I have finally found a salon I love! Its such an experience from the moment you walk in. Theres a little living room area in which you wait for your stylist while sipping on a hot coffee, sparkling water or a glass of wine, read a magazine, or peruse the products and wonder which one you should buy. Every stylist is great and has their own style. I normally see Jenna for a cut and highlight. Ive always walked out refreshed and feeling brand new! 10/10 would recommend!

I have been a client of Lisa’s for many years and recently started seeing her at Philosophie. I absolutely LOVE THIS SALON. The front entry and waiting area for clients is so cute, calm and relaxing. The salon its self has the same vibe, in fact even when it’s packed I don’t even feel the hustle and bustle, it’s still incredibly calm . I walk in and immediately feel comfortable and accommodated.Not only is the vibe 10/10, I feel like a million bucks every time I leave from the talent Lisa has. She truly reads my mind and knows what looks best for me. My hair has never looked better!

Loveee my cut and color!! First time at Philosophie and Terra was my Stylist. She did a killer job. We spent some time going over pictures and ideas she had and I am thrilled with the final product. Will absolutely go back. I have long thick blond hair and not always great at keeping up with my highlight appointments so it was grown out. My blond she did is so natural and perfectly blended. The cut is one of the best Ive ever had with perfect layers and framing around my face. Ive had my hair done all over and Terra is definitely my new Stylist. The salon is so cute as well with a glass of wine and chocolates in the waiting area, which never hurts!

We have a new found love for Philosophie!My daughter and I have both been seeing Lisa our stylist for a few years now, and with her recent move to Philosophie we of course had to follow! We love Philosophie! The environment is so warm and inviting! When walking in the door there is always someone close by to greet you, and refreshments available as you sit and wait for your appointment!So far we are loving the atmosphere and friendly faces!Now to Lisa! Lisa has been our girl for years! Between my daughter and I we have had many cuts and many many colors and Lisa always nails our vision! My hair has been bleached white (I am naturally dark dark brunette), to caramel, to red. From long, to chin length and I always leave feeling my very best and I truly cannot thank Lisa enough! The same goes for my daughter! She goes out of her way to specifically ask that she sees Lisa for her cuts! Only Lisa has been able to nail the edgy looks she’s going for!We appreciate everything throughout the years and are excited to continue our journey with Philosophie!

I used to jump around from salon to salon looking for the right stylist to fix my hair and magically transform it to what I pictured I wanted in my head. Different balayage techniques and colors until my poor hair was so unhealthy. Once I sat in Lisa’s chair, I knew I wouldn’t be searching any longer. She made me LOVE my hair again. She has taught me so much about my own hair that I didn’t even know. If your on a road to recovery with your hair but want to feel amazing again, book a consultation with Lisa. She delivers results.

I was in need of a new hairstylist and after a lot of digging, this is the place I decided to try. Theyre full service, Ive actually had my eyebrows done here by Mia and she does a great job. Im a natural blonde with thin hair, so usually I keep it simple with just a hair cut, no color. I wanted to try a different look and Melody did an amazing job at giving me exactly what I wanted!! Its always nerve racking for me when I get a cut, but she totally had me at ease. 10/10 recommend. Reception was so sweet too, and I mean look how cute this place is! They have water and coffee available while you wait.

I booked an appointment with Misha- fabulous pixie razor cut and root touch up color. Thoroughly enjoyed my time in the salon. Decorated very cute and inviting. Thank you Misha for your expertise with the razor cut!!! And awesome shampoo scalp massage!!❤️

Being chemically sensitive, I cant even go into most hair or nail salons. But Kayleigh at Philosophie was wonderful about accommodating me. First the salon doors were open so there was already a fresh-air smell about the place. She happily used my own unscented shampoo that Id brought with me, then took me outside to cut my hair into a cute style. Everyone there was so kind.

Kayleigh Khoshnood is a fantastic stylist! I highly recommend her. I just moved to Saint Augustine and was not looking forward to having to find a new salon. I kept seeing my sister coming back with great haircuts, color, and highlights, so I asked her where she has been going and quickly made an appointment with Kayleigh! She is a great listener and really strives to give the customer what they want! Also, the salon is super cute!

Ive been going to Philosophie for about 8 years and every experience Ive had there has been delightful. Ive received a haircut from Will, Olivia, Camille, and Danielle and theyre all so talented and kind. I consistently see Danielle, who always makes me feel welcome and has sent me home feeling great about my hair for years now. The salon is spotless and I love how theyve decorated their new location. I also really appreciate how theyve handled the pandemic and how adaptive theyve been with mask policies and the changing dynamics of COVID. I truly cant overstate how great Philosophie is (especially Danielle) and I highly recommend it.

Amazing!! I got my first cut at Philosophie with Caitlynn and it was the best experience! The atmosphere was fun and inviting and Caitlynn did such a beautiful job on my hair. Highly recommend!

