    I could not recommend Dr Halpern more. His credentials far surpass most surgeons, which made me feel very comfortable going into the procedure. I had a breast lift and augmentation- I had always had decent sized breasts but they were saggy and deflated after having a child. This is not a “boob factory” - he walked me through every detail in an in depth consult, his team is very friendly and informative, it’s more of a family feel than the stiff, sterile, cold environment that you get in many cosmetic surgery clinics. He is a renowned hand surgeon as well, exactly who I would want operating on me or a loved one. I am over the moon happy with my results and I’m three months post op. I had no complications, Dr Halpern fit the implant perfectly to my body, I did a moderate high profile, so it has a natural look, but still that perky and fullness I was missing. I can finally go bra-less and feel great no matter what I’m wearing! The scarring is already minimal and in another 3 months should be almost gone. I have a lollipop incision for reference. His pricing was even better than some of the other big names in the area, and he was by far my favorite of the MANY consults I got. I’ve since sent a couple friends to him and everyone has been so happy with their results! 10/10 recommend.

    I decided to see about having a breast lift and reduction. I searched for a local doctor but I wanted a good doctor. I found Dr. Halpern through Google. I was impressed by what I saw and read about him.I made an appointment feeling really nervous about what I was getting myself into.From the moment I met Doctor Halpern, I was impressed by his down to earth attitude. He spoke with me with so much about what I was looking to achieve and the realities of what surgery would be like. He walked me all the way to the front desk and really listened to me. I was sooo impressed. His office staff: absolutely amazing as well! They are so kind and always greet you with a smile.I had my surgery a month later. Doc did the impossible I swear!     Dr. David Halpern is one of a kind!! He goes above and beyond for his patients and truly understands what they’re looking for and needing. Dr. David Halpbern educated me on my options and thoroughly reviewed my outcomes. His transparency, caring demeanor, and aesthetic artistic nature is what sets him miles ahead of other surgeons. I had nerve pain from a previous car accident combined with some muscle abnormalities, and Dr. Halpbern took the time necessary, as well as incorporated his skill set within neurology to ensure I not only never had the nerve pain ever again, but that I loved my body after surgery! His right hand Silvy said it best.. “I’m too young not to love everything about my body!”. Dr David Halpern performed a breast implant sub pectoral extraction, lift, and breast reduction, and I couldn’t be happier. I feel like myself again and look even better! As bad as I was feeling prior to surgery, I contemplated getting my implants out and going 100% natural… after doing research and with Dr. David Halperns non biased/neutral support, I realized I wouldn’t have been happy going from one extreme to another.After careful consideration I made the decision to replace my 500cc implants with charming 210cc implants, and I’m so happy I did!     I am a repeat patient of Dr. Halpern. He is honest, kind and helpful. The first visit was for a cosmetic concern which he was able to fix with surgery. He and his staff are caring and spent time with me to make sure everything went smoothly and it did. I am very happy with the work he did and the care I received afterwards.When my dermatologist referred me to a plastic surgeon, I knew just who to see! Most impressively, he didn’t jump right to surgery, he took the time to look at the issue and try something else first. I highly recommend them.

    Dr. Halpern is an outstanding physician. He is knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely cares about his patients. In my particular case, he was very concerned about my medical issue. So much so, he performed my surgery within a week and then assisted with setting up with an infectious disease specialist for me. I am very happy with the appearance of my surgery area and with the exceptional care I received. I would not hesitate to refer my friends and family to him in in the future. His office staff is also wonderful. Sylvia is very knowledgeable and caring. Linda was very helpful as well.

    I paid for consultations with other plastic surgeons that told me a fat graft to the face wouldnt correct the issues I had. Dr Halpurn gave me a free in person consultation. I got a fat graft and a rhinoplasty for an somewhat affordable price. I was happy with the results of the rhinoplasty but the fat graft didnt seem to take and you can see the outlines of my eye sockets again.

