    I am so happy we found this place! Before we came to dermatology associates my daughter had been battling psoriasis for almost a year. She was diagnosed with ring worm at her previous dermatologist and it took them 6 months to finally get the correct diagnosis. After 6 more months of trying to get her psoriasis under control with the old dermatologist we decided to try somewhere else. From the very first appointment doctor Sarah Skipper has been determined to help my little girl. She has listened to us and answered all of our question. Both her and her staff actually know what they are talking about and are willing to help. Before we came to dermatology associates my daughter was covered from head to toe in psoriasis. Now she is almost clear. Her confidence is back! Thank you so much for giving my daughter her life back!

    I have been going to Dermatology and Associates for over 10 years, but had the best experience today. I saw Kendall Wells and I highly recommend her. She was friendly, kind, and made me feel very comfortable. She listened to all of my concerns patiently and gave me the info I needed about my medication without my even having to ask. She was very detailed during my exam and took her time. If you want to see a provider who will listen to you and respect you, go see Kendall! Kendall’s assistant was also very kind and helped provide a calm, welcoming atmosphere. Thank you!

    I had a very pleasant visit this past week. I was seen by Dr. Soni’s team. They were prompt, thorough, and professional. His PAs are exceptional. Not only did they address all my concerns with utmost care and attention, but they also took the time to explain each step of the treatment process which was very reassuring.     My first visit to Dermatology of Associates of Tallahassee was in October and it was successful, I scheduled another visit in November for a different reason.Dr. Bernhardt and staff were amazing. Dr. Bernhardt is very lucid in the information communicated. The entire staff if very professional with everyone displaying a friendly smile.I’ve visited this office twice and felt that he and his team provided me the best possible care.     I cannot think of enough superlative adjectives to describe Sarah Skipper, PA-C. She is one of the smartest women I have ever known. Her breadth of knowledge about all aspects of the broad spectrum of diseases and disorders that affect the human body is essentially unmatched by her peers. Her depth of knowledge about dermatology is astounding. She has an uncanny ability to turn a glance into a definitive diagnosis. She then spews out what it is, why its there, what caused it and how to treat it. Not only does she have the pharmacology of the drugs she usually prescribes down cold but she seems to know about every drug, whether it be old or brand new, that can negatively affect your skin. She tells you what to look for and what to do for it if such a drug should have an adverse skin reaction on you. She immediately brightens the exam room when she walks in. She seems always to have something complimentary to say that is just enough to make one glad he came to see her that day. True to her profession, her own skin is flawless, no doubt the combination of excellent genes and fastidious care. I prefer to deal with physician extenders--nurse practitioners and physicians assistants--because I feel they welcome the opportunity to deal with the health problems that many physicians find too mundane. Out of all the non-physician providers who have cared for me over the years, she is quite possibly the best prepared. She presents herself as being self-confident, professional, competent, well-trained and well-read. What shines through is her caring demeanor, her gentle touch and her genuine interest in you as a person. In addition to her complete awesomeness, she is supported by her assistant, Molly, whose warm smile, soft voice and traits similar to those of her boss just add even more pleasure to the experience. For my skin care needs there is no one else but Sarah Skipper, PA-C!

    The staff and doctors were wonderful not only at making me feel comfortable, but also extremely considerate and cared about.     I had a basal cell carcinoma removed from my back and about 2 inches into the muscle, I got 40 internal sutures and 20 external and it was completely healed within a week. I went back to work 3 days later and felt perfectly fine. Dr. Richardson and her assistant Nevada (who set his very first real suture on me) did amazing and I couldnt have asked for better communication and clarity on my situation.

    DAT is fantastic! Dr. Cohen has amazing bedside manner and really talks you through the treatment. I never feel like I am being talked down to there like other Doctors I have had. The staff is also incredibly friendly and polite, particularly the medical assistants that see you first. I would highly recommend this practice.

    Overall I had a delightful experience & understand why they are voted #1 in Tallahassee. I didnt have to wait long before being seen. The receptionist was polite and made me laugh. Mayra Zimmerman PA-C is a charming and meticulous Physician Assistant. She has a calming manner that made me feel more comfortable about my screening. She listened & checked every worry I had about my moles. I had to have a couple of biopsies completed & Claire took all the pain away.     Dr. Cohen & his nurses/staff are awesome! Ive been seeing him as my physician the past several years. I went through several local Drs before I was referred to Dr. Cohen who FINALLY knew what I had and how to treat it properly! I can not thank him enough for being a blessing to me!!     I visited Dermatology Associates of Tallahassee in August of 2022. This was my first encounter with this business and I was very pleased with the service and curtesy of every staff member that I met. The office was very clean and I was seen very quickly after signing in for my scheduled appointment. My only complaint is with the billing procedure. While in the office, I paid in full the amount that was not expected to be covered by my insurance. I received two separate identical bills in the mail within two days of each other in December. The statement was incorrect in every amount posted. The amount billed for each service, the amount that I paid in the office, and the amount of adjustment made by the insurance company were all incorrect. I contacted the office and later received a more detailed and itemized bill including the insurance information. I still owed a balance and gladly paid it upon receiving the corrected statement. I plan to continue to use this business for my dermatology needs, as long as this billing situation isnt an issue. I highly recommend their services but I also highly recommend that you check your EOB from your insurance company before paying any bills that you receive.

