    Today, January 3, 2025, the Advantage location on Nyra Street was shorthanded at the check-in/check-out counters. However, Luis, who told me he was a new employee, was doing a great job. He was taking care of checking-in patients, updating their insurance info for the new year. While at the same time he was checking patients out and scheduling their next appointments.What was the most amazing part of Luis doing his job today was, he never lost his smile, had a great attitude, and he never complained. The only reason I knew he was by himself was because I asked him.Advantage, Luis is a keeper! Do not lose him. I believe that people who are doing an excellent job need recognition.Thank you, Luis,.

    We are new patients at this office and everyone has been very responsive. They are on the cautious side which I like. Whenever I or my daughter needs anything, they are quick to take care of it.

    I had a great experience. I went in, the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I was seen by a PA, Sarah. She was very knowledgeable, answered all my concerns, great suggestions. The wait was not long at all. I am very pleased with my visit, I would definitely come back if I had any other concerns.

    Wow! Some of these poor reviews are amazing, because I was treated with excellence! Ive been seen here twice. I was shown to the exam room about two minutes after I checked in. Everyone was smiling and polite. The MA was very pleasant. Jackie and another NP came in, examined me after asking about my concerns and if had had any questions. She treated a few spots that needed attention. I had no pain whatsoever. I was treated with compassion and respect. I made a follow-up appointment on the way out at a time that suited me. The place was clean and organized. I will keep this practice for my dermatology needs!

    The staff was friendly especially the nurse who walked me back to my room to see the doctor. The doctor (I believe) whose name is also Jacquelyn was so nice and professional. Going there was a good experience. I will recommend them to others.

    I saw Nicole Cavignaro for sores forming on my ears. After performing 2 biopsies, I learned they were pressure sores from the way I sleep. She found ear pillows for me on Amazon and it has really helped. Wonderful service and communication. I highly recommend their services.

    Was recently seen by Sarah Amarillo, PA and was really happy with my visit. She listened to all my concerns on my skin checks being that I have had past biopsies come back bad. I left feeling reassured all looked great and that she was thorough in her exam and answering any questions I had and she gave me plenty of recommendations on sunscreens that would be better for me to use in the future.

    I have met with Dr. Perez twice and plan to continue my visits. The doctor is by far, the nicest doctor I have met with excellent bedside manner and highly skilled with a great personality. He is easy to talk to and his staff is exceptional. They entire team seem very caring and highly sensitive to your needs. They make you feel cared for and special.     I recently discovered skin cancer, I was there and received great care. I wont remember everyones names, but the great service started at the reception, the super attentive and friendly attendant, the nurses, the wonderful doctor Jaqueline and the wonderful doctor Pérez where he performed my surgery. In particular, I would like to give a huge thank you to Mr João (manager), who is super attentive, polite and careful with me. Everyone was very professional, helpful and loving.     Very nice and professional staff. Dr Perez is excellent and alway teaching his staff. It makes you feel confident that they are always improving and staying up to date. The office is always clean and on time. My procedure was scheduled very quickly. I recommend this practice without hesitation.

    The staff and the physicians assistant were very professional and compassionate. The physicians assistant answered each of my questions and gave me tips about how to take care of some issues l was concerned about. I will return to this practice; it was a pleasant experience.I have now visited Advantage Dermatology on Nira Street. The practice is all about the patient. The staff and Dr. Perez go the distance to make you feel comfortable. They are compassionate, helpful and professional. The procedures that l had done were totally explained to me and answered every question. I was treated with complete patience and respect. They provided water every day and if the procedure took place from morning until afternoon, they provided me with lunch. I am happy with my results and will return to the practice if l need further procedures. Everyone made my visit an enjoyable experience.

    Beautiful entry way and office. Greeted hello as I walked in and taken back without a long wait. All the staff were attentive and Dr Perez is great. He takes time to explain and make you comfortable with any needed surgery. He takes care not to leave scars when possible.

    The staff was very kind and we were seen within a short period of time. Dr. Bernhardt is efficient, thorough, and immediately addressed/treated all concerns I had for both my son and I. 2 of my other family members will also be seeing them soon. The cost for me is out of pocket, and I can tell you that I felt it was a reasonable cost for such knowledge and quick treatment.

    After reading reviews here, I was leery of going to this office for the first time. I needed a full-body skin cancer screening and had some whiteheads that my esthetician said were actually millia that only a dermatologist could remove. Nothing cosmetic, no big-dollar services. I was referred here by my physician.And it was great! I had to fill out a bunch of online records at home and pay my $30 co-pay at the front desk. I was seen quickly, by Jasmine and Jackie, both very professional. This was no perfunctory scan; Jackie went over every inch of my skin and suggested that because I am fair I should get an annual screening. She suggested an Rx for retin A rather than removal of the millia, but Jasmine did some research and told me my insurance would cover removal but not the Rx. So she asked Jackie to return to the examining room to remove the millia. That happened without discomfort and I was out an hour after I had walked in. I thanked them both for their professionalism and will make an appointment at Advantage Dermatology for an annual skin screening. I hope my experience balances out some of the bad reviews.

