    I got really lucky finding this place and finding someone who knows my hair type. Remy is so detailed and an “old school” stylist! She will get the job done well and professionally! Her mom is the sweetest and it feels like home every time I’m there. Thankful for these folks 🙏I have straight hair with locs- great locticians altogether

    Great customer service. I challenge Mrs. Celicia every time with my long & thick hair with different styles. She wins every time. I have been a happy client for the past 2 years. I love her & her family they very welcoming. I happy she is my new stylist.

    CWata was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I came in for the first an appointment for my locs retwist and styled. I was greeted with a smile, they wasted no time getting to the chair for washing and immediately to Styling. I had the privilege of having the matriarch of the salon to style my hair, and she was fast and efficient. I love my style. I will be back. The atmosphere felt like family.

    I truly loved my experience at CWata! The salon is clean and personable! I was in the washing chair within 5 minutes of my arrival! And Ms. Cecilia was starting my hair shortly after my wash! They are quick, personable, and talented. Ms. Cecilia answered all of my questions and concerns allowed me to pick out my parting sizes, without complaint! All three locticians in the salon were passionate about their craft and so sweet! I was able to watch Ms. Anne consult and style another client while I was in the chair and she did a phenomenal job as well and she was quick! They do not charge for consultations, the retwist comes with wash and style. You can tell these women have been doing this for a long time and when you come in they treat you well with love and kindness. It has literally been less than 24 hours since my hair has been completed and I have had SO many compliments on my hair! I will be coming back and I am happy to know that I have found my locticians! I will be recommending CWata to any of my friends who want to start or continue their loc journey for sure! Thank you again ladies!

    This is by far the best salon experience I’ve ever had in my 34 years of age! The salon atmosphere is unlike any other. The washes are so magical I feel like I could take a nap right in the shampoo bowl. Reme is so delightful and gentle. She gets my hair looking amazing without pulling and yanking on my hair. She’s so personable, she makes me feel like a cousin not a client. This is the only place I will ever trust with my loc care!

    C-Wata is a great! I haven’t been going here since 2013. I have started my locs here and I still continue to come here to get my hair done. C-Wata is very nurturing and gentle with natural hair. The ladies will make you feel really comfortable and you will get up from the chair looking phenomenal. Pricing is very decent as well. You won’t be disappointed!

    I thoroughly enjoy my appointment at the hair salon today with Andrill, she was very nice, professional, and knew what she was doing. The atmosphere was very pleasant and comfortable. I was even given valuable information on how to better my hair growth! I am very happy that I came across this salon, there aren’t any ridiculous prices, and even better a style was included with a wash and retwist! I would say that you are definitely getting your money’s worth and don’t let anyone fool you into going anywhere else! Thanks again!

    I cannot express my gratitude for Reme!! She is such a patient person who really listens to your hair care needs and helps you grow long beautiful locs.1. I have a sensitive scalp- and that can be something a lot of locticians may not care to deal with. But she took the time to learn what wouldn’t break out my scalp.2. I also cut my locs myself (yikes) and she was able to repair them seamlessly. She’s kind and honest and I wish I could say that these attributes are common in the loc community- but they’re not. I came to Rimi with a butchered loc bob; I now have locs that touch my back.3. Her personality speaks for itself. She is not the one who comes into the shop with an attitude and mishandles your hair as a result. No matter what, Rimi always fosters a positive and nurturing environment for those who need it.She’s so talented and she needs to charge more for the magical talent she brings. This salon is full of gifted locticians (and excellent shampoos!!) I highly recommend coming to CWata for your locs and wicks.

    So first I have to start by saying that the vibe and energy that this shop has is amazing! I went in two weeks ago for a hair consultation to combine locs into wick locs. My hair was already going through a home combined process but my ends were thin and damaged from color processing. Let’s just say I needed a miracle to bring my locs back to life.I met with Remi and she was amazing and let me know my request can be met with no worries. I now went in yesterday to get service completed and my hair is EVERYTHING. Remi and Amber are the wick Goddesses of Jacksonville. They made my experience the best. They communicated the whole process to make sure I was ok with every step being taken. They even had a great eye for detail when making sure they accommodated how I enjoy to wear my hair styles, the accessories I wear in my hair, ect. My hair came out amazing and to be honest it exceeded my expectations. They took my damaged hair and gave it life, fullness, and longevity. Loc services is so important to have done by experienced professionals especially when repairing damaged hair. I will never go anywhere else again. This place is everything and more! I will always come back.

    I’ve never been a fan of allowing others to touch my hair but @ CWata I got the vibe that this was a safe place and upon coming through the front door I knew I’d made the right choice!     Mrs. C started my locs on April 11 of this year. I just had my re-twist done. Mrs. C will be the only one to touch my locs. Her shop is so relaxed and she is a gem. Great at her work.     Since my consultation back in 2015, I fell in love with Ms. Cecelia. She educated me and fixed my starter locs. Under her care my hair has grown so much. She is such a sweet lady and shes very personable. I cannot imagine going to a better Soul to touch my hair. I highly recommend her and Ann.

    So thankful and grateful to find a loctation to help me with my journey. We had our stylist cancel at the last minute and I called them and they immediately told me to come in.
