I met with Jolie and set the date and time for my appointment. I had to change the date when I realized that I would have to work unexpectedly but she was very understanding and accommodating. I made a point of arriving a little early for my appointment and was happy when we were able to get started at once. A little under two hours later my braids were done and they looked beautiful. Loved Jolies personality and I have absolutely no complaints. She will be by braids stylist from now on. Love Her!!!!

She was gentle on the roots and edges and took her time to make sure each braid and part was right. Yesterday I went to Jolie African Braids in Poway- and Elisabeth did such a great job!! I was growing out an undercut that was only about an inch long and Elisabeth was able to add some beautiful extensions to help me grow it out. She was so kind and professional, I will definitely be back!This was my first experience with extensions and braids and I thought it was going to be tight and painful, but Elisabeth was very gentle and fast.I LOVE the style. My hair is back to feeling thick and healthy. A way more fun transition now while my hair grows back out.Elisabeth can do all different types of braids, colors, and styles. I highly recommend! I did just the back half this time, so my style is very versatile both up and down. Its exactly what I was looking for.THANK YOU SO MUCH ELISABETH!

It’s been about a 1 1/2 since I last had my hair braided. The lady at another salon traumatized me so bad; I lost a lot of hair because she braided my hair so tight and from all that pulling on my hair from the crochet braids, I decided I was never going to get my hair braided again.I met Jolie and after talking with her, she promised me that she would take good care of me and for me to trust her with my hair. I must say that Jolie did an amazing job on my crochet braids, she was very professional and nice, she has a Christian salon that I like and very clean. I finally found a place that takes pride in their work and the quality is impeccable ! The moment I walked through the door I felt welcomed, not only that after conversations with Lucy and Elizabeth for some reason I felt like I was with family, having great conversation while they did my hair. Both are Lovely woman, I will go back when I’m wanting my hair braided! Also, it’s hard to find professionals that handle natural hair with care, and Lucy and Elizabeth handled my hair with care. This was my second time visiting and I was more than happy both occasions. Ive experienced both stylists and their work was worth every penny. I have fine hair so I protect my baby bangs by leaving them as leave outs without braiding. The parts were so straight and braids not too tight but just right. My first braids were medium box that lasted 3 months even after being washed a few times. I tried a new styled box with feed-in braids side part bob this time and have had many compliments already. Next time Ill try Ms Lucys recommendation of adding a pop of color instead of just 1B! Professional and welcoming shop!

It was recommended that I try this salon for cornrows & box braids and they did not fail! The ladies are nice and their work is by far the best! Liz and her mom are so sweet and kind. They helped me lock my decision on which size box braids i wanted. They are fast. Only took 3 hours for medium mid back length. Have to make appointment but very flexible. I wanted Blue highlights with the braid mix and they had the color. I love it!

The stylists helped decide on a hair color which resulted in going a little outside of our comfort zones, but I love it! My scalp isnt super sore or tender and best of all, I was out in 4 hours flat! I have long, thick hair. That rarely happens when I get my hair braided! Im so relieved to find a place in Jax that I can get my hair braided with good service!
