So I dont write reviews often but my experience at Joseph Thomas definitely deserves a big one! I am from Chicago and after moving down here 4 years ago Ive gone through seven salons. So here was number eight and my final one. George and Leon were amazing! Felt like family by the time I left there. But for the most important part, my color and cut were the best I ever had down here. George is an awesome stylist and both listens and offers suggestions. Now I know why they are always booked. Needless to say, I have found my hidden gem! I will be a lifetime client!

I have been going to Joseph Thomas Salon since we moved to Florida in late 2017 from Illinois. I had a great hairdresser in IL, and I am very picky about my hair. George Santos has outdone any hairdresser Ive ever had. He truly listens to what I want, and he is absolutely BRILLIANT with Color and Cuts. I would NEVER go anywhere else!

After coloring my own hair since October I decided to explore our area and choose a salon. I googled “Salons near me” and several appeared but I liked what I read about Joseph Thomas Salon. We were greeted by George and it was all up hill from there! The Salon is gorgeous yet very intimate and comfortable. It is small and they only allow 4 customers at one time so it is very COVID safe. George kept us entertained as he colored our hair and it was a very pleasant afternoon in spite of all going on in today’s world.! This is one of the many ‘Estero gems’ that I have discovered! We will be back!

The staff is very friendly. The decor is fun and elegant. I see Leon and Ive always been happy with my cuts and color. I have extremely thick hair thats curlier in some spots than others due to chemo. Hes always adjusted to my changing hair and I always get compliments. I try different styles and he helps guide me. Its fun and relaxing.

Love, Love, Love George!No matter how I show up ( I travel I lot) with what I have done to my hair, George fixes it and make me look like a million bucks. Really, recently I had 3 different colors from box hair products and walked out gorgeous.The cut was great, the color was great and the service is friendly.I would recommend this salon to my friends and family its thats good.

I am from out of town and wanted to get my hair cut and colored while in Florida. I found the salon to be beautiful and clean. Most of all my stylist George was on time,very professional and did a fabulous job. Now whenever I am in that area i book an appointment. If you are looking to change or need a new salon I highly recommend them.

I have been going to Leon for my hair for over 15 years now. I cant even begin to tell you how many compliments I get on my hair. Its now fairly short and copper colored with blond streaks through it. After I turned 50 my appearance seemed even more important, and I was so glad I could count on Leon to always make my hair look its best. Leon and George are awesome, they are like family to me, I cant imagine going anywhere else!

I am from Canada & staying at Breckenridge tennis & golf club. I was needing a hair cut desperately & by looking up hair salons near me, & this salon came up! Wow, what a gem I found!!!! Right from the moment I stepped into the door , Ida, the receptionist, was so warm with a beautiful smile & welcomed me!!Leon did my hair & he knew exactly what I wanted! His sense of humour, his caring & warm nature,made me feel like I had known him for years! His technique is exactly what I was used to as well! We laughed & laughed several times over the course of the time I was there. I came away feeling very blessed! I highly recommend this salon💕

This was my first haircut in over a year. My hair was partially down my back. I liked one of our customers haircut. She told me where she went. I booked an appointment with Leon, the same guy who cut her hair. When I walked in the door, Leon said he loved my hair and didnt want to cut it. I told him, yes he will. Here for a cut. I showed him the pic of the haircut I was interested in. He said it was too short. I told him he could do what he wanted. He cut it to my chin. I love my new do.Go see Leon at Joseph Thomass in Estero. I love him.

Outstanding - Stylists. Service. Ambience. Courtesy and professionalism. I have been coming here for over 6 years. I have coarse and frizzy hair, and a touch of grey. ;). My cuts enhance my natural waves. My color and highlights and lowlights add a touch of sparkle. And the keratin has been sent from heaven! George is an uber stylist - he works with the individual - lifestyle, likes, and how to manage ones hair at home. Leslie, also, does a top notch job with nails. I have gel manicures with her - she has many years of experience. I cannot more highly recommend this salon.

This salon is the best! George is incredible! Best colorist ever. Small intimate shop with extremely dedicated and talented stylists. Professional and yet warm and friendly. They really take the time to get it right.

I have lived in SW Fl for over 10 years and have searched for a good professional hair salon since moving here. I had heard many good things about Joseph Thomas Salon and in particular both George and Leon. My daughter and I decided to give it a try. George did a beautiful job giving her my daughter both violet and blonde highlights in her long dark almost black hair. She had this done prior about 6 months earlier, but they couldnt compare to the way George made her hair look. I have chosen to embrace the gray that is overtaking my head. Although I was coloring my hair prior, it just did not last. When I walked into Joseph Thomas, the upper roots of my hair were gray and the bottom half of my hair was what what was left of the previous color, all faded out. It looked almost orange. I just couldnt wait for my hair to grow out, it looked so terrible. Leon put some low lights in my hair and then gave me a rinse so that my hair looks natural with a gray or silver tone as well as a beautiful bob cut. As the gray grows in it will now grow in looking completely natural. And to top it off the prices were very reasonable. We have found our home!! It took over 10 years but we will make the drive from Punta Gorda to Estero everytime.

Tonya Spicer is my girl! She listens to what you want and is honest if it wont work. Whenever I leave her chair, I feel like a whole new person. I get compliments all the time on my color and my cut. I highly recommend you visit Tonya if you want a stylist who wants to you to be happy.

A great salon - both for hair services and nail services. The salon is spotlessly clean, and stylishly decorated. The employees are fun and friendly, and the services are professional and reasonably priced. Make an appointment with Leslie for the most spectacular nail services! She is expert at both natural and acrylic nails.

I had a hair emergency and I called this salon because I needed a master stylist to correct my situation and I saw all the great reviews online so I gave them a ring and they squeezed me in the same day my stylist name was Elizabeth she knew exactly how to correct the problem and the outcome was great! The prices are reasons for the quality of service I will be returning!!
