Not only did Paige give me a proper curly cut, she also taught me some things about styling my hair so that I can do it better at home too. I love that. Best haircut experience I’ve had.

I came here as a first time client and im staying as a PERMANENT client. At first I was so nervous but I got Saige as my stylist and she is the most kind and caring human being EVER. She walked me through everything. At first I wanted highlights but i made a HUGE change and decided to do dark brown and purple. Saige not only talked with me throughout the whole 6 hours I was there but she made me feel more than just another client. It felt like I was getting my hair done by one of my best friends. Saige has so much talent and potential. I will always refer everyone I know to her because she blew me away. My birthday is on Sunday and I look like 1 million bucks ready to go! This salon is full of very kind people and has amazing customer service and overall provided a luxurious and enjoyable experience. Saige did a wonderful job on my at home bleached hair! She got it all done in one day including color correction/a root smudge and touched it up shortly after and i left with silky hair both times. She is so sweet and even gave me some samples to keep my hair healthy! 10/10 ask for Saige!

Laurenlin Carilill was a fantastic stylist who truly gave me the hair style of my dreams! I went from having tired long waves to an adorable pixie which complements my face beautifully. James is the curl guru, and you will not be disappointed. He listens to your concerns and knows exactly what your hair needs. I have fine curly hair which can be a challenging combo since it tends to get weighed down by traditional curly hair products. He does the dry cut for curly hair which makes a huge difference as well as a “curl set” to bring life to your curls. I’ve received so many compliments on my hair since going to see him, and the color is blended and impeccable. Please go see James if you are looking for some curl guidance and you will walk out looking amazing, guaranteed!

James Joyce does an amazing color and blowout! I have thick hair and he made quick work of it too!Paige is my regular stylist and she formulated my color and does my curly hair cuts. She is an expert with curly hair!Hair Peace is very accommodating. The stylist I was booked with was out sick, but I needed my hair done for a weekend event so I could not reschedule another day. Hair Peace works hard to find somebody to fill in if at all possible. They put me with James and he did a phenomenal job! My blowout held up for a 3 day weekend (with some minor touch-ups & protective care). Also the salon team helps each other out and creates a really positive, fun atmosphere.

Anaya does a fantastic job with my blonding every single time without fail. I have a hard time articulating what I’m looking for when it comes to my color and cut but she is patient and receptive throughout the service. I often have questions regarding how to take care of my hair when I’m not in the salon or how to style it and she takes the time to explain and demonstrate what she’s doing so I can replicate the style at home. The entire salon staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming each and every time I have an appointment. I drive all the way from Gainesville each time and it’s 100% worth it. I highly recommend their services to everyone I meet!!

Enjoyed a Custom Curl Cut by James. I have a thick head of fine, curly hair. Going in before the haircut, my hair felt very heavy and really weighed me down. This time of year, I tend to throw my hair up in a ponytail because my hair feels so hot when I wear it down. The downside to putting it in a ponytail is it stretches out the curls, plus it is boring, so it is a battle. But after my Custom Curl Cut from James, my hair feels so light and the shape is great. I can even wear it down in this Florida summer heat! I am thrilled with my hair! Go to Hair Peace, you wont be disappointed. Thank you, James!

I had such an incredible experience with Anaya recently! This was my first haircut in almost a year, and first haircut in an actual salon in close to 2 years! Anaya was so attentive at listening to what I did and didn’t want. She truly took the time to hear me and even offered suggestions in the areas where I couldn’t make a solid decision. She even took the time while styling my hair to review home care with me keeping in mind that I needed a more low-maintenance routine. I love my haircut from Paige! This was my first time to actually go into a hair salon and get a professional haircut . I have curly hair and she was very great at explaining to me what she was doing and gave me suggestions on how to keep up with my curly hair. Whenever I get my haircut by anyone else I always felt like there was miscommunication and I was not being listened to. I’ve been seeing James Joyce for a few years now. When I first started seeing him, I was platinum blonde and he immediately started to tell me the science behind the formula he chose for my blonde and why based on what my body chemical features were (having a gold ring around my eye, etc). He helped me maintain a platinum blonde style with minimal damage for almost two years before I decided to switch it up on him and wanted to dye it black. Hes not only a wonderful and heavily experienced stylist, but a beautiful person that has developed into a friend! I feel so loved and welcomed every time I walk through the salon’s doors. You can tell immediately how experienced James is, and just how much work and dedication he’s put into his education immediately.