I was in town for a few days visiting my parents and called Philosophie to book a blowout. I walked into the salon and was greeted immediately and offered a glass of water. I was very impressed with how pretty the salon is. The decor really is beautiful. My stylist was Camille. She is a lovely job with my blowout. Very warm conversation as well. The other stylists are friendly too...they each spoke to me at some point during my appointment. I’m sad that I’m not local as I would definitely return. A bit pricey but I enjoyed it there very much.

As soon as I walk in, Im transported by the amazing scents and fresh beauty of the space. The service is simply top-notch. I have some of my absolute favorite hairstyles and colors created at Philosophie (by Misha!). If youre looking for a phenomenal hair styling experience, look no further!

I have been going to this salon for over 5 plus years . It has been a consistently nice place to visit. The owner really tries and updates the interior, they always have new hair products and brands to try out as well as make up and other fun stuff. The service has always been on point. My actual hairdresser has relocated but i have been assigned a new girl and she has been wonderful ! Her name is Jaime and I usually get foil highlights , but she has introduced me to Balayage technique and it has been amazing for my hair . She is really good at it and has explained that the technique works better and better ( basically shows more blonder and defined ) as you keep doing it. i highly recommend this salon , keep doing what youre doing ! Thank you Jamie and Philosophie.

Ive been receiving haircuts from them for several years now. The entire staff is very courteous, theres always a pleasant atmosphere, and I always walk out feeling good about their service. For what they offer, I find that their prices are fair and the products they use are professional. Overall, Id recommend visiting since they do such a great job.

I am in town from Chicago visiting my parents and I desperately needed highlights and a cut. I saw great reviews and am SO GLAD I went to Phosophie. Olivia, my stylist, is AMAZING! The salon is very cute and the COVID precautions they are taking made me feel very safe. I am obsessed with bright blonde highlights and Olivia did a fantastic job. The price was comparable to my high end Chicago salon but it was wealth worth it!!

I love the whole vibe of this place! The receptionist is always very kind and I feel like she really makes sure to genuinely connect with the customers. Mia is amazing at eyelash tint and lift and eyebrow wax and lamination. It’s my favorite and so relaxing I almost fell asleep last time ❤️

I have had a couple of great cuts from two different stylists (Will and Cassandra) in the past while visiting family in the area. Weve recently moved to St. Augustine and my husband and I will be making Philosophie our local salon. Alexis and Mandy did a fabulous job on our bridal partys hair for my sisters New Years Eve wedding. The style was exactly what we wanted and even stayed up through the crazy wind at the outdoor ceremony. The airy salon is at once industrial-cool and cozy. Its like getting your hair done inside an Anthropologie catalog, and who doesnt want that?! Great selection of fabulous product - Davines in particular. The staff from the receptionist to the stylists are warm, welcoming and professional. Looking forward to my next appointment!

Weve used other stylists at Philosophie on occasion and regardless of whos handling the shears weve always been thrilled with out cuts and colors. If youre looking for an exceptional experience, Philosophie is the place to be.

Im new to the area and after passing some of the barber shops in the area, I just didnt want to trust them with a haircut. No offense. Went to Philosophie and made a great choice. The salon is super quaint and smells AWESOME. Everyone there is really nice and they can all cut a mean head of hair, all with great conversation and a smile on their face!

The atmosphere is inspiring, very urban, yet warm and friendly. The fragrances are clean and botanically based, so no harsh or unpleasant chemical or perfume smells. My hairdresser, Will, is FABULOUS! He listened well to my needs and concerns and took the time to really understand the kind of hair I have. He gave me an excellent haircut! Philosophie is the best!

I recently moved to the area from NYC. I used to get my hair cut at Bumble & Bumble. I get a better haircut at Philosophie, the service is amazing, and the experience is intimate. It reminds me of a trendy salon in Berkely. By far the best Salon I have ever been to.

Philosophie has captured a hip, metro vibe without the aloof attitude. Marlena, who handles the reception work, even took the time to look through their files to see if she could figure out the stylist an acquaintance mentioned with whom I wanted to make an appointment...even before I was a client. It was Danielle, with whom I had an immediately easy rapport and who got me and what I wanted right away. I love the cut she gives. I can even wash and go from home if need be without all the fuss and muss of styling. The color the salon uses (wish I could remember its name) stays fresh and vibrant between colorings and the salon also carries/uses the Kevin Murphy styling products that work beautifully and are free of parabens and sulphates. There is easy parking behind the salon and I love the look, feel and smell of their offerings and decor that set the atmosphere for a fun, relaxing experience. Couldnt be happier!

I always love going to this salon! The receptionists are always friendly and helpful. I have gotten my hair cut and eyebrows waxed there. My eyebrows always are done with precision and my hair is always gorgeous. Both me and my mom go to Will, he is amazing at cutting hair and very nice. Philosophie not only boasts a great staff, the interior is chic and sparkling clean.

Philosophie Salon is a cute establishment that is fun and fresh. The service is friendly and professional. They call with reminders prior to each appointment, remember your name and greet you with cheer. After using multiple other establishments with no luck, my stylist managed to give me a haircut that addressed a problem area so that I am now confident that my hair is looking its best.
