment.No pictures to share obviously 🤭 but know that after a Brazilian you will be BALD and it is worth all the money. Ashlynn is detailed oriented and will leave little to no hairs left behind.

    Stephani is incredible with her level of knowledge, skills, and kindness in her skincare services. I’ve had several facials by her, which always leave my skin beautiful, happy, and fresh. Not only the face care is wonderful but also her abilities to sugar my legs until they’re silky smooth! Excited for my next upcoming appointment and to get some more beauty skin care supplies that are clinically proven to help maintain my happy skin!     I visited His and Hers Bare Beauty Salon yesterday and had such a wonderful experience! I did their sugar waxing which I normally do and was super impressed with my visit. Very attentive and kind staff who helped me right when I walked through the door! I had the pleasure of having Brea, the owner, do my service and she was so friendly and made sure that I felt comfortable the entire time! We had some great conversation and I was super happy with the results in the end! I will definitely be coming back here to have my waxing done while I am living in the Venice/Sarasota area. 5+⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Thank you guys!!!

    Ashlynn was amazing, she made me feel at home. It’s been five years since I’ve had any waxing and I couldn’t ask for a cleanier, more friendly environment. I will definitely be back in 6weeks and I highly recommend for any waxing or facial needs. Thank you Ashlynn and his & hers bare beauty!!

    As someone who is used to having a strong reaction to traditional waxing, I decided it was time to try sugaring instead and this place came up over and over when I was researching for the best sugaring salon in town. Im so glad I found them! Today was my first service with Stacy and it was fantastic. She was knowledgeable, professional and kind. It was less painful than traditional waxing and my redness was gone in less than 2 hours - Im used to it lasting 24 hours! Im a fan and Ill definitely be back and refer my friends.

    This spot is a gem!! When I moved to Sarasota I wanted to find a place to get Brazilian sugaring - not just waxing! I used to work at a sugaring spa up North, and even though Ive changed careers I find my work history makes me picky about spas. I need to know Im going somewhere CLEAN! Well, Im so glad I found Bare Beauty!!! I really trust Breas skin care advice, and shes introduced me to some great treatments that have helped with my issues. Its nice to have an esthetician with great knowledge of medical skin issues, and I found her really innovative treating congestion on my back with a mix of approaches. I love going to a small, local spa, especially with covid concerns right now. Knowing the owner is keeping it clean and safe because she works there too is such a relief, and just feels better to me than the big chain waxing places. Its so safe and comfortable there, and even as Im getting hair removal treatment Brea is always willing to give me advice on anything else Im wondering about acne, sunburns, whatever! I appreciate how much she goes above and beyond. Highly recommend! If youve only been waxed, try sugaring!!

    I have been coming to His and Hers Bare Beauty since I moved to the area a year ago. I had just begun sugaring a few months before in my home state and was anxious to find a reputable spa that would perform sugaring rather than waxing in the Sarasota area. I can’t tell you how excited I was to find His and Hers Bare Beauty!!! These ladies are fantastic!!! The atmosphere is so relaxing (I’ve fallen asleep a number of times during my facials!) and all three ladies are so sweet and do everything they can to make your experience the best you’ve ever had! Do not hesitate to schedule an appointment with any of these ladies! All three have worked with me and they are all amazing!!!

    Today was my first EVER experience getting a Bikini sugar wax and it was absolutely amazing. Everyone made me feel incredibly comfortable,very nice just the all around atmosphere was WOW!!! They educated me on procedures and was very patient with me considering this was my first time. I would recommend everyone give His and Hers a try i promise you will not be sorry.     I am extremely impressed with this spa! My esthetician, Stacy did a phenomenal job with my sugaring service! She is very attentive, thorough and gentle. I appreciate how clean and posh the spa is! The hospitality is impeccable because right when you check-in, you are warmly greeted and asked if you would like a beverage! My kind of spa! Please check them out and support them as they are a small business and during these times they need the extra help/business.

Ive have had sugaring done before at other salons, but let me tell you, this place is SO much better and the pain was noticeably less than the other places Ive been to.     Just got my sugaring wax done yesterday at this place for the first time and I literally fell in love! Everyone was so nice to me, especially Stephani!!! She made sure I was comfortable and she was very entertaining and at the same time professional while doing an incredible job!     Had a great experience today at Bare Beauty. Making an appointment was easy, all my questions were answered (and I had a lot not knowing anything about sugaring) and they were even able to accommodate me early.They do a great job making you feel comfortable and making the process as painless as possible. After less than an hour, there was no burning or redness on my skin. Gave instructions for before and after care. I will definitely be back!

    Brea did a fantastic job on my facial!! I wasnt red or blotchy after like Ive been after other facials. Everything was clean and I felt comfortable without a mask for my facial.     This is the place where I get my Brazilian sugaring done and these ladies go above and beyond every single time! I usually get my service done by Stacy, but the last time I was there Brea did it for me and the quality never fails. Every time I go there the ladies make sure to greet me as if I were family and treat me with great courtesy. Even though intimate sugaring can be quite unpleasant they find a way to make the experience not only more bearable, but also enjoyable in a way.Great thanks for being there, ladies, and always doing an outstanding job!

