Rusty was fantastic! Not only did he fix a bad previous dye job, he gave me the beautiful auburn color I wanted with a stylish cut and fabulous length. My hair turned out beautifully and I have gotten lots of compliments on the red! Not to mention he is an inspiring person and has a great personality. Incredible service. Can’t recommend him enough!!

I have recently moved from out of town and found myself looking for a new hair stylist/colorist. I found Rusty Norths reviews with high ratings noted on Yelp and Google. I made a first appointment with great apprehension. My fears were alleviated by Rusty during my first visit as he was patient and listened to my every request. He took his time blending my requests with his expertise regarding the color and cut and I left feeling confident in his skills and abilities.I have waited until the second visit to provide an accurate review of Rusty North. The hair cut and color stood the test of time since the first visit and he remains committed to pleasing his customers on an ongoing basis. Thank you, Rusty from a new Floridian!

Rusty North is the best hair stylist I have ever had. He has been coloring and cutting my hair for a year now. I would not go to anyone else. He always does what I ask, the color comes out beautiful every time. I have curly hair and frizzes in the Florida weather, I was always so frustrated with that, He suggested I do a keratin treatment and I love it, my hair is so smooth and straight and looks healthy and shiny for weeks. I get so many compliments on my hair color when I go places. I highly recommend everyone to go to Rusty North for all your hair needs. He is the best!

Rusty is awesome! Gentlemen have no fear! Hes become my go to for haircuts in St. Augustine. He listens to your needs and makes suggestions when appropriate. If you ask to take just a little bit off the top a little bit is defined, and he does just that, not like some barbers that Ive been to who when asked the same you still leave looking like your headed off to basic training. I have been to many Colorist in Jacksonville, Fl. and St. Augustine, Fl. About a year ago I found Rusty North. He has been creatively working, making suggestions and trying to give my hair a more healthy look. Well....today he hit a home run! BRAZILIAN BLOWOUT is a MUST for anyone looking to feel better about their hair. The product feels great and the end result is fabulous! If you want to re-fall-in-love with your hair, I HIGHLY recommend this. And of course, RUSTY NORTH is the BEST of the BEST! He is my hair angel.

All I can say is WOW!! The service is SUPER friendly and the air is light and full of laughter as this amazing team of professionals joke with one another and their clients. The aura of a friend/family setting is extremely comforting and makes all that enter it feel welcome. PLUS they are really good at hair too!! ROFL! I went in looking for a perm that would fit me, my personality and.. well... whether well rounded appearance LOL, and not only did I get the look I wanted but Rusty North knocked it right out of the park!! When I left I was really happy with the look and comfortable that it would make me happier, but when I woke up this morning it was EVEN BETTER!! That was not expected I didnt even think it could of been more perfect then when I left but it is exactly what I wanted in every way!! Thank you Rusty you have made this chubby Italian girl beyond happy!!

I met Rusty at a wedding 2yrs ago and sat next to him at the reception, in our conversation i learned he did the hair for the bride and her party and others there. They were all very lovely whether long, updo, short. Rusty did a great job. The Thank Yous and smiles spoke volumes. You can see his diligence by watching Rusty work.As for my own experience, especially that Rusty took time to listen about my hair and its quirks. The cut and color made all the difference. I went to the Hair Loft before my wedding and am very satisfied with the service I received. I had gone to another barber previously, but was extremely disappointed with the experience. Even though it was last minute, Nancy was able to see me and made sure that I looked great for my special day. I will definitely be going back, and would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for a great cut!

Absolutely LOVED Barbie Palacek! Incredibly talented, professional and knowledgeable in hair color and styling! Very professional high end equipment coupled with boutique style decor make this a relaxing experience for clients!! Barbie is in Loft#3. Highly recommend!!!

I really never thought that I would want a man to cut my hair as I have always had it cut by women. I now have changed my mind and Rusty at The Hair Loft is the real deal. It is cut exactly as I wanted every time I go and the price is more than reasonable. I would be lost if he moved, thats for sure! Give him a try.