Love this place. Ive been twice. First time I had Delaney and she was able to give me the exact color I was looking for. She is amazing. The second time I went in for a DevaCurl cut and color retouch with Brittany. First off when I found out Hair Peace offered this service I was ecstatic. If you have curly hair you must get this cut. It will change your life. But back to Brittany she was able to save my hair. Gave me the haircut I deserved. Now my curls are so much easier to manage. Last week I decided during a manic episode that I was as talented as a hairstylist and James saveeeeed my hair. He was able to get me in on his schedule the next day after I called. I went in for a color correction, ready to spend an arm and a leg. James not only saved my hair from needing unnecessary bleaching to fix it, he also went out of his way to save me money and achieve the look I was attempting on my own. Also wanna shoutout Megan, who was assisting him. Both of them were very nice, non judgmental, and had me walking out feeling like a queen. 10/10 recommend.

He cuts my hair dry and in its natural pattern, walks me through a wash and styling, and then adjusts the cut once it has re-set. The process is done with great care. Hes styled it from very short to its current shoulder length and each cut has been flattering.Highly recommend his curly cuts to any curly haired person, and especially to people like myself who need help getting started on a healthy routine.

I love my haircut! I’ve been salon hopping for a couple years trying to find one I love and I finally found it! I happened upon Hair Peace through a Google search, saw that they had good reviews and they were open on a Monday (which is a big plus because my day off from work is Monday and not many salons are open). They had a last minute cancellation so they were able to see me same day.Kelly was my stylist and she was amazing! I only got a haircut (plus shampoo and blow dry) but she asked me a lot of questions about what I wanted and what look I was going for. She kept me informed through the whole process and explained why she was cutting my hair certain ways and what she was trying to achieve. I never felt like it was a “trust the process” situation 😅 She was very thorough, friendly, knowledgeable, and really took her time. I didn’t feel rushed through. This was my first time going here. I have has trims in past years but needed a good cut since my curly-wavy hair has been unmanageable for a few years. Tired of wearing it up. I was very nervous. After 5 minutes discussing my goal with Kelly- I felt very relaxed. Throughout the appointment Kelly explained everything she was going to do, the reason, and made sure I was comfortable with the entire process. I am thrilled with my curly cut- my Husband and Mom love it also and said it makes me look younger! Jessica also fit me in for an eyebrow wax and tint. I had not done a tint before but love it as my eyebrows barely show. This was also the first time I had an eyebrow wax that was not painful! I also have Rosacea and Jessica suggested a product line to try and the spa she uses for facials that help with this issue. I am so thankful I did not chicken out and cancel. Hair Peace is very clean, they have it decorated and laid out so it is beautiful and comfortable. The “ icing on the cake” is that every person I encountered working there was friendly and very helpful.

Kelly did a magnificent job on my curly cut & style. She was super sweet and knowledgeable. My hair looks great and I see a curl pattern I havent seen in YEARS. My hair is bouncy, and has the prettiest curls. One big problem I face with hair stylists and having curly hair is layering. She layered my hair in a way that can only be obtained with a specific dry cut method and it came out wonderfully. I was afraid Id never be able to have layers and she proved me wrong. She listened to all my concerns and gave solutions and then taught me which products worked best on my hair type and how to solve my hair problems the best way possible then turned around and put it into action. My stylist used to be Savannah before she moved & now i book with LETTY; she’s wonderful & really listens to me to achieve the look I want and advises which routes to take that won’t completely destroy my hair in the process. I have very curly & thick hair, so finding a knowledgeable stylist was always a struggle, but since Ive been coming here Ive had no complaints & i feel comfortable with my stylist. Letty also does protective styles which is a plus ! Ive gotten passion twists from her and they were absolutely beautiful. Right away I knew that doing business with her was going to be effortless. She knew exactly the amount of stress I was under because she was in the middle of planning her own wedding, set just a few weeks after mine! She listened to my ideas and provided fantastic suggestions to make them a reality. She is quirky and fun and I enjoyed working with her.

I had an amazing experience, I had just moved into the area and was looking to freshen up my look before starting my new job. The staff was incredibly friendly and I enjoyed getting pampered while I was there! Its been roughly 12 weeks since my visit there and my hair still looks super healthy and my color still looks fresh. Overall, you are paying for the professional service they provide they seem to put an emphasis on the quality of the product they use and I can tell, even three months later. 10/10 would recommend and do recommend as much as possible!