    I have been a patient of Advantage Dermatology for over 5 years. I ha e great confidence in their management of my skin. They are very thorough and caring. My only negative is that they periodically over-schedule patients and I’ve had to wait a long time to be seen. My last appointment for a skin check had me waiting almost an hour to be seen. Yet, their thoroughness outweighs this one negative leading to a five star rating.

    Dr. Perez is an excellent doctor. The employees are friendly. However, the first impression on the initial visit does not give me a sense of assuredness due to all the huge signs, posters, advertisement, etc. about the beauty procedures that they offer. There are no signs of the Dermatology practice. I would suggest that this be changed to ease patients arriving with serious dermatological issues to make one at ease. Some of the furniture in the waiting area, specifically chairs, are very stained and they should be removed and replaced. Having done my research on the experience and training Dr. Perez has received prior to going there, I feel comfortable.

    This group has successfully achieved professionalism and class by unprecedented measure in a medical setting. Their standard of care exceeds any I’ve ever experienced. APRN, Janice White, was amazing during my initial consult and biopsy processes. She was thorough and took her time to explain things well. I asked many questions. And although surgical follow up was required, thankfully through Advantage Dermatology, all of these services (and more) can be done in the same office, by a similar team of doctors, no transfer of paperwork. There’s a continuity of care in that which feels invaluable. On the other wing of the office, Dr. Perez and his surgical team are skilled, considerate, wise, and so knowledgeable. Even though my circumstance was complex, I never lost confidence in his team. I highly recommend them.

    This was our 1st time here. The staff was so very nice and helpful. They took time to explain the condition that my son has. I would have given a 5 star but my appointment was at 8 and we didnt get seen untill almost 9. But all in all the visit was great and I appreciate the helpfulness and will definately go back for treatment.

    I’ve been coming here for YEARS and I’ve never had a bad experience everyone is so helpful and welcoming I always recommend them to all my friends and family! These past couple months though one of the PA’s Carmen Somarriba WOW WOW WOW amazing! I always feel heard at my appointments and she goes above and beyond to figure out what will be the best option.     I read the online reviews and was a bit put off by them but the office is close to my home so I decided to give them a try. I was very impressed! The staff is friendly and courteous. The CNP Janice White was outstanding. She was on time and most helpful. I have been to several dermatologists and am quite satisfied with my care so far. Heres hoping all my visits turn out the same way. I would highly recommend this place even though its only my 1st visit.

    I visited Advantage Dermatology because I had a questionable spot on my neck. The staff was friendly and courteous. Because I had filled out my new client paperwork at home, I was taken back almost immediately. Additionally, I was seen by the doctor very quickly. Dr. Bernhardt was friendly and thorough.     Everything here is very clean and prompt. The people are beyond nice and welcoming, I ended up talking to them like friends. I saw Dr.Jane and she is very nice, genuinely cares and gives medication when necessary, but also suggests things you can get in a store. Tierra was my nurse and she’s so sweet by the end of it I felt like we were friends haha. Jeslynn checked me out, she was so friendly and made my check out fast and smooth. I 100% recommend this place to everyone. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

    Staff are super friendly. Dr Lopez and Dr woods are miracle workers. They are very friendly also. Very relaxed atmosphere. Bring a blanket or jacket when you visit. It is truly a great office. Everyone is very accommodating. Also, they have free WiFi lol. I recommend them to everyone.

    My daughter has a rare skin condition and after being turned down by several places we found Advantage. The staff is great, the office and bathrooms are always clean, and the Dr. Is very knowledgeable. My concerns are always addressed in a timely manner and in a way I can understand.     The technicians and employees are exceptionally nice medical work is not up to par and they dont seem to understand their paperwork every time my husband goes there they ask for a referral I mean he goes there at least twice a month he has skin cancer so bad Ive called and told them they never return my calls I have been waiting for an appointment for him for nearly a month they dont seem to understand that the patient is the one that is sick they have also sent letters saying the type of cancer that he has is progressing and if it keeps progressing he could die that is exactly the words in the letter that they sent with him now I need an appointment for him so you know what I need to find another doctor because this is a dermatologist not an oncologist they had to cut cancer out of his neck which I started it 10:00 in the morning and worked on him until 10:00 or 11:00 that night no pain medicine not even an aspirin.The same thing is all the people that work there are so nice and it breaks my heart they have to tell them that I really dont think theyve had enough of schooling they just dont seem to understand that he is in pain and he is my life and Im not looking forward to losing him the letter d give him has really scared me. He has big boils on his arm his chest his leg he has also lost a tremendous amount of weight and he throws up every day and I sure pray to God that they dont find the progressing cancer because all were doing is waiting for the doctors to get him in so what else can we do we have put all of our trust in advanced dermatology

    I came to Advantage Dermatology for my daughters mole removal and biopsy which required MOHs certified surgeon. Dr. Perez and staff were extremely attentive and helped my daughter understand and feel comfortable with the procedure.
