    Miss Brenda is not only skilled in natural hair (I have thick hair with a course texture), but also a wonderful person to talk to about the things of life! She gave me bouncy curls that remained for one day and then fell very nicely afterwards. I was glad that, with her styling expertise, I was able to maintain my silk press for 2 weeks. I enjoyed getting my hair cared for at Natural Strands and will certainly be returning!

    Very welcoming and professional environment. The stylist, Ms. Brenda, did a wonderful job on my 4b/c hair. She was very informative about how to maintain my silk out and about natural hair in general. Will absolutely be coming back. 👍👍

    This salon always takes good care of my hair. I normally get my hair chrocheted by Toni. She is very nice and has a lot of patience with my hair. My hair density is 180% and is near the middle of my back. I always get compliments about how nice my hair looks. This salon is inside another beauty salon but you cant tell its two different salons.

    Ms. Vessica, has never done me wrong! I’ve been getting my natural 2 strand twist by her for years and still get compliments on it every time! Plus she is great at educating you on proper hair care and tips.

    Today I had Toni do my hair for the first time. She was very gentle with my hair and scalp, and very easy to talk to. She was very informative about the upkeep and general well being about my hair. I definitely found my forever stylist as long as Im in Jacksonville!*Update* Went back to Toni for knotless Braids, first braiding experience that wasnt painful. As always, very gentle with my hair and extremely informative when it came to trimming my ends. See ya in 6 weeks! 💝

    I loved my first time experience at Natural Strands. The ladies were very professional and super kind. My hair dresser was Antoinette and I loved the way she talked me through what she was doing and even gave me advice on haircare and how to grow my hair.     I love Natural strands with my whole heart. In the month since Ive been with them my hair has become manageable and a whole lot healthier. The staff is very knowledgeable in the current styles and trends and very well versed in hair theory. Aside from the knowledgeable staff the atmosphere is so pleasant avid relaxing.     I have been getting my hair styled by the owner of Natural Strands for about 8 years. I have nothing but praise for the owner and her employees. They are very professional, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The hairstyles that clientele wear out of Natural Strands are beautiful. People are constantly asking me who did my hair and would like the shop contact number and location.     Absolutely LOVED my visit! I traveled an hour and it was well worth it. Amber did an Amazing job! She was polite and professional and friendly. I came in nervous about doing my big chop but she put my worries to rest. When she finished, I was very happy with my hair and super excited about the start of my natural journey.

    The service and atmosphere at Natural Strands is exceptional. My stylist, Shinna, is great. She focuses on my hair staying healthy and looking good. Shinna does a great job styling my hair, Im always getting compliments. I highly recommend Natural Strands. The salon is clean and the staff is polite and professional and best of all, I don’t have to be there all day, even if it looks like I was.

    I love natural strands. The red has been cutting my hair I cant even tell you how many years and years now I love the way to cut I Love Your Way my hair looks and feels. I would not let anyone else cut my hair. Atmosphere is wonderfully relaxing yeah the girls that work there but life wasnt very nice take good care of you. I would recommend anyone

    This is my second time coming here and I must say I love it. Everyone is very nice and pleasant and the hair knowledge is unbelievable. There are Natural hair salons where stylists know about hair and apply it to their clients hair and then there are NATURAL HAIR SALONS where stylists not only apply the knowledge they learned about hair to there clients, but also educate there clients as well so they can do a better job of caring for there own hair at HOME. This is really where it matters---AT HOME so when you come in every 6-8 weeks you know youve done a great job because your hairstylist told you whats best for your hair! Thats why I like this place and I believe anybody with natural hair should come here! Even if you think you know everything there is to know about hair (like me:) there is always new ways to make your hair more healthier than its ever been.

    When I walked into the salon, I was really undecided on what I wanted from a natural hairstylist. My hair was so unmanageable, uneven, and dull. I almost talked myself into getting a relaxer, so I could a least comb it. However, after speaking with Brenda (who is absolutely amazing), she suggested a color, trim, and silk out. Wow!! This was definitely a game changer! Brenda was so personable and extremely knowledgeable about caring for natural hair. Everyone in the salon was professional and courteous. Although this was my first experience with a natural hairstylist, my search is over. I will not go any where else and will remain natural for years to come!! Brenda, I cant thank you enough!!!

