I had a great haircut with Joann. She told me her previous experience was working in New York for 30 years and it shows in her skill. I walked in and showed her 3 photos of Park Jihyo from TWICE and she gave me exactly that hair cut. She even asked my specific preferences with the bob style and previewed changes to give me an idea of the look. She was great to talk to and is a great listener. She did a wet cut, no shampoo, and a quick blowout. About 45 minutes. I will be back for my trims and styling. Go treat yourself here! -

Ive been a customer of Artistic Cuts (namely Sue) since she used to be located at the 34th St Plaza. Theres a plethora of reasons why I continue to go back to Sue after all this time. Shes consistent, quick, and she does a great job. Typically they are busier on weekends and Mondays and will post any days they are not open. -

Both me and my mother got our haircut. I have never had a faster haircut, which never happens. She did it dry and my hair turned out exactly how I wanted. They were polite yet didn’t pry too much. We give it a 10/5 -

Joanne is ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!! Shes been a hairstylist in NYC and recently just moved to Gainesville and I feel blessed to have met her! She is immensely knowledgeable and gave me insights about my hair and hair type which I never knew about before. Not only that but she truly gave such loving and Motherly vibes and imparted the most valuable wisdom to me about life! I went in for a haircut but left feeling so inspired as our conversation was something I really needed to hear. I genuinely appreciate her time and work from the bottom of my heart and will definitely be returning for my hair needs. Su and Tweety are also very wonderful hair stylists and I am very glad they have such a wonderful team put together! -

I really miss my previous hair cutter back in south Florida. My hair had gotten long, and the ends were pretty split. Went and got my hair cut with a woman named Twe, who was super sociable and very sweet. She looked at the reference photo that I fished up on the net and cut my hair in literally 10-15 minutes, bangs and all. I don’t know much about hair, so I can’t tell if what I chose was an easy job or not, but she did a great job in such little time. I’m happy, and I’d recommend her for sure. $25 well spent. -

I am so glad I decided to give this hair salon a try. The place is inviting and clean, and there is no smell of food, contrary to what another reviewer had said. I went on a Saturday afternoon and there were 3 hair-stylists available. There was no line, and I had a good haircut. -

Sue has been cutting my hair since she first opened in 2001. I can always trust her. She now cuts the hair of my two sons and does a great job with the kids. BJ is always ready to wrangle them in as well if they start to get out of hand. -

Thuy N. was my stylist- this was the first professional cut ive had done in 4 years or so (im absolutely terrified of hair cuts) so I was very nervous, but it needed to be done. Thuy did such a fantastic job! Kudos to the entire staff for being so friendly and accomodating (they got me in last minute on a late Monday evening) and providing me with an affordable and beautiful cut! 10/10 would recommend. -

I was able to get a same day appt. to get a full highlight. My hair stylist, B.J., did a fabulous job highlighting my light brown hair to a beautiful blonde. Ive been wanting to get my hair done for a long time and Im glad I came top this very friendly salon. I will be coming back to see B.J. for my regular highlights (touch ups) when needed. -
