I love the Animal Clinic of Mandarin. The staff are so friendly and the office is nice and clean. Dr. Kaiser has an affinity for what she does and I love having peace of mind that she has the best interest for my pet. The Trupanion insurance is amazing and the fact that Dr. Kaiser handles all the paperwork makes it even more easy and convenient and necessary to have this insurance. All I had to do was enroll and Dr. Kaiser handled everything from there. It has been such a relief knowing anytime my pet goes to the doctor all paperwork is taken care of so all I have to focus on is my pup.

I brought my Newfoundland in today for the first time for some skin problems he has. Dr. Kaiser and her staff were very friendly and accommodating. I told her that I didn’t have a lot of money at the moment and her and her tech were very understanding. Her technician went over the price with me throughout the exam which I greatly appreciated. I was a little nervous about the few low ratings they have but I highly recommend going here! Bear will definitely be back so he can slobber some more on Dr. Kaiser!

We are so grateful and relieved to have found this practice on a Friday morning! After our sweet Charlie stopped eating for several days, we decided he was telling us that a goodbye was in order. Dr. Kaiser and her staff received us that day to attend to our 14-year-old cat---what an empathetic, compassionate group! Total understanding, no guilting us into a treatment plan. They assured us we had given our rescue cat a good, long life. Yes, a sad event, but we and our buddy were treated respectfully and tenderly. It was a very sweet process and we were able to have our hands on him the entire time as he was eased out of this world. Many thanks.🙏

Dr. Kaiser and her staff have gone above and beyond for our pets and our family. We met her after we brought two little puppies home and needed a local vet for their routine appointments. She advised us to invest in pet insurance, which seemed unnecessary to us, but she was such an advocate that we agreed to try the 3rd party service. Then our pets ingested some sort of poison a month or two later and Dr. Kaiser’s advice is the reason we were able to afford the care required to nurse our little puppies back to health (over several months of care, hospitalization at specialists, etc.). Through her care and wise counsel she literally saved two precious little lives and her office has given us tremendous support, encouragement and care. They are a wonderful group of professionals and we can’t endorse and recommend them enough. You will LOVE Dr. Kaiser and staff – they are the best vet office in Jacksonville. Schedule an appointment today!!

I have been taking my two dogs here for the last several years. Dr. Kaiser is a very knowledgeable practitioner and I trust her expertise. She also clearly has a strong passion for helping animals.Having two dogs, I know that veterinary costs can get expensive. Luckily, her office accepts pet insurance and can help provide information for those who are unsure of where to start.Recently, my senior dog needed to have dental surgery and I (like most pet parents) was very nervous about the general anesthesia that would be necessary for the procedure. Dr. Kaiser performed preoperative tests to ensure that my dog could undergo treatment as safely as possible. She explained the risks vs. rewards and answered all of my questions and concerns with patience and compassion. She called me and kept me informed through the day. Surgery was a success and I am happy knowing that my senior dog will live out her golden years with the best possible quality of life as we continue to see Dr. Kaiser for regular veterinary care.

I took my dog here for the first time and he had a fantastic time. He was treated with such care and love and Dr. Kaiser and the girls really listened to my previous experience and treated us with such great attitudes. Dr. Kaiser really took her time with my dog and I really appreciated that, I didnt feel rushed in or out of the door.I also had to take one of my other dogs here in an emergency and they realloy made both of us feel safe and cared for and got her on the mend and even called the next day to check in which I think is above and beyond care.

Dr Kaiser is amazing. Went to her for a checkup on my older pup and she recommended trupanion. After researching I signed him up for insurance and I couldn’t be happier. She is an expert with the insurance company and the cost is so reasonable I feel silly for not having it or knowing about it before her. I’m so glad she, as the doctor took the time to explain everything to me. My dogs skin started to get irritated and with Dr Kaiser and trupanion, he was treated.. My dog Buddy, was losing hair and getting red itchy areas and was so miserable… one visit with Dr Kaiser and Buddy started looking and feeling better.. I highly recommend you give her a chance and I recommend trupanion for every pet too!! I can now maintain his allergies and everyone is happy.

Dr.Kaiser is great with Paxton, who has never been comfortable in a vets office. His attitude is completely different while at Animal Clinic of Mandarin and he is not the slightest bit nervous, even while being poked!Also Im glad I took her advice on getting Trupanion (pet insurance) as he ended up having allergies. Now his daily pills and monthly shots are fully covered, in the last 8 months Trupanion has paid out $4,230 so it has definitely paid for itself. Remember your dog cant tell you where it hurts, and you dont want money to be the deciding factor if your pet *might* be sick but you need a full blood panel to know for sure.

We had a stray kitten show up at our door. The mom never appeared so we started to do what we could for her. We are both totally clueless about how to care for a kitten. We brought her here and they have been amazing. They are polite and sweet on the phone. Their customer services is great. After the doctor gave her the shots she helped us figure out all the other stuff we would need to do. They have even called and checked to see how Han Solo (Its a girls, but we didnt know at the time.) is doing and make suggestions. They have been so supportive. Its amazing to find people who are genuinely kind and these people are. They care about the animals. We are thankful to have such a good experience. I would highly recommend them!