    Very professional hair salon. I’ve been going to this salon since I moved to Jacksonville, and have been very pleased. They are very military friendly, offering a military discount and specialized hairstyles created with the uniform regulation in mind. They value the health of your hair, and going regularly has allowed my hair to flourish. I go to Shinna, and she is wonderful.

    Great services. Being new to the state of Florida and Jacksonville I was looking for a natural hair salon for my daughter and I. This place came highly recommended by a coworker. I decided to treat my daughter to a day of getting her hair done. Antwanette did an amazing job. She was very knowledgeable and gave me tips on how to take of my daughters hair at home. About a month later I decided to treat myself to a silk wrap with Antwanette. And once again what an amazing job she did.

    10!!! I love the color and cut I received at the salon. The hair wash alone would have made me come back again. The stylists there were very nice and listened to what I said wanted. I liked that they explained each step of what they were doing.

    Natural strands is an amazing salon to visit. All of their staff is knowledgeable of natural hair and they even give you tips to maintain the styles they give you which most places wont take the time out to teach you something about your hair. The environment is very happy and the staff is extremely friendly. I wIll definitely come back here and tell all my friends about it too

    Shinna was great. She can work well with 4c hair and the natural twists she did gave me compliments.They expect people to book service several months in advance and charge cancelation fee if you cant make your appointment.

    My stylist was tieteanna and she was a doll. I had to wait a while due to a quick switch with a client but its a beauty salon so thats just how it goes sometimes. She was very informative about caring for natural hair and Im happy to have her as my guide on my journey to healthier hair. I got a protein treatment followed my deep conditioning treat and updo.

The service was great, the technician was extremely helpful and I really appreciated how she explained everything and made great suggestions to keep my hair healthy. If you are looking to grow your hair and have it as healthy as possible I really recommend this place!

    I’m so glad I found this salon.They’re very professional and pleasant. I wanted to get my hair straightened but I didn’t want to ruin my natural texture, thankfully she used a heat protectant. My stylist, Antoinette, let me know everything she was doing and why. She even told me what to do to maintain my style. I will be going back.

    I wanted locs April 19, 2016 and decided to come here, not only did my locs turn out perfect, but my stylist saved me some money by being honest and telling me that one of the treatments I signed up for I really didnt need, I got my hair colored and locs. I absolutely love this place, I told all my family and friends about Natural Strands and I will continue to come here as long as they are here...very knowledgeable staff, everyone is kind, professional and courteous. I have been a loyal customer for six months and it will stay that way, I have fallin in love with my hair all over again it has started to grow back long and beautiful... Thank you Natural Strands for being awesome!!!!

    My hair goal is to reach waist length, but lately I have been wanting to cut my hair. My stylist said she can fix my desire for a short cut. I was hesitant because I have a lot of hair but she managed to fit all of my hair under a 27 piece and make it look natural and flawless!

    OMG!!!!!!!!! Let me tell y’all something! First of all I made an appointment same day and got seen SAME DAY! Tieteanna Harris did MY SEWN and she put her heart in it🥰 First of all I’m super tender headed and also she EDUCATED me on my hair texture. I WILL be back! If u need a good hair salon that will not only lay your hair but also teach u.. Natural Strands is the place. Also, I’m military and it’s always hard to find a place that also keeps your ‘standards’ in mind👑👑👑

    Great place, this was my daughters 2nd trip. Our stylist, Carla was fantastic. Carla explained everything she was doing while she was doing my daughters first color/2nd silk press. I would recommend this shop to anyone who has natural hair!!!!

    Really great service! Visit Antwanette. She really knows her stuff. Presentation is everything in the kind of work that I do. My hair was in horrible shape a few months ago. After Antwanette put me on a regular regime, my natural strands are no longer tangled the second I take out my braids. I can comb through my fro after a day in the pool. And I always have the confidence I need to handle my business. :)
