Hidden gem. Prices are great in comparison to other massage places. Ladies at check-in are always friendly. I tried a couple of different massage therapists, but stuck with Marsha now for over a year, who is fantastic. The menu of services is very good as well.

I have been coming here for a very long time and have never had a bad experience. Bronwyn is terrific. She listens to what your aches and pains are and wants feedback as she works on you. Her hands are wonderful . I do the deep tissue and boy she has some power. If Bronwyn is booked up, Roy is very good also. I’ve never had a bad massage here, but do see if you can get in with Bronwyn.

Im not a fan of massages & my hubby & I received a gift from his parents for a couples massage and facial. It took me almost a year to go & when we finally did....Oh. My. Goodness! What an awesome experience!!!! This place was so relaxing, everyone was so kind and Roy (he did my massage) was unbelievably nice! He asked me what I was comfortable with and if there was any part that needed a little extra work. He was amazing!!!!! Never once did I feel the slightest uncomfortable and the hour flew by. I could have easily stayed on that table for another 2 hours. Then I was lucky enough to have a facial performed by Debbie. So professional & a master at her skill all the while talking to me like weve known each other forever. I think we might actually be related...or should be anyway :)I HIGHLY recommend Essentials Spa of Sarasota (South Sarasota, just off of Clark Road)I know Ill be booking services again. Chris here is amazing! I was in need of a deep tissue/sports style treatment, and he is the first therapist Ive found that is able to locate the different muscles that are pinched/spasm/knotted without me mentioning these spots prior. I have used him biweekly for 2 months now, and am greatly more flexible and in much less constant pain. Would 100% recommend if you find yourself constantly sore.

Ive been to this location several times now. Previously I had joseph as my massage therapist and he did a fantastic job. He listened to the areas where I wanted him to focus on, unlike many places Ive gone to in the past. I will tell them where I am hurting and they barely spend time on those areas. I was disappointed to hear he had moved to the north location but decided to give someone else a chance. Today I had a 90 min deep tissue massage scheduled with chris and I was not disappointed at all. I came in with a badly kinked neck and had been having a lot of back pain. He focused primarily in those areas and wasnt afraid to apply pressure! He found several spots that had knots I didnt even realize were there myself. I would highly recommend him and will definitely book with him again in the future. Thanks!

The decor is so cute and cozy and the smell is amazing right when you walk in. I had Andrew who goes by “Andy” and he was the best massage I’ve had! I told him my trouble area and he knew exactly what to do! He wasn’t afraid to use pressure to really release the knots which I loved! (I’m small framed so I usually have to keep asking for more pressure) You can tell he really knows what he’s doing!! It felt so amazing! I will be using Andy again! I recently visited Sarasota Essentials Day Spa based solely on a high recommendation from a friend. Once I entered the facility I was totally impressed with the cleanliness, beautiful décor, soothing music and the knowledgeable staff. Elise was very informative with their services they offer as well as Sigrid and Forrest who did my massage and facial. As a brand new client, it was super easy to book an appointment on-line and find the location. And most importantly, while I was there - it was an easy transition from the massage room to the facial room - no wait in between! Total two hours of relaxation. I cant wait to return!

This was EASILY the best massage Ive ever had - and Ive had massages all over US, Canada, some in Europe, some Middle East. Michelle, south Sarasota location, is incredibly talented. She approaches massage like a dance or yoga session. Reminded me of the choreography of Thai massage but without the participation on my part. Just beautiful. Michelle will tell you she suffers from arthritis and so cant do high pressure but I found the pressure excellent. Shes a musician with her hands. And she doesnt chat your ear off, stays focused on her work. Dont bother trying to book her cuz Ill be monopolizing her time while Im in town!

I had my first massage and facial here 2 weeks ago. I decided to go again and bring my adult son. He decided he didnt want a facial, and I just had one so we decided on 80 minute massages. They were great. I suggested Beth to my son, as I had her the first time and knew she was good. He was very happy. I had Kelly. She was fabulous. She worked on my neck like nobody else ever has. I thought those two muscles going up the back to my skull were suppose to be rock hard. Nope....Kelly loosened them so much. I feel better than Ive felt in a long time. I also noticed that when she felt something off she kept going back to that spot until it was gone. She just couldnt overlook it. Very professional and through. We will be back.I