Dr. Kaiser at Animal Clinic of Mandarin is the most personable, caring vet Ive ever met. I was in urgent need of care for my German Shepherd Klaus, she squeezed me in same day within just an hour or two of calling. Shes very thorough and upfront. My boy was suffering miserably and she was right on top of treating him. She even educated me about Advantage flea treatment that Id been using for my circus of animals and how ineffective it truly is. I couldnt be happier with my experience here. Dr. Kaiser will be our family vet from now on!

She has a caring heart and won’t hesitate, nor sugar coat anything, and she says it like it is. She will give you alternatives, when there are some, and tell you what she can do for you. She is fair in her pricing but I value her knowledge and care for our pet. She has a competent and reliable staff there to support her and your pet.

Highly recommend Dr Kaiser! Our cat had lost about 20% of his body weight in 12 months,and was vomiting a lot - even for a cat! Blood work and ultrasound were done. Vet that did ultrasound (was done at another site) was convinced surgery would be needed and gall bladder removed!Long story short, Dr Kaiser reviewed blood work and ultrasound info, recommended immediate dose of antibiotics, followed by a dietary change and continuous meds every other day. Kitty is fabulous and healthy, has all his organs, and we saved thousands not taking an invasive route when a much better path was laid out!Dexter is very thankful for Dr Kaiser!

Although I do wish theyd relax their Covid policies, thats my only complaint. We LOVE Dr. Kaiser and her phenomenal staff! As former animal hospital employees, my boyfriend and I really wanted an attentive doctor with up to date information and technology, who would include us in the decision making for our cat’s care. In the three visits we’ve had so far, we have received top notch veterinary care and service. It’s so important to have a doctor who focuses on quality over quantity. Dr. Kaiser is definitely a quality doctor! She takes plenty of time to address all of my questions/concerns and schedules enough time to let my cat have a pleasant experience; not having him heavily restrained or unnecessarily stressed. My cat, Indy, loves coming to the vet! To top it off, she handles filing claims with our cat’s insurance company, which is immensely helpful and a nice bonus! She’ll care for Indy as long as we live in driving distance. We can’t rave about Animal Clinic of Mandarin enough!

We had to have our 12 year old pug put down today. Doctor Kaiser was amazing. The most Humane veterinarian Ive ever met. Im going to make an appointment for my Great Dane to get a full checkup. We would never even consider another animal clinic. Extremely compassionate and caring. As hard as it was to put our little girl down, Dr. Kaiser made us feel very comfortable with our decision. Dr Kaiser has been more than our Family Veterinarian, she has become more like family! As my elderly German shepherd began having aging complications, Dr Kaiser took amazing care of him. She gave him many more happy and comfortable years When it was time to say goodby, she walked us through the entire journey towards the Rainbow Bridge. I couldn’t have asked for better care for his life, death and the peacefulness she brought to our family. Today, years later, she is still my go to Veterinarian and friend!! I couldn’t imagine anyone else caring for my fur babies!! Dr. Kaiser has taken care of my dachshund since he was 8 weeks old and she has been an absolute God send for us. Over the last four years, she has been available to see us not only for regular visits but also in emergencies or call us when we had questions regarding medications, etc. She is knowledgeable and has gone above and beyond to comfort my dog. Dr. Kaiser and her team have been taking care of my 2 labs for over 5 years. Dr. Kaiser suggested Trupanion for us when they were puppies and I’m so thankful she did! Dr Kaiser and her team exhibit everything needed for compassionate care for our pets. Our sweet Honey took a turn for the worst after 21 years and her team was able to arrange an in home euthanasia with very short notice to ease her passing. Every single interaction was reassuring, from the receptionist answering the phone, to the final goodbye. Dr Kaiser and her assistant took the time to explain the process and allowed us to be with our pup the whole way. The level of empathy and comfort provided, along with making sure everything moved at the right pace from start to finish, couldn’t have been more exact. She provides an absolutely necessary service to people who truly love their pets and does so in a way that I couldn’t even begin to think possible. Thank you for being there for us.

Dr. Pam Kaiser has a huge heart for animals and she has given my pets extremely loving and exemplary care throughout many years. She hospitalized my dog, Sir Christian, after hours when he was deteriorating and was able to give him medications and TLC so that he made a recovery. She even sent me videos via email every day to show me his progress as I was out of town on a required commitment. She has also given compassionate end of life care to another pet of mine when that time came.Most recently, she examined my new puppy and gave me some excellent recommendations for his care.I cannot recommend her more highly with her dedication, passion for animals!

