I absolutely love this place and the owner. My daughter and I are from Birmingham Al and we both have sister locs.Someone recommended Birdy to me and I’m so happy they did. The salon itself is relaxing and peaceful full of beautiful art and holistic. Birdy did an amazing job on both of our sister locs. We now have a new consultant. If you have Sisterlocks Birdy is your girl.

I can garentee that you too will agree that your experience at Crowns of Glory is exceptional. From the moment you enter the door you are greeted by the owner with not only the warmth and welcome of a long time companion but one who wishes to serve you with a sense of urgency and compassion. Despite the fact that the owner is an expertise and well versed in natural hair treatment.She is genuine and honest. She is not only concerned for your Crown but also you spirit. While seat at her chair she console counsel and nurtures not just your scalp but she Refines the soul.Its like coming home from being away for a long time. You are refreshed rejuvinate and revive . I am so excited to have started my locks (sisterlocks) journey with Birdy!! She is so incredibly knowledgeable and does stellar work!! The environment that she provides is safe, warm and welcoming. All things I look for as an African American Queer woman. I am in excellent care and I am so thankful!!

Birdy is fabulous! Such a kind, patient and thoughtful soul. Not to mention extremely talented at what she does. She established and maintained my sisterlocks for almost a year. So glad I took the plunge, and like many others who are now “loc’d in”, wish I had done it sooner. Extremely happy I took the journey with Birdy and I highly recommend her for any and all of your natural hair care needs (locks, etc.)Stop reading this and go make your appointment!

Birdie made a two day loc installation experience incredible her customer service was amazing. She catered to my every need making sure I was comfortable and relaxed the whole time . Every strain of hair to every part was precise she is takes passion in her work and very OCD.. I made the best the decision choosing her.. she is the only one listed on sisterlocs website as certified in Gainesville Florida

If you are looking for professional and quality service...look no further. I first went to Crowns of Glory for some two strand twists, I felt very comfortable immediately. Fast forward to a month later, Im getting micro locs. Birdie has been wonderful since I began my loc journey. it has been seven months and I get compliments everywhere.

Thi is what my husband says any time I come backfrom the Crowns of Glory Studio.My wife comes home with the most gorgeous and intricate hairdo from Crowns of Glory. I wish Mrs. Birdy could work her magic on me. I’m just a bit jealous 😁.