    Everyone is the office is nice and helpful. Dr. Green and Tristan have the BEST bedside manner and truly care of each patient. I joke with them all the time saying I wish they could see me for primary care because they are so genuine and caring. I would drive 4 hours one way to see them if I ever moved or vice versus.

The staff is very friendly and the doctors often have pre-med students working with them during exams or surgery ( I love that they include students in this way).The doctors are fabulous.     I received excellent care. We have been patients for many years. My husband Donnie has past history of melanoma and basal cell CA. We never had past problems with getting cancer policy reimbursement. This time i had basal and needed to submit to our insurance. It took 3 phone calls and several weeks to get what we needed to submit. I had everything filled out just needed my records. How would u fill if it took 3 phone calls and several weeks to get paid??

    I have been a patient for over seven years going for skin exams every four to six months after a serious melanoma surgery on my face in 2008. The consistency of quality care has been unbelievable. I have found that the doctors and nurses and all the staff, are not only thorough and knowledgeable but friendly, kind and take the time making you feel that you are the only patient that is there. In between my appointments if I see a spot on my skin that looks “funny” they get me in ASAP. The other thing that is extremely important to me is cleanliness. In my opinion from the front door to the back door is always impeccably clean and as you can see I have been in the offices many times. I can not say enough about the quality of care that I have received. Thank you for my peace of mind after my skin exams!

    Woah! I think I have the best provider ever. Tristan has a great bedside manner, and he is very knowledgeable. He never hesitate to answer any questions I have. He always make sure I understand thoroughly before I leave. He even follow up to make sure I get my prescriptions delivered. I use a mail-in pharmacy, and I was having trouble with my delivery. He took the time out of his busy day to call the pharmacy and demand they send it over night. I checked my mail today, and it arrived. I don’t think you can name another provider that is as dedicated as Tristan. I would recommend him and Dr. Green to anyone. Both are AWESOME

    Excellent preparation for extensive work done to remove cancer. Dr. Jackson is certified in a method that allows cancer to be removed and examined in house, to assure all cancerous tissue has been removed.     I saw Dr. Wolfe with Dr. Cognettas team and the medical assistant Emily for an urgent matter. Zara the nurse manager got me scheduled quickly that day. She leads a knowledgeable team, including Emily, the medical assistant who provided speedy and empathetic care. Dr. Wolfe knew just what to do and I can say that I immediately felt better that night. I cannot thank them all enough for the excellent care, knowledge and working me into their schedule. I was impressed and would definitely reccomend their practice and will return should I ever need.     I am beyond impressed with the speed in which I was seen following my biopsy results. Everything was handled so quickly and the Mohs procedure on my eyelid by Dr. Cognetta and team was done with minimal discomfort and was successful after 1 attempt! The way they coordinated my care with their partnering plastic surgeon was very streamlined and appreciated! 1 day after and you can hardly tell I had basal cell removed from my delicate eyelid!     My appointment was with Sarah Skipper PA-C and all I can say is wow. I was greeted with a smile and friendly face when I checked in. The receptionist told me I had some paper work to fill out (only because it was my one year check up) and explained the paperwork to me. She even pointed out which paper to keep an eye on only because it had a back side to fill out. The nurse I had, I believe her name was Eliza, was very patient when I was explaining to her the concerns I had and the specific spots I wanted Sarah to check out. Sarah was very thorough with her check and pointed out all the little things that I need to be looking out for. She made me feel at ease with the spots I was concerned about.     I was not looking forward to my visit to Dermatology Associates of Tallahassee. Doctors and I dont get along well, but I must say, this was one of the best Doctor appointments I have ever had.     I have been a patient of Dr. Cognettas for approximately 15 years. I would rate his medical knowledge and skill as equal to or greater than any physician I have ever had the pleasure of seeing.     I was referred to Dermatology Associates in 1999 by my GP. Saw them early in 2000. Turns out I had a melanoma on the back of my left hand. I have returned many times since to see Dr. Bob Soni. I could not say enough good things about this practice, especially since they saved my life 19 years ago.

