    I had the pleasure of having my hair done by Sali :) she is so down to earth. Due to health issues, my hair had been quite neglected for some time. She graciously walked me through every step of my haircut, and explained what she was doing in detail. I will definitely be going back!

    Everyone Ive been to at Salon @ 618 has been fantastic. I most recently saw Haley, and she gave me the best cut, highlights, and style I think Ive ever had. Its nice to find someone who knows how to cut, work with, and style my curls, and Haley was very mindful with the coloring to not damage my fine hair. I felt like a million bucks leaving the salon and have gotten so many compliments. My hair has never looked better!

    Sali is the best! After receiving quite literally the worst haircut of my life from a different stylist at a different salon, I was able to book an emergency appointment with Sali to get it fixed. Not only did she explain step by step what she was doing to try and fix my choppy layers, she also taught me ways to style my new and unexpected haircut. The end product was much better than I could have hoped for, and I feel so much better about my hair. Sali was so SO kind and I am so appreciative of her and her work. Definitely worth the visit!! I will absolutely be returning!

    I have always hated getting my hair cut because I never feel like anyone gets it right so I go like 6 months between. I randomly decided to get a haircut from Michelene at one point and Ill never go to anyone else again. I receive an amazing haircut every single time and shes such a fun person to sit with and talk. I finally feel comfortable getting consistent haircuts and its all thanks to her.

    Stefanie was super sweet and professional. She was very attentive and skilled. She was outgoing and easy to talk to. She asked questions and gave suggestions for my hair type.     Jenn is attentive and wonderful! Had a great experience my first time here, I will definitely be coming back to see her. Salons normally give me tons of anxiety, I have a ton of thick long red hair and Jenn knew exactly what to do and how to make me comfortable.     Thank you, Abbi!! I’m new to town and needed a new stylist. I’ve had balayage highlights for a few years and was due for a refresh/upgrade. Abbi was INCREDIBLE in every aspect of my visit and service! I’m getting married in a few months and she did a fantastic job helping lighten my hair for my wedding events! My hair is very thick and some stylists I’ve had previously (at other salons) have struggled with this…. Abbi had no problem and was so detailed, friendly, and efficient! She knew exactly what I was wanting and understood all the concerns and hair goals I had. I give it a 10/10! I usually only get my hair done maybe 1-2 times a year, but I already booked Abbi again before my wedding so I can have another great refresh before the big day. She was just fantastic to work with and I walked away loving my hair! The salon is super modern and trendy too! Great atmosphere and very glad I found my new salon :)

    Abbi is amazing!I have very long thick hair (past my butt) and I dont go to get my hair done much. I either hate all my haircuts because the stylist cuts too much off or doesnt listen to what I want. I went to Abbi to get a hair trim and highlights and I am so glad I did! She didnt cut too much off, and transformed my hair with beautiful highlights.Abbi is talented, professional, polite and reasonably priced! I am very picky when it comes to my hair (I liked it the 1st day, hated it for 2 days, and now I love it lol) but Abbi did such a wonderful job and my hair looks and feels so much better!I DEFINITELY recommend her and I know that I will be going to get my hair done a lot more now that I found Abbi! I absolutely loved my experience and cant wait to go back again! Thank you again Abbi!P. S. The Salon is also very clean and beautiful. All of the hair stylist I talked to were extremely nice and you definitely feel at home here!!

    I should have written this review weeks ago but let me just say that Brittany Caniff did AMAZING highlights, color and haircut . I had initially gone in for a haircut/ blow dry about 5-6 weeks ago. This was my first visit with Brittany. I did my research and read all the reviews and I could not be happier. She really listened and then gave me a fantastic haircut. After that I knew she would be the right fit for my color/ highlights. I almost fell asleep while she was doing my highlights. It was so relaxing and she clearly knew her color. I had 100% confidence in her and she did not disappoint. My color turned out SOOOOOOOO beautiful. All I can say is Brittany is a true professional, she knows her color and it was really relaxing for me to just let someone have complete control & just knew it would be great. I have had countless compliments on my hair. Establishing a new hairdresser is not a relationship that you take for granted. Believe me you won’t regret entrusting your hair to Brittany. Thank you Brittany! You’re my new hairdresser!

    I got a haircut from Michelene and she is super considerate. I really enjoyed meeting her and HIGHLY recommend her! She constantly asked if I was comfortable and has such an adorable personality with lots of interesting stories. I showed her a picture and asked for layers with curtain bangs. My hair looks just like the pictures I showed her. I never got curtain bands before, but I honestly LOVE how it looks! Everything looks super blended and my hair is SO soft. Also, the staff is so friendly! I felt super welcomed and really enjoyed my interaction with everyone here

    I’ve been seeing Janice for over a year now and she is amazing. She got me from a severely brassy, grown out mop to giving me gorgeous toned highlights at every visit. I have super thick long hair and she does a great and efficient job. She’s also super personable and easily to talk to. I look forward to catching up with her. The salon is really nice and a place where you’d like to come back again to again. 10/10

    Amazing haircut and toner here for an incredible price! Highly recommend you go to Jodi because she gives great advice and will make you feel like a new person! I came after letting my hair grow out for 5 months and I had a vague idea of what I wanted. She made it come to life! Loved her friendly attitude and conversation as well!     Renaila was absolutely wonderful and did such a great job! I can never get my hair as silky and smooth as she got it. I have 3b curly hair so it’s not easy! She also gave me a lot of realistic tips of what products to buy and how to do my hair myself! I will definitely be back to her for maintenance. I also only waited a few days to get an appointment whereas trying to call other places were a 2+ week wait. 😊

    Haley has been my hairdresser for 4 years and I’ve had nothing but great service and professionalism from her. She always does an awesome job and is a great communicator and very generous with her talent. I have a public facing job where I have to have “reliable” hair and she has helped me with great cut and color. I so appreciate her !

