Seriously cannot believe how patient and kind Jasmine was with my 2 year old who wouldn’t even seat in a chair. There’s a lot of cute options but he was only interested in the train table so she did the service right there, keeping up with him while he was playing around the table.Beyond grateful for her!Very happy with the service and all the staff was so friendly 💕Thank you so muchDidn’t catch the name of the lady that gave my niece a haircut, but she was amazing as well. I took my 4 year old daughter for her first haircut. The place was very clean and everyone was nice and polite. They have magnetic toys the kids can play with that stick to the vehicles to keep them entertained. They also have the to distract kids as well during their haircutals.Jasmine did an amazing job on my daughters hair. I would highly recommend

Brought my niece for her first haircut. She is 3, and on the spectrum, she doesnt like people touching her hair. The stylist was patient and did a great job with all the moving and screaming she did. Eventually, she calmed down enough to finish, and she looked great. Thank you 😊

We absolutely love Amber! She’s been cutting our daughter’s hair since she was an infant. She’s now almost 10 and asked to have a shorter cut. She also recently took it upon herself to cut baby hairs that left a small section of unexpected, uneven and extremely short bangs. Amber cleaned them up and let her know in a very kind way that it happens all the time, but let’s not do that again. Thank you Amber!

We used to go the same place but in New Jersey (Montclair) because they was very professional, so now we are in Orlando and they still very good. We really love how the appointments run so smoothly. Madison cut all 3 of boys hair in such great timing . She is absolutely the best and did an amazing job. she was very kind, sweet and knowledgeable of what she was doing. This is the best place to get your kids haircuts! The kids feel safe enough to let the hair dressers do their job. Lol.There are so many distractions for the kids like fidget toys, movies and such. The chairs are different vehicles, a train and an airplane. Theres also other normal chairs for the bigger kids. This is great for first timers too! They have a whole package for first time haircuts that come with a cute picture. If I would have known about this earlier I definitely would have done it! My kids looove this place.

Amazing took my 1 year old son for his first haircut absolutely loved it. Mary was great totally recommend her and this place. My son used to throw the worst tantrums every time he had to get his hair cut, but since we started coming here, everything has changed.The team at this salon is simply amazing. Great experience for my son. His second haircut was sucj a great experience we will definitely be back. I do recommend an appointment as my wait time as a walk in around 10am was 45 minutes on a Saturday. The stylist ask lots of questions yup make the haircut easygoing for your kids. My son at 15 months really enjoyed the little car sat in while they cut his hair. They also have so many toys on there got purchase and got free that my son really enjoyed. As we left we got to take something shall from a treasure chest. Highly recommend this place.

They deal with him professionally, unlike other hair places who refused my son because he doesn’t sit still, and they don’t want to take responsibility. My son is autistic. We’ve tried to cut his hair twice before & he’s 3. He loves trains so sitting him in a train seat helped. Once the hair started falling on him he started screaming (sensory sensitivity 😩) but the stylist was super calm, collected & seemed as if she was very used to this which was such a relief. The first two times he tried somewhere else they gave up on him when he cried so he never actually got a real haircut. He looks soooo adorable now & I can’t wait to take him back! they have a nice area to play, some toys you can buy, and toys they let little ones play with while getting their cut. Besides that at the end another parent came up to me and told me not to worry because her son used to do the same until he started going here. Felt like a little community barbershop, super grateful & thankful I found this spot 🤍

Amazing staff, highly recommend!! We have been going here for 5 years or so and they are so patient and kind and wonderful with kids. It is an art to cut young kids hair when they are moving around and sometimes screaming at the top of their lungs lol, but they do a super job and the kids are camera ready every time. Can’t recommend this place enough, our favorite is Maria S, she is truly gifted!

Highly recommend! We were visiting from Missouri and I have had my eye on this establishment for my younger daughter’s ear piercing from our last visit that I was unfortunately unable to keep. Everyone is so patient, welcoming, considerate, and skillful. My younger daughter had her ears pierced in seconds with minimal tears and my son who just turned two received a wonderful haircut despite him being antsy. Thank you Jasmine! We love MARY C. at the Dr Phillips location! My two boys, LANCE and LUCAS beg to go get hair cuts with Ms Mary. Mary and I chat the entire time and then 18 minutes later Mary gives me back my kids looking their best and feeling confident! A quality haircut is a gift to a child. Marys haircuts provide great emotional and psychological confidence as my kids go to chess club, robotics club, volleyball and Jui Jitsu. They look good and feel good as young men. Boys can not get excited about ponytails, braids, headbands, barrettes and fairy hair. They do get excited about spikey bangs, overpriced Johnny B Street creame and feeling the breeze on their scalp when the wind blows and they are not hot sweaty messes with too long hair. They are complimented on their hair regularly and we always recommend Pigtails & Crew Cuts in Dr Phillips!