    My old doctor retired. During my annual physical the new doctor at saw me was thorough and I felt well taken care of. My only complaint would be that the doctor I had chosen as a replacement for my old doctor was also retiring and would be gone even before I would get a chance to meet him. The doctor that saw me was from another state and was there only to help out for a few days. I could have been told my new doctor was retiring and for me to make another choice. Now, I dont know who my doctor is and will have to wait until next year to find out, bummer.

I had my Greatgranddaugh with me, so the staff took care of her while I was there and helped me put to my car.I have been a patient for a very long time and have had only one bad experience and Im still a little upset about that.     Dr. Jackson is phenomenal! Of all the dermatologists I’ve gone to in Tallahassee, he is the only one that has done a thorough exam of my skin. Other dermatologists simply glanced at my skin, asked me what the problem was, then they prescribed me similar medications that have done me more harm than good. Dr. Jackson is thorough, he does not make me feel rushed as a patient, and he is on time for his appointments which means a lot to me. I feel like I’ve finally found a doctor that I can trust and that truly has my best interest at heart. His nurses are sweet, professional, and are just as wonderful as he is.

    Ive been to other offices over my 25 years in Tallahassee, but Im so thankful that when I finally had a real problem and needed surgery that I was referred to this office! They were wonderful from the staff to my Doctor! The day I was to get the stitches out I had remembered the wrong time for my appt., when they called me I was already two hours late, they told me to come right over! Great place and wonderful staff.     Covid is taking its toll: the waiting room was too full a couple times we came, and appts could have been scheduled better; some came in without masks, one woman was coughing and kept removing her mask to blow her nose Ha Ive already shared this with nurse and dr insidealso, needed a llittle warning about possible side effects, things that could go wrong, but you dont need to worry about instead, I had a sleepless night worrying about the blob of blood in my face and made an unscheduled visit to you guys the next am.Thanks for accomodating that walk-in visit

    Two visits recently. One was for Tristan to remove a basal cell carcinoma previously biopsied. Procedure was quick and painless. Tristan is quite professional and has a good bedside manner. Total time at the office was less than an hour.More recently I saw Dr. Green for my semiannual checkup. I have had several melanomas removed in the past. The wait time was about 20 minutes. Dr. Green examined me thoroughly and did not rush. I have been a patient of his for several years and he always puts me at ease by catching up on what has been going on with me as he examins me.

    Dr. Jackson and all of his nurses were kind, efficient and great caregivers. I feel 100% secure in their hands. The folks at the front desk, however, did not call me the day before my surgery which I was told earlier that they would, to confirm the time. That made me feel nervous, and I had to call them.There was also a mixup regarding when I was coming back to have my stitches removed, and that was handled magnificently by the front desk people.On my last visit I had a large mole removed from behind my ear. The nurse was super (Daija) and personable on top of that. Dr. Jacksons confident approach and secure grasp of the scalpel got me through a slightly alarming procedure requiring asymmetrical cuts to remove the most annoying mole I had ever had. As ever, the post-operative care instructions are working perfectly and I am almost good as new. I never feel there is any kind of rush to get through the procedure and preparations with Dr. Jacksons team, which I have heard through friends and family is often the case in other dermatology practices. Thank you Dr. Jackson and staff for taking care of my medical needs.

    This is probably the best Dermatology office in town. I have eczema, seborrheic dermatitis, & keratosis pilaris since I was 4 years old, my ezcema mostly appears on my face which is really uncomfortable. I used topical and oral steroids since I was a kid, different creams etc... Tristan H. goes out of his way to answer all questions. He works with you to address all your skin concerns rather than just telling you what to do. He prescribed me Dupixent (a shot you get twice a month). Well since Dupixent is in high tier of medicines to prescribe, I needed approval from my insurance company.. Ms. Faith S., really is a God-send. I got denied twice for Dupixent but Ms. Faith took care of it and filed an appeal again and again and I got approved! I 100% recommend going here because they are the best!!!! They take care of their patients!

Her staff it really nice, except the Intern that saw me, I didnt dislike her, but I was put aback because she was Dry & somewhat Uptight, a softer bedside manner from her would be becoming and beneficial, and would go a long way in this life, and her future career.     I never have to wait long and Sarah, P.A. Is patient and polite. Not too long ago I made an appointment because my face kept itching and nothing I used would help. She had a company make up the cream I needed because it wasn’t something the pharmacies carry. I also showed her a small place that had come up on my face so she tested it for cancer and it came back positive. I was so glad she did all that to help. I now have a lovely scar on my face which should go away but the most important thing is I don’t have cancer anymore.Thank You Sarah

    Excellent friendly, skilled staff. Minimal delays in appointment wait time. Locatlon is convenient to me. Limited parking that requires negotiating a grade unless you have a driver.