    Dr. Halpern is such a knowledgeable surgeon. He immediately recognized my issue and had me in for surgery within a week, thanks to the efforts of his wonderful staff. Sylvia, Sharon and Linda dealt well with my post surgical issues (and pictures!) They are endlessly patient and kind.I remember years ago that Dr. H. left a dinner to come to the E.R. to fix my husbands face after an injury. He has since performed Dupuytrens surgery on his hand and carpal tunnel surgery on his wrist, all with excellent results.I felt very confident and connected with both Dr H. and his staff, something that is so important in patient care and is rare to find with physicians nowadays.     After a 50 lb weight loss in my 20’s and nursing two children, I had considered a breast augmentation for a long time. When I finally decided to seriously look into it, I asked around and Dr. Halpern came highly recommended by two friends. I’m thankful I chose to follow their recommendations. From the time I walked into the office I felt comfortable and even more so after meeting Sylvia, the office manager. She’s very good at explaining the process, what to expect from beginning to end. Then, I met Dr. Halpern and immediately felt confident that he was the right choice. I saw him at each of my appointments, which is not always the case with other doctors. After one appointment, I called the office because I had forgotten to ask a question and he called me back to make sure I had all questions answered. I can’t say enough about his skills as well as he makes you feel that you are the only patient because he wants to make sure you get the results you want. I’m very happy with my outcome. I ended up adding a fat transfer and I’m happy with that, too. If you’re looking for an excellent surgeon with an office staff that cares, Dr. Halpern is your best choice.

    De Halpern is a very talented plastic surgeon and a caring doctor who was willing to see me and operate on me after an exhausting period of 4 years, 12 physicians and testing over and over again with no resolution for my complaints.     I met Dr. Halpern 7 years ago for a breast augmentation consultation. He was amazing. He took his time to explain the whole process and to actually listen to what I wanted. After leaving his office I knew he was the best at what he did and that he was the doctor for me. Unfortunately, life happened and I couldnt do the surgery. But after 7 years I went back to him and he still remembered me and welcomed me as if he saw me the other day. Dr. Halpern and his team took such great care of me. I knew I was in great hands.     Dr. Halpern is a miracle worker!! I never thought of my breast would ever look so amazing, let alone feel real again. My breast were very complicated with a capsular contraction on both sides. I had no hope and was turned away by 2 other Drs who said it was more reconstruction and referred me to David Halpern. He is a miracle worker and he did the most amazing job, my breasts are even and so soft, Im still in shock and in awe of what a beautiful job he did.     A little over 10 years ago, i I almost lost the thumb on my left hand, by cutting it 95% off with hedge trimmers while helping in the family business. Dr. Halpern was the surgeon who fixed my thumb, after I waited hours at another hospital with bleak hopes of ever getting my hand fixed and just depressing staff about me losing that part my hand or even cleaning and dressing my wound properly. Huge 6 Dr.halpern fought the insurance for me so that they would pay the medical emergency at hand. He had my best interests at heart and did such an amazing job repairing my thumb! Theres little to know scarring and I have almost 100% functionality. know I said thank you as a kid but I wanted to say as an adult thank you for being the best you are at what you do, and your office team taking excellent care of me!

    I am writing this review to let all people and families know that Dr. Halpern is not only a wonderful Doctor but also a kind and patient person. My mother had three cancer legions two Basal Cell Carcinomas and one Squamous Cell that were causing great pain. We had first visited a local dermatologist that told us maybe radiation;however, there was nothing that he could do! As.this didnt seem possible we researched options and eventually found Dr. Halpern. When we met the doctor he not only said he could treat my mom; but, that she could again be comfortable. We were set for the procedure after the first visit and Dr. Halpern explained the steps and assured us of a great outcome. We have now completed the procedure and follow up visits with excellent results. It is with great pleasure that I give Dr. Halpern and his staff the highest recommendation.     Dr. David Halpern is amazing. I most recently did the Strawberry laser lipo and it was so incredible. I painlessly lost 2 pant sizes and have my pre-baby figure back! My first experience with Dr. Halpern was when I accidentally stabbed myself with gardening shears and had to get nerve repair surgery on my thumb. Dr. Halpern was recommended to me as the best hand surgeon in this part of the country. Because of his surgeon skills and expertise (I will spare you the graphic details), I now do not have to worry about losing the use of my thumb. He saved me from what could have been catastrophic to my career as a photographer and artist.There are a few negative reviews I just read and they must be talking about the other Dr. Halpern that is in Tampa. Dr. David Halpern has a STERLING reputation. I have NEVER once spoken to someone that said anything other than how absolutely talented and amazing he is. His staff is also incredible.I will warn you though, you will love him so much that other doctors wont be good enough anymore. He sets the standards extremely high and consistently exceeds my expectations. I have never waited for an appointment for more than 15 min in his office. When I had my thumb surgery the nurse said, we need to go ahead and get you prepped because when Dr. Halpern schedules your procedure at 7am that means he wants to be operating on you at that time. This was such a relief because a lot of the past surgeries Ive had with other doctors they schedule you at 7am but thats when they show up at the facility and then they dont start operating until much later.Im sorry to write such a long review but Dr. David Halpern deserves every glowing word. The best part is if you do have a cosmetic procedure, he is so good that nobody will know. I have been to his office multiple times and I have never once seen someone who looks fake. Dr. Halpern is not only skilled but his has excellent personal taste....meaning if you are a size 0 and you want a GGGG bra size, this is not the doctor for you. Think timeless, classy, elegant, discreet. Thats what you will get from Dr. H.One more thing.....Dr. H is also the go-to Plastic Surgeon for all of the worst trauma cases that come to Tampa Bay. Triple board certified, Chief Plastic Surgeon of Tampa General.....and personal taste so you just look like the best version of yourself. Thats why you go to him. Hes the best.