We came for my babys first haircut and for my daughter to have her nails painted. The haircut was great! The stylist was amazing with my son and his hair looked adorable. I loved the card with the picture and hair clipping they gave me, so I could put it in his memory box. For the nails, I wouldnt waste money doing that again. The nail polish never fully dries. An hour after she had them done, it was still moveable and not hardened. She loved her nails when they were first done and she was super sad when most of them were wiped off by the time we got home. If we do it again, I might just bring her own nail polish. Other than that though, the lady was really nice

What a great spot for young ones to get their haircut. We took my grandson who had not had an official haircut since he was born 3 years ago. From the initial phone call to Amber to set up an appointment in the Dr. Phillips location, to the entrance to this beautiful playground and the attention of all the beauticians (which by the way have to have plenty of patience to deal with the kids not staying still while getting their hair cut) to the first haircut package which included a card with grandsons photo with a first lock of hair keepsake and the date of the haircut. I was beyond impressed as I just learned of this place a couple of months ago. Highly recommend the Dr. Phillips location.

We went for a first haircut package with our twins, who are a little over 2 years old. Both stylists were patient and kind, and did a wonderful job with our babies. Their hair came out great, and they made sure to get us the perfect photo for their first hair cut certificate. The only downside was that it was very crowded when we got in. It looked like there was a scheduling issue with another customer, which caused our appointment to start a bit late. I would still highly recommend this place, especially for little legends that have not yet experienced a haircut. We will be back!

Came in for my daughters first haircut and Maria did an amazing job of catering the service to my daughter. She allowed her to choose what seat she would be in and made sure she was excited throughout. She took a photo for the little certificate you get and ensured she took numerous to get the perfect one. It is a bit pricey but with the experience and service worth every penny. Will definitely be coming back for future haircuts ! And the seats are absolutely adorable they have a police car, plane, can and fire truck which are adorable and very fun for the children.

I took my son for his first haircut here! It was an incredible experience. He was a bit scared, but Maria was amazing. She took her time to build trust, let him pick his seat, gave him magnets, played with him, and once he was comfortable, she started to cut!She was so sweet to my little man. There was a boy screaming and crying and she kept my son calm and happy! She also took time to ask me what I thought about the length and listened to me and my crazy fear of loosing my curly haired boy after the cut!!!We will be back! Both my sons were coming in. I get a text saying they have to cancel my one sons appointment due to hair stylist not being able to make it. I called and spoke to the girl up front and they worked it out so both my sons would be able to get their hair cut. Even though I ended up with more hair on me then the floor. No fault of hers though. I literally had to hold down my son and my mother in law helped. Amazing FIRST HAIRCUT experience! I cannot say enough great things about this business or our experience there. The women were very kind and helpful. I was late for my appt and they took us right away without any issue. It was clean, friendly and had tons of things to keep the little ones busy. My son is almost two and was getting his first haircut. The plan had been to go to Harmony Barber shop inside Disney but we were unable to. I found this place through Google and I’m so happy I did. Because of my son‘s age and being born right before the start of Covid he is extremely shy. I was so worried that he would have a complete meltdown but with all the fun stuff he was fine. He got to sit inside a little car and the girl who was cutting his hair gave him some little magnet toys to stick on the wheel. When he started to get upset she grabbed a bubble gun, which kept him happy and distracted for the rest of the haircut. She did such a great job and never got frustrated with his movements or his complaining. I got him the first haircut package and I’m so glad I did. She saved his hair for me and put the small curls in one bag and then the rest which was in a pony tail in another. I gave her basically free range to decide the haircut was a general idea of what I was looking for and it came out amazing. After his haircut they took a picture of him and made him a certificate at first haircut which they placed the small bag of hair on and his picture that they printed right there . I definitely recommend this place if you’re considering getting your child their first haircut or any haircut for that matter.

Very welcoming place for children and parents alike. The staff was professional, as well as, patient and considerate towards children. My grandsons haircuts were exactly what I asked for. The stylists were able to pull off a challenging task without skipping a beat, considering both my grandsons were apprehensive about the hair cutting experience. Ill take them there again even though its 45 minutes from my home.

This is the happiest I have ever seen my son while getting his haircut.Usually when one hair gets on his neck he panics and will cry. To see him smiling in a barber chair is astounding.The lady, Mrs. Jasmine, who cut my children’s hair was so special with them that they responded terrifically to her.

