    Oh my gosh Sierra was amazing. I have been paying for higher priced haircuts and havent gotten what I wanted and I found Sierra through a friend who has gone to her for 2 years she is AMAZING. She cut just like I asked showed me new products to keep my hair looking nice and was so friendly. Stop by and see Sierra on 39th you wont be sorry.

    Really Impressed with my hair cut. Hard a long hair that was getting tangled, (thick hair issues)—Gary was nice and professional, and with a very little (if any) instructions—he gave me a great haircut. Pricing is excellent for the weekends, as always. I recommend Great Clips. Go Gary!

    Great experience this morning for my two daughters. They both needed fresh hair cuts and we were able to walk right in after they opened and be seen within 10 minutes. Prices were great, and both girls had sweet and attentive stylists. As soon as we walked out my oldest said “we are coming back here again right?” so safe to say we will be back.

    Ive been to this location a handful of times and always left happy. The last time in particular I was very impressed with Beverly, shes great at what she does and knew exactly how I wanted my hair cut even though I didnt do a great job at describing it. I also appreciate that theyre open relatively late on weeknights, for those of us who work late.

    I had Lydia and she was absolutely fantastic! I’m a nervous college student and she was very friendly and made me very comfortable. The haircut was great and she took her time to make it absolute perfection! I couldn’t be happier! I’ll definitely be back

    I get a very simple haircut here every 6 weeks. Always good staff and today Lydia cut my hair and I noticed the talent when I looked in the mirror. She was very efficient, friendly, and skilled. Will probably request her in the future. 😁

    I wasted $240 on a cut for the New Year by a stylist and went here to have it fixed. I looked like a proper nob head! Not only was Kelly helpful, but she was also fun and made it work! Box Dye and Great Clips for me from now on, also, they bring the people from Takachali or the old folks home here and while I was waiting for my appointment, I watched them treat them with such kindness and respect. Really endearing and so sweet!

    Shay cut my hair, and it was genuinely life-changing. As someone who identifies as non-binary, getting a haircut is often a very scary experience. Shay was the nicest, most laidback stylist I have ever had, and I have never had a haircut that made me feel so comfortable and affirmed. I have been to my fair share of bad Great Clips, and was truthfully upset when I found that this was the only place open. I desperately wanted a haircut anyway, and I was VERY pleasantly surprised. Honestly, this is one of the best cuts I’ve ever had! Super affordable, too! :)

    This was one of the very best experiences Ive had in years. Amazing energy, great music, and the Lady (so sad I forgot name) was truly a wonderful woman. She listened and adjusted my cut to fit what I had asked for. Just wonderful.

    My mom and i both needed trims & it wasn’t busy at all on a Sunday afternoon. Kay, i believe that was her name, was super nice & told me all about tea tree shampoo and how its good for dry scalp. She cut about 4 inches off, thinned out my hair, and did an amazing job. If you get your hair washed there, make sure to ask if you want it dried. My mom and i left there with wet hair, but it was no biggie because it was raining anyways lol.

    Friendly people. I used the web site to get in the queue so when I arrived at the shop, thru took me right in, no wait.My wife loved the haircut I came home with so a win all the way around 😊. I will be back!Update:. Still great! Friendly and efficient.

    Gay is true gem! I am so very excited to have found her! I have never left her chair feeling less than beautiful! She blows the socks off the high priced salon divas with her artistic ability and goes above and beyond for her clients. Her warmth and compassion shine through in her ability to listen to what you want & give you the best version of yourself!

    Some of the best staff and prices in Gainesville. Walk-ins are welcome and wait times are generally reasonable. Love my haircut from Katie. The hairdressers are also very personable and over time, you get to know them.

    Sometimes kindness comes in unexpected places. Today, it came from an ordinary hair cutting place.My dads been wanting a haircut for a month now, but the nursing homes between barbers and my mom cant load his wheelchair into the car by herself. Today she gave in and called the place he always got his hair cut before -- Great Clips -- to ask if someone could help her with the wheelchair.When she called, she got Katie, who always cut his hair before he got sick. Katie remembered him! Instead of just agreeing to help with his chair, she offered to come over to the nursing home and cut his hair there, and worry about payment later. Ah-maz-ing.Gainesville folks, if you like thoughtful people cutting your hair, go see Katie at the Millhopper Great Clips.

    Its kind of a risky thing; youll either get a great hairstylist or an awful one, but usually its a great one. The staff is also super kind and family-like. Very cheap, and overall, I recommend!