    I just had my breast implants removed by Dr. David Halpern in December after experiencing a year straight of the worst health issues of my life, to no answers or reasons as to why. The first part of this was to commit myself to the idea of having this surgery for the purpose of reclaiming my health. The vanity in me did not want to remove them, but I was desperate and had tried everything else. The next part was to find the right person to do it. I consulted with three surgeons for this procedure, including the original surgeon who implanted them. Most of the information I was given in the consults were similar so in most cases it would seem really difficult not to cloud the decision based on cost. However, Dr. Halpern was the ONLY doctor who stopped to notice and ask about my auto immune condition (as disclosed on my paperwork at every doctor I have ever seen) and mention the fact that in some cases auto immune disorders and foreign objects dont mix well and could present the possibility of health risks. (Hence my health issues maybe? I should have been told pre implant!) At no point was he guaranteeing this surgery would fix my health, but it told me that this doctor paid attention to something not a single other doctor did. I was sold at the first consult with him and Silvia. The surgery was successful with no complications. His bedside manner is top notch. I remember he came back to check on me as I was coming out of anesthesia. At my first post op appointment he was gentle with me emotionally. I think he could tell my mental well being was fragile because he knew I didnt feel great about the way I looked. He talked with me and reminded me about my reasons for having the surgery, which I needed at the time but I doubt its a service most surgeons offer after theyve done what they were paid to do. Its because he actually cared. Today was my last post op appointment, at 9 weeks post op. I am still working through my health issues. Dr. H says I need to allow up to 6 months for my body to recognize that the implants are out but now I know that I have removed them as a culprit and my body is no longer fighting them. For any women out there dealing with similar issues, you do not need to find someone who specifically specializes in explant removal and pay a million dollars to see them, travel to LA or wait on a one year waiting list. Consult with this guy. He removed my implants and capsules, showed me proof and made me feel like family the entire way through. I have spent a year being a career patient and feeling anxious and annoyed every time I had to walk into a doctors office to re-explain my story. My experience with Dr. David Halpern is the best experience with a medical provider I have ever had. On top of everything else, hes super down to earth and most importantly, HE LISTENS!     2007 I had my artery (which he didnt have anything to do with) and my median nerve cut apart. After all these years I am still very thankful Dr. Halpern was around to put me back together. Because of him I have great use of my dominant arm to this day. Your the man!!! And Thank You still

    I went to Dr Halpern for Migraine-specific Botox treatment for 3 years after my Neuro left Tampa area. He treated me successfully all that time but kept saying this was just a band-Aid and he knew of a colleague in Cleveland who could address this permanently. I have sub sequence try been to Cleveland and had the migraine surgery with 100% success! Without Dr Halperns intuitive insight and experience, I would not have my life back. This shows a high level of care and compassion to accurately diagnose a condition and suggest the best possible resolution. I cant thank him enough!

    Dr. Halpern did an excellent job correcting skin cancer left by Mohs surgery. I had minimal down time, no bruising, small swelling and no scar. Mohs surgery I had significant bruising, swelling for days and a large scar. Thankfully, he not only removed the skin cancer but also the zig zag scar left by mohs. Office staff is professional and handled insurance. Great experience.

    I do not care what others have to say , I am came about Dr. Halpren a year ago or so when I needed to have my Achilles tendon replaced and needed a additional surgery to do so.I had a total positive experience and I am thankful for him and his staff, its been so wonderful and I am still in contact with his staff. Dr. David Halpern unfortunately shares the same last name and a Tampa location, so followers of Tiffany are getting confused.