Always love taking my 1 year old here. He never cries just wines a bit. With the tv on and toys he gets distracted and stays calm. Theyre so patient. They always cut his hair the way that I ask them too, even better and theyre also very sweet ladies.

Mary was AMAZING with my little guy and his first hair cut. The first hair cut package was so darn cute!! What a great way to remember this big day. All the staff we interacted with were kind and all about the kids. Will only be bringing my son here for all future haircuts!!

Took my son for his first 2 cuts and they are amazing. They can really deal with kids that do not stay still. PLEASE make appointments though. I waited 2hrs for my sons second cut, on a Saturday, with no appointment. Completely my fault. Great place though.

Our son is not a fan of sensory aspects of getting his hair cut. We found ourselves in a situation where his barber was no longer in the business and we couldnt put off a haircut any longer. On a whim we scheduled a last minute appointment at Pigtails & Crewcuts. It was success. They were able to work with him and he came out looking handsome! We will 100% be returning.

Love it! 4th time bringing my toddler boy there and he usually gets terrified by scissors and machines and the staff have been always been friendly and give my son a 1 on 1 personalized attention. As well I need to mentioned the salon is always super clean and everybody is smiling and eager to help. We just left the salon with our 19 month old son who had his first hair cut. We had Mary. To say that she is amazing is an understatement. My son cried, screamed, and moved around non stop while my husband held him and I tried to play baby shark, his favorite, to try to distract him. Not only did Mary have a lot of patience, she was very professional, and through my son’s kicking and screaming she gave him an amazing haircut. Will definitely come back for his next haircut.

Great facility. I always bring my kids here. They are attentive and take good care of the kids.The only thing is I think by the end of the hair cut I feel trapped to buy a toy because off course my kids get mesmerized by all the stuff they have on the shelves. He had a couple tantrums when it comes to the end.So know we made it tradition, if they behave during hair cut they might choose something, if we feel like they deserve.

My sons second haircut was here and he did so much better than the place he had his first at. The barbers were attentive and worked fast to get us the haircut we wanted for him. I know a lot of people complain about the cost but lets be honest, keeping a small child still, entertained, and having a decent haircut is well worth it.

Melinda is the reason for the 5 stars. She was amazing, super attentive, energetic, and fun. My son loved it and he hates getting hair cuts! We are originally from NM so I was a little nervous about taking him in as a walk-in but the wait was totally worth it! If I find myself in Florida again Ill definitely bring him back to her!

Our son is on the autism spectrum. Pigtails and Crewcuts was recommended to us by a relative. We had always taken our son to Family barbers in regular barbershops and it was always a horrible experience. Lisa was very patient with our son. Although he screamed and cried pretty much the whole time, she never lost composure and did her best to make him comfortable. He ended up with a cute haircut despite the fact that he tried to get off the chair many times. We so appreciate the care and understanding with which we were treated and will definitely return. :-) Lisa was amazing.

The wait time was less than expected and my 1.5 year old could have played with the train table for hours. I noticed with the clients before us they really paid attention to detail and was no different with us. Brittany really has a special talent when it comes to dealing with children. My sons first hair cut was at Disney and at that time I was satisfied but now I know how much better it could have been if we would have come here in the first place. We will be returning for future haircuts.

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE. My daughter got her first ear piercing here. The staff was super friendly and great with her. The earings came out of a sealed sterile package. The piercing gun was silent. They even sung if your happy and you know it with her to take her attention off the pain. I can not recommended this place more.

All the stylists are awesome. They have an immense amount of patience with the little ones and from my experience do their very best to do exactly what you ask of them. My little man loves Iris and the fact that he can choose which chair he wants each time... car, airplane, fire truck, train.

What an amazing experience! I made an appointment but decided to try and get it done earlier than the appointment time. I walked in and asked if they would take my little guy and they took him right away. It was his first cut so I was worried and when I walked in it seemed that all the littles weren’t happy about getting their hair cut. My little guy did great as did the lovely Chantel who cut his hair! It turned out so well and he didn’t cry a peep! Thank you! I’ll be back!

We have been taking our son to Pigtails & Crewcuts - Dr. Phillips for years. Our son has Autism and really does not like having his hair cut but everyone at P&C makes the entire experience wonderful. Because of scheduling issues on our side he has had several stylists (Marta, Jennifer & Amber) at different times and all three have been great with him. Once he had his haircut while he was sitting on the floor playing with the train table. :)Also, the owner Jennifer is awesome. She is always very kind and willing to do whatever is needed so our son has a good experience.Thank you P&C for making what was a very difficult experience in the past into what is now a fun outing for my son.