I visited this salon for the first time today, and was blown away.I was taken care of by Kelly..She was very attentive, and truly cared when I described the vision I had for my hair. (I have a pixie cut and am pretty particular of how I want it cut.)She brought my vision to life and then some. Everything about my visit was wonderful from start to finish.. Starting all the way from entering the front door, to the receptionist desk, to the chair and cut, to the lovely conversations, and even my hair wash felt like I was getting pampered at a spa. I was not even planning on getting my hair cut today but had been telling myself to do it for the past few months but, after getting my brows waxed I figured why not. Through a quick google search I found this gem of a place only half a mile from where I was at. I saw there was a parking spot right at the front of their door and took it as a good sign to move forward with it. I arrived as a walk-in with long, lifeless, curly hair that had not been cut in 5 years and within minutes they had me seated in a chair. Paige was my assigned hair dresser and when I say she performed a complete 180 on my hair I mean it. She was compassionate during our consultation, took in everything I said and, asked all the right questions. She is absolutely remarkable with curly hair, a true master of her trade, I honestly forgot my hair was capable of being what it is now. I will definitely be making it a point to see her on the regular again.If you are looking for a place that you can trust with your curly locks, this is the place and Paige is your girl!

I had a wonderful experience with Jessica. I am extremely comfortable with her waxing me. She always does an amazing job waxing and filling in my eyebrows. My nose and upper lip waxes are always done with care and special attention to remove unwanted hair. Brazilians arent pleasant, but Jess consistently does a fantastic job and puts me at ease. I wouldnt trust anyone else with my waxing needs after being with her for the past 4 years! The receptionist was super cheerful and had a welcoming personality. I also met Bruce who was extremely friendly and came over to introduce himself as I was checking out.

So, this was the first time in my life that Ive decided to get a Deva Cut. A Deva Cut is a dry haircut of curly hair in its most natural state.I have naturally curly hair and will go half a decade without getting it cut or trimmed because of previous, traumatic haircuts at subpar, chain salons (think: the cheap haircuts). My hair always looked so bad after the cut that I would be embarrassed being in public for a month or so until it grew back out.This time I decided to try the deva cut because the split ends were getting worse and making my hair thin and uneven. After some research Ive decided to chance it and make an appointment the day of at Hair Peace.I took the last appointment of the day (7 pm) and got a call half hour prior if I can come in 30 minutes later. No problem. I was there at 7:30 and my stylist is Tiffany, but she didnt get to me until after 8 pm (which is after hours for them). She apologized a lot and explained a previous customer came in with really long hair, which pushed all her appointments. Even though it was after hours, she did not rush the cut and listened to what I wanted done. She took her time cutting my hair and it looked great, but it was really late to get a shampoo, treatment and style. She asked me if I was willing to come back the next day for that and I had no problem, since I had no plans (Im lame lol).She blocked off a whole hour the next day for me to come back, and of course I did come back. The shampoo, treatment and style was really relaxing, almost spa like. My hair looked great with shoulder length curls and it looked fuller as the lengths were all even.It was very pricey for a deva cut (88.00 at the time of this review) but well worth it. Hair Peace do have a few stylists who have completed training/certification to do a Deva Cut, and Tiffany did a wonderful job on my hair. I now found the place to get my hair cut when the time comes again.

James Joyce performed a color correction on me today. My normal stylist is great at cutting hair but just didnt give me the look I wanted as far as color goes. Ill admit, what I wanted is likely eccentric and or unusual. I doubt many stylists get a request for silver hair. Most people seem to be boring and just simply request blonde, highlights, or a color match to hide the grey.Im 32 years old and have mostly black hair on top. The hair on the sides of my head grow in with a very shiny almost metallic silver. I liked that silver hair so much I wanted the hair on top to be silver.James definitely pulled it off and it looks awesome.If youre looking for awesome color he can certainly pull it off.Its no quick process. It took a good three hours. It was worth the time.

After much research, I found Hair Peace Salon and Taylor set me up an appointment with James Joyce. I could not be happier with the results! Besides being an extremely talented curly hair expert, he is a very interesting, caring person. He gave me a DevaCut, where he cuts it dry...and THEN afterwards he washes it. Scott had all the answers to all of my curly questions. Ever since getting my Devacut at Hairpeace, Ive had ridiculous amounts of volume. I went from a 2b to a 3a with the cut, and I feel so much better! Scott was extremely attentive to my requests as well, I said I would be good with 4inches off and he only went 3! Thats pretty unheard of for someone who has 32 hair, stylists always want to chop of 6+ inches of ends.Im definitely coming back, having a Devacut was life changing.