    Salon 618 is an upscale hair salon. Everyone there is very friendly and personable. My stylist Abbi regularly colors and styles my hair.If you are looking for a new stylist I recommend Abbi. She is very professional and always very sweet

    Lexi is absolutely amazing!! She listened to everything I wanted and I left with my hair looking amazing. I haven’t felt this amazing in my hair in a long time.she did a cut, full set of highlights and style. She is very knowledgeable, and right when you sit down and start talking to her it’s like she’s been your friend for years! I’m so glad I finally found a stylist in Gainesville that I will continue to go to.

    I havent had my haircut in many years but when I met the owner of salon at 618 I just had to go and visit I didnt get to sit with Stephanie like I had planned but I was scheduled with Micheline. I did get to see Stephanie and it was nice to see an owner actually working in her own business. Micheline listened to my thoughts about my hair and style, she made me feel extremely comfortable in new surroundings. She was cracking jokes the entire time to keep me comfortable and explained everything she was doing. I highly recommend salon at 618 along with Stephanie and Micheline.

    Sabra Is amazing! She did my hair cut few months back for the first time. I loved that cut, I think that was the best that I had so far in last many years. Every single person that I met in the following two to three weeks kept asking me where did I get the cut from. In a nutshell, I will go back to Sabra always from now on.She is very positive, loves to smile and talk. Most importantly she takes time to care about the hair cut. She is amazing, an easy 5 star from me :)

    I got my hair cut and blow dried by Haley for the first time after reading Google reviews. Im always nervous to let someone new to me cut my hair, but took the risk and Im so glad I did.     When I first visited Salon at 618 over a year ago to get my hair cut by Brittany, I was hesitant because I was getting a pixie cut, which was very bold for me.     I had tried a new salon for a highlight and she over bleached, melted and destroyed my long hair. On my 1st appt with Sheena she warmed the color back up, conditioned it really good then gave me a cut and style that made me love you hair again. Today I went back to Sheena for lowlighting and a trim. As always she did an amazing job. She is such a sweetheart and fun to talk with.     Nice salon, its well kept. Front desk was kind and greets you as you walk in. They do sell products. You can set up a consultation and meet a stylist that fits you. Or even go on there website and book your time! If Sali is available get in with her shes amazing!!

    I havent set foot in a hair salon in a couple of years, my last time being unsatisfactory. They gave me bangs, which I was nervous about, but they came out so great!     I chose this place because it is close to my job and I needed somewhere more convenient. I was offered a same day appointment with a hairstylist. I had a root color and trim. My hairstylist was Kimba and she was terrific. I felt at ease with a new stylist. Everything was a a good experience. I appreciate Kimba and the staff there and I will be back.

    Salon At 618 is my go-to hair salon! From color to cut, 618s provides superb customer service and many amazing stylists. Ive been seeing stylist, Stefanie, for over a decade and in that time Ive changed my hair in many ways - from red highlights to caramel, from short to shorter. Add more texture? Sure why not. Grow this out? Heres how to do it and still have hair you love. What I appreciate most about Stefanie is her willingness to entertain my ever-changing requests in hairstyles while also informing me of important things like the health of my hair or how color will fade over time so I can make the best decision. Have there been times when the color hasnt been exactly what I hoped? Sure, but when I tell her what I dont like about it, she makes the change to ensure I leave happy. And I always do!I know many of the other stylists at the salon (SHOUTOUT to Liz and Heidi who, in addition to Stefanie, are stylists to my mother, sister, tons of friends and co-workers).The salon is modern with local artwork on display, current trend products, and clean space. The front desk manager, Jen, is always rockin a smile and friendly voice when I call/get my confirmation messages for upcoming appointments. Im always asked if Id like a beverage - water, soda, wine oh yea! The extra touches matter at least to me.Sure, theres dozens of alternative salon choices in Gainesville. Do yourself a favor and consider choosing stylists that genuinely care about your hair, making a lasting professional relationship with you as their client, and truly want you to leave feeling cared for. This is always what keeps me coming back.

    Concy (whom I highly recommend) was my colorist. She did foiled low lights with Goldwell color, as well as the more common highlights. My hair is super coarse and thick, thus the foil process took many hours. But Concy was never deterred and was a consummate professional throughout the appointment. It turned out really, really well; transformative even. I left with exactly the color/contrast/depth I was hoping to achieve. She obviously has experience dealing with long, unruly locks - and I’ve already scheduled my future appointment with her, in which we shall conquer the cut!

    Ruthie Arad made me look like a million bucks . I had such a great experience. She went above and beyond to make me happy and give me the haircut and hair colour I wanted .