Our dog had suffered extreme allergies and gut health issues for years, with a promised relapse around every corner. Bringing her to Animal Clinic of Mandarin was the best decision we could have ever done for her! The staff is beyond attentive, making sure every single pet gets their full undivided attention. Our dog is never anxious to go inside, and has remained in good health due to the incredible care and thought Dr. Kaiser and her team have brought to bringing our sweet girl to the best health she can have. This place is amazing. Great staff great service and most importantly a compassionate and highly skilled veterinarian. My dog is my kid and having the best possible treatment is always top of mind but good preventative medicine guided by Dr. Pam has kept my dog in tiptop shape. I must admit I was a skeptic it first before enrolling in the insurance plan however that was worth every cent has enabled my dog to receive the best possible care without it being a financial burden (not that I wouldn’t exhaust every penny to keep my puppy healthy).Thanks Dr. Pam!

I took my (adopted, senior) Chihuahua for his first appointment after emailing all of his previous medical records (which I received when I adopted him.) They reviewed his records and made recommendations about what he needed, gave him a thorough checkup, and gave me a list of what he would need in the future.Due to COVID-19 restrictions, I did not get to meet the Dogter personally, but did talk to her on the phone while she was examining Magnum. She and her staff were friendly, helpful, and caring. I am glad that I chose Animal Clinic of Mandarin to care for my newly adopted furbaby.

Dr. Kaiser and her staff are incredibly professional. Instead of just throwing a prescription at me and my cat, Dr. Kaiser sat with me, taking her time, asking many questions so that we could find the best treatment for my cat. She want trying to get more money from me like some vets do. She really wanted to find out what was up with my guy. She even pointed out things I never would have thought of, like maybe he doesnt see well at night, or isnt hearing as well as he used to. Dr. Kaiser truly cares about the animal. She had us try an over the counter med, which didnt work. The. She had us try a prescription, which worked, but poor cat couldnt tolerate taste, so she sent out for a compounded prescription for chicken flavor. She really went above and beyond. I will be making an appointment soon for my cats shots 😁 HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you are looking for a patient, caring and understanding vet.

I’ve been taking my dogs to Dr. Kaiser for about ten years now. It is so difficult to find a veterinarian whose passion and dedication is clearly focused on the patient and genuine medical wellness of our pets. I genuinely believe The Animal Clinic of Mandarin is rare in that the love and wellness of our pets is their focus and not money. Dr. Kaiser referred me to Trupanion medical insurance for health insurance for my dogs. I don’t know what I would have done without this insurance. The company is amazing and everybody should look into them. The policy has paid for itself tenfold as my dog ages and ailments befall him. I always have peace in knowing that as he ages and ailments multiply I have a great Vet and Trupanion insurance to ensure that I don’t have to try and ignore his aches and pain for lack of money. Anyone who has pets knows what I’m talking about. It is extremely costly to keep our pets comfortable at the end of life. Without Trupanion insurance, I may have had to put him to rest years ago due to the cost of surgery, medication, lab, work, follow up appointments and the rest. We all owe it to our pets to give them the best life that they can have, which to me, includes being as comfortable as possible all the days of their short lives. I believe everyone should truly talk to their vet about Trupanion. If you don’t trust or don’t absolutely love the care your animals get wherever you currently go you need to call Dr. Kaiser and you will soon realize that what I have said here is true.

Dr. Pam Kaiser and her entire clinic are all awesome! I used to go to St Francis but wanted something closer that wouldnt leave my wallet empty and Animal Clinic of Mandarin was it. I was sure I was not going to be able to find anywhere nearby that wanted less than $100+ for just shots and a check-up but was so lucky, after doing my research, that I found Dr. Pam Kaisers clinic. Theyre so helpful and made me feel so welcome, and, most importantly, they really knew what they were doing with my fur baby. He is very skiddish, but they had everything in place to try to ease his nerves as best as he would allow them to. They ALWAYS understand that each individual has a personal budget they need to work within, and she was able to work with mine spot on. She did not make me feel at all guilty that I had a fairly small budget to work with. This clinic is just all around awesome and I highly recommend it to anyone!

My first visit to the clinic and everything about it was handled in a professional pleasant and informative manner. As of today May 17 they are still using curbside pick up. I arrived on time for my appointment and they promptly came out picked up my cat. The doctor saw him right after that and called me so that we could be on the phone as she examined him. And at the end of the visit doctor came out and introduced herself and we discussed the plan of action. I was very pleased with the whole process

When we brought him to her clinic, he had a severe ear and skin infection, which has been an ongoing concern of ours. Through her time, consideration, testing, and great advice; Tiki has been better. I can not say enough about the professional and personal attention given to us by everyone at Animal Clinic of Mandarin. We were in a tough situation having found a stray dog and everyone rallied around this sweet pup to help her in every way possible. She had some complications, was deaf, and needed a lot of TLC. Dr. Kaiser has taken care of my dachshund since he was 8 weeks old and she has been an absolute God send for us. Over the last two years, she has been available to see us not only for regular visits but also in emergencies or call us when we had questions regarding medications, etc. She is knowledgeable and has gone above and beyond to comfort my dog. We live in St. Augustine but having a Vet you can trust is incredibly important and we are forever grateful to have found her! If youre looking for a Vet, she comes highly recommended in my household!!