    I cannot say enough good things about this place. I had been going to European wax center for just over a year, and never fully loved it. Once my regular wax girl left, I had to go with someone else. I ended up leaving burned and in so much pain with so much hair still left. I had the worst experience and knew I never wanted to go back.I went on google and found His & Hers bare beauty and I ended up making an appointment with the Owner. I read all the reviews and they are all true. They are FANTASTIC. I researched wax vs. sugaring and loved what I was reading so I decided to give them a try. When I got there, I felt truly pampered. Everyone is so nice, informative and calming. She was so thorough and talked me through the process as well. ( I had a Brazilian done and I was plenty nervous ) But she made me feel very relaxed! I was incredibly blown away by how clean, professional and caring my first experience was! I left happier than I EVER did at EWC. I am so thankful to have stumbled across their store. It was truly a blessing and I will never go anywhere else for my waxing needs!!!

    Brea Risner is the best! Hot wax did not agree with my skin, and sugaring was the perfect solution. It is less painful and perfect if you have sensitive skin. The salon is chic and very clean. I highly recommend Brea and her team.

    If there is a better rating than five, they get it! I went there to have my eyebrows tattooed. From the moment I entered today everything was perfect. When I walked in, Brea, the owner, greeted me. She is very sweet and welcoming. Tiffany followed a bit later. She does the eyebrows. She is also very sweet, but the whole experience with her was amazing. Tiffany is compassionate, warm, professional, and made sure every detail was to my liking. She would ask, ask, and ask.She spent an extraordinary amount of time with me just to make sure everything was perfect. And it was!If you’re thinking about doing your eyebrows, please see Tiffany.     I am so glad this place exists. I moved from LA where sugaring was very common and I was surprised when I couldn’t find many places when I moved to Sarasota. Come on, it’s a beach town?! But I found bare beauty and I’m soooo happy I did! I had a Brazilian sugaring by Jackie… 10/10 recommend. The environment is warm and welcoming, good music playing, and they have an interesting ceiling to stare at while you’re getting hair ripped out - GENTLY and perfectly ripped out, may I add… this was, no lie, one of the LEAST painful sugarings I’ve ever had. I usually want to cry at least once during a Brazilian but Jackie’s technique is something from the heavens because I was fine the ENTIRE time! Jackie was also so fun to talk to with such a relaxing demeanor. It was just all around a great experience and I’m a forever customer. Definitely going to try their lymphatic drainage facial as well.

Nice hot towel provided at the end to clean up, and a colloidal silver spray provides TLC for your tender bits.Easy online booking (or you can text) and checkout process, sparkling clean studio, and I can’t get enough of their stylish and fun brand (seriously, I spent and extra 5 mins in the bathroom reading all the witty posters😂)!If you’re hesitant about sugaring (or hair removal in general), put yourself in their expert hands and walk away beautifully bare!

    My experience here were many firsts. First time facial (thanks Brea), first time eye brow tutorial (thanks Stephanie), and a first time for my boyfriends complete sugar wax (thank you again, Stephanie)..lord knows he needed it. Haha.     This sugaring beauty shoppe is one of a kind, and I love it. Having just moved to the area, I realized there were very few sugaring spots in the area - this could even be the only one.     I was very happy when I came across His and hers bare beauty because it’s the only place that does sugar waxing in the surrounding cities. It was my first time getting a Brazilian sugar wax, I loved it, I left feeling like a new woman, I’ve never felt so soft and smooth after a wax, I didn’t even have any break out/skin irritation which always happens after a wax! I was even given time to wipe myself after with a hot cloth and oil‘s were provided. I give you my word you won’t have anything short of an amazing experience here!     I scheduled with Sommer 6 weeks ago for my first sugaring hair removal treatment before a cruise. In the past I had always been hot waxed (at another spa) but suffered from ingrown hairs and discomfort related to that. I researched sugar waxing and decided to give my business to a local establishment. This was the best decision I could have made. Not only was it virtually painless, but Sommer’s professionalism and expertise made the switch from hot wax to sugar wax more than seamless. I am going back tomorrow for my maintenance session and I have referred multiple people to this salon because great wax experiences are hard to come by. Don’t walk, but Run(!) to this salon if you want someone who masters their craft while simultaneously keeping you informed about what they are doing and why, explaining ways to maximize maintenance during the time between your next visit, and somehow manages to make you feel comfortable during what may otherwise feel like an uncomfortable interaction. I wish I could give more than 5 stars, because they definitely exceed my expectations!

    Breas Microplane Facial was hands down the best facial Ive ever experienced. Not only did my skin feel soft and smooth afterwards but she took the time to clean out my pores. The decor is beautiful and the facial tables very comfortable. The space is clean and inviting and the facial products luxurious. I cant wait to go back!!

    Incredibly clean and attractive environment They have a great professional staff and provide a number of spa services. For hair removal, you will never go back to waxing once you try sugaring. Very friendly and welcoming.

    It was my first time getting sugar waxing and it was amazing!!! I had a previous bad experience with regular waxing and it was extremely painful. But sugar waxing was a lot less painful and I had Stacy which did an awesome job! Definitely will be coming back

    You must try sugar hair removal. Without going into too much detail, I have had problems with shaving and products used on my underarms. Since Brea has been removing my underarm hair with this sugar removal technique I no longer have redness, irritation, itching -no more painful ingrown hairs. I am able to use any deodorant. Hair that grows back is much thinner and finer. I will never go back to shaving or waxing! I have also used other services available and have never been disappointed. Brea is exceptional-very knowledgeable, informative, & willing shares her expertise.
