    Being the unscheduled shambling walk-in I tend to be, I notice and am told there were others sitting and waiting for their spot in the queue and that the only seat available was between the both of them. So, fresh fresh off of work, I was about to just turn around and maybe try another location, however the staff here was so friendly and welcoming that I kinda just sat down, before I knew it I was getting the basic government job haircut that I went in for. Im not saying there is no salon out there thats better or that I found some form of higher power during my experience, Im just saying for $19 I asked for a basic cut, got that and then some, didnt hate the vibe, and was in and out in less than 30. My ex-wife rated it a 2 stars out of 5 stars but I rate her an un out of employed, which of course I base my rating on the scientific evidence that one haircut makes $30 an hour and the other makes poor decisions in Orlando for free, which the rules say adds 3 stars to her rating making it a 5 star rating. Wowsers, so nice of her. Anyway, thank you for cutting my hair and letting me go home, 5/5 cut me like that again.

    I came in and was seen by Cricket, she did so good. She was kind, understanding, and boosted my confidence a bit. I highly recommend her.I normally go to private salons so I was a little worried but it was definitely worth it

    I recently took my daughter for a haircut, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. As a dad, it’s always a bit nerve-wracking to trust someone new with your kid’s hair, did an amazing job. She really took the time to listen to what we wanted, and the end result was even better than we expected. My daughter left with a big smile on her face, and so did I.

    I’ve been living in Florida for 3 years this month and in all that time wasn’t able to find someone to cut my hair the way I asked. Jay at Great Clips was fantastic. Did exactly what I asked. She’s friendly, the salon in neat and the price was great. Go see Jay, she’s awesome.

    My go to for hair cuts in Gainesville. Inexpensive and very kind workers. Occasionally they get busy, but that’s not the worker’s fault. Check in online and you’ll always be at the front of the line. Great place!

    I used the online check-in, so I didnt have to wait too long, and as a returning customer they had my preferences stored so I didnt have to spend much time explaining what I wanted. My stylist was pleasant enough and I like the results, so overall a very good experience. Not giving it five stars only because for me there needs to be something extraordinary to rise to that level.

    This is an updated rating from my last review. Despite having previously having a negative experience, I thought I would give them another try. The customer service was good, and she did a decent job on my hair for what I asked for. I only knocked off a star because she didnt take the time to dry or style my hair, and the place was pretty much empty. I mean, thats just courtesy on a stylist end.

    Angela and Leona are the #1 stylists at this location. I’ve been a few times and never walked out as happy as I did today. Leona has charisma, amazing customer service, and had me laughing the entire cut. Thank you so much for the great visit ladies! We will be coming back :)

    I went to Great Clips today and had a great experience. My family has a couple of beauticians in it, so Ive been lucky enough to have free haircuts my whole life. Carlos was very understanding and patient as I tried to explain the haircut I desired. Everything turned out amazing and I will definitely be coming back.

    Best place to get a cut.. Kyle is the best of the best! She always gives me the cleanest cuts! I get complimented all the time on it.. I will never go to another stylist again! I may just move with her if she ever does! Please dont leave ever Kyle!

    My wife and I went to Great Clips for the first time last week so she could get a trim. We met Angie for the first time. Angie listened to everything my wife wanted and did exactly what she asked. Then I figured I could let a little trim on my layers, which turned out to be the BEST haircut Ive had in years. I got compliments all weekend! We will definitely be back to see Angie in the future.

    I went to a boutique barber shop thinking it would be better for my son who has a disability, but he likes this place better. They are no frills, really quick / efficient, and they dont make a fuss about anything. They treat everyone the same (really nice) and just give a haircut, in & out. We come all the way across town to go to the friendly people here.

    Outstanding customer service by the friendly staff everytime Ive gone in there. Which is every 2-3 weeks for about 8 years now. I ask for Katie every time, but you will be happy in any of the other chairs. Theyre all great as the name claims.

    Katie just gave me one of the best haircuts I have ever had. I am so glad I was referred here by my friend. My old long hair to a short pixie was not easy and you took 10 years off my appearance.Very well done. I shall return for more fast, efficient, excellent treatment.6/23/2021Well, Katie did it again. Cut very long hair into a short cut… not quite a pixie but fabulous.This time old age gave her a lot less to work with and more difficulty. She came through like the champ she is. Once agin I look 10 years younger. (Wish I could go everyday till she ‘youthened’ me to 20 again… lol.)Thanks, Katie, for you expertise.

    Best Staff Ever! I have been coming here off and on for five years now. They always do an excellent job. The staff is friendly and very attentive to what you are looking for in a haircut. I would recommend this place to anyone! You will not be disappointed.