    I have been going to them for many, many years, and they have always taken good care of me. Since I grew up in south Florida, Dade and Monroe Counties, I spent a great amount of time at the beaches or fishing. That has come back to give me quite a few problems. But my doctors and PAs have care of these problems. I highly recommend them.

    Dr., PA, and Staff were great. Took 4 biopsies. Got a call back to come back in for one of the spots. Went back, 4 blast of freeze and I am done. Went to check out, it was $40 co-pay. Questioned it and the lady said it was because it was surgery. That was disappointing.

    I go to Dermatology Associates once a year for skin checks and as needed should I spot something concerning. My experience over many years is that it is a well-run office staffed by great folks. The staff is always cordial and professional. The doctors, PAs, and support staff explain what they are doing and why.

    I have been seeing Dr Cognetta and his associates for the past eleven years for ongoing skin cancer issues. My husband and I travel an hour and a half to Dermatology Associates every 3-6 months. We both feel completely confident with the services we receive. Both Dr Cognetta and his staff are always very thorough and compassionate. Dr Cognetta has grown to know us over the years and he always asks about our family and how things are going in our lives. We absolutely love and 100% trust Dr Cognetta and his associates. They are without doubt the best and we will always use their services as needed. Very very grateful to have been referred there 11 years ago!

    Never much fun when you need the services of a dermatologist for more than just a checkup. However if the team is good and the service is professional then it helps make the experience so much better.That is what I experienced at Dermatology Associates. From the reception staff to the PAs to the doctors everyone was great. I hope that very few out there need more than just annual checkups however if you have to deal with more then it helps to have people like this to take care of you.

    It was a good experience considering what I had to have done. Having the fan to keep the burning down was very helpful. I didnt even feel I had to have the water but thought some people may so it is a good idea. The person helping was very pleasant and helpful.

    With life changes and career changes, Ive been a patient at four dermatology practices over the years and am delighted to say that the practice of Dr. Marc Inglese has, by far, been the best experience I have ever had. Dr. Inglese and his medical team are thorough, attentive to detail, and always willing to patiently answer any questions I might have. The staff at his front desk and in his billing department have been equally helpful. I appreciate the great customer experience I have enjoyed from his practice. Thank you all!!!

    I didn’t think I had any particular skin issues, but I did think that at retirement age a trip to the Dermatologist was probably in order. I assumed my first visit to Dermatology Associates would just be a quick meet & greet. I was surprised at the very thorough examination which revealed several pre-cancerous areas that were dealt with by freezing and later by a cream and a couple spots that required biopsies which were done right there on the spot! All this took place on my first visit! I was very impressed with their professionalism and ability to tackle issues immediately. I would recommend them to anybody who asked.

    Ive seen two Drs at Dermatology Associates, Dr Johnson, and Dr Green for Mohs surgery. Both were kind and personable. The staff is great. I have a long history of skin cancer so have seen several dermatologists before moving up here and this group is the best yet.

    This is Lee Batts, Debbies husband, responding to my appt a couple months ago, with follow-up coming in early Sept. I very much appreciated being squeezed in schedule-wise when I called with concern about a long standing spot on my nose. I was seen by the PA who froze the spot and a few weeks later I couldnt tell anything had ever been there. The entire staff was great, which went a long way toward reducing my mild anxiousness about my very first whole body exam coming in a few weeks.

    Dr. Cognetta and his staff are without a doubt the most competent and qualified doctors I have ever encountered. From start to finish I was aware of what to expect with each procedure. I had Moes surgery and within 20 minutes the biopsy results were done. Their staff then made arrangements for me to visit a plastic surgeon 10 minutes away to complete the procedure within the hour. This isnt Dr. Cognettas first rodeo..He teaches Moes surgery on his off day. He started this facility years ago and has surrounded himself with a staff who truly believes in customer service.Dan VanVleet...Feb. 4,2021.

    Dr. Soni saved my life. I was on a once a year schedule. One year he saw something new. He took no chances and biopsied the site. It was melanoma. Believe me, the site looked like nothing in the pictures of what to look for. Dr. Soni is a gifted professional. If you ever have to wait, my suggestion is to be patient. The next life he saves could be yours.

    I have read all the reviews and simply cannot agree with the negative replies, I have ALWAYS found Dr. Richardson and his staff to be polite . concise, knowledgeable, courteous, and prompt. I called on Dec 22nd, about a skin issue and was seen by the P A on 23rd, I await the reviews of the new Doctor, and hope they will live up to, my expectations based on quality care previously given.........
