    I loved the decorations, I loved the attitude of the stylist, and loved my haircut. While I didnt know exactly what I wanted at first, but my stylist (Deborah) was vary nice about it and helped me choose something that would fit my face and make me happy. I think she also took social cues vary well. I will definitely go here again, and I will recommend it.

    Susan is a wonderful stylist! I prefer low-maintenance hair, and Susan gives me subtle sun-kissed highlights that grow out beautifully and a cut that looks great even when I do nothing but wash-n-wear. She really listens to what her clients want and then delivers. Definitely recommended!

    Susan was awesome! I came in for an appointment we scheduled for 3pm but day light savings messed us up and she squeezed me in anyway. Great customer service! Also I had extremely long, easily tangled hair. She listened to my concerns and gave me advice all during my visit. I have always bounced around to different salons because I never liked the previous cuts. She even noticed the wrong pieces that I asked multiple hairstylists to fix. I love love love this cut by Susan! Definitely will recommend her to everyone and will go back myself!!

    This place is the cutest!!! I love the atmosphere / decor and I am SO glad I found a great stylist and salon that I am confident in committing to now that I’ve become pretty settled in Gainesville. Susan did a fantastic job with my curly, somewhat thin hair which I’m usually very picky about and shy to trust stylists with! I loved the Moroccan line she used on me and would highly recommend her services in a heartbeat. The price was what I expected—I’m always happy to pay for a quality job & it was an added bonus knowing I was supporting a local/small business (a win/win for everyone!) Thank you Susan!!!

    Susan was recommended by a coworker almost 8 years ago and I’m so happy. She does a wonderful job cutting and coloring my baby fine hair. I moved from Gainesville but schedule appointments when home to visit family. I regularly get compliments on my hair color and how healthy my hair looks 😍.

    Susan has been cutting and coloring my hair for 12 years -- ever since it grew back after chemotherapy -- and we have found a style that gets rave reviews. Women have stopped me in Hobby Lobby and Outback and the mall and more and asked, Who does your hair? and one time, a guy in line at Publix told me how stylish my hair is. Susan and I joke that I am her walking billboard. I have sent several friends to Susan, and they adore her as much as I do. My mom and sister also go to Susan for cuts and color. Susan rocks, and her shop is cozy and quiet and relaxing. I would not recommend anyone other than Susan !!

    Loved the atmosphere, the decor and the cleanliness of the salon. Susan did a great cut and color! Great experience and good conversation. She really pampers you and makes you feel like a million bucks. Cant wait for my next appointment.

    Susan was great! I love the hair cut she gave me. Just wish she told me hair prices do vary depending on the length of the hair otherwise definitely recommend her and will be back!

    Susan has been doing my hair for 17 years and I will not go anywhere else. She is a color master and has fixed my home coloring jobs for me. She keeps me stylish when I come in and say...I think I want bangs or I think I need to grow it out. I cant say enough good!

    Susan is a life saver I moved to Gainesville over a year ago and tried many different places, and I was never happy with the end result. Finally found Susan and her shop and I couldn’t be happier. Does amazing work, always ask how you want it done and doesn’t just assume how you want it.     Susan has done my hair for years. I wouldn’t go to anybody else for coloring technique and all kinds of hair services. The Salon is always upbeat and yet relaxed. I recommend Stax Hair Salon to everybody!

    I cannot say enough good things about these ladies! I have been going to Sara for about a year now and she has always understood and worked with me as a team to make sure I truely enjoy my hair. My hair is very thick and I have to thank her for having the patience to help me get the perfect cut. I would recommend her over and over, thanks Sara!

    I needed to fix a bad balayage that I was unhappy with on short notice, and Sara was Super accommodating! She worked with me to figure out exactly what I wanted and she did an amazing job. The Salon is very cute and everyone was super friendly! Definitely go to Sara if youre in the Gainesville area!!

    Go see Sara H. at Stax! The salon is adorable and conveniently located near 34th Street and University Avenue. Sara is professional and quite talented. She listens, makes great suggestions, and I always leave happy!
