I got my son’s first haircut, and I couldn’t have picked a better place. Everyone was so kind and caring. They knew exactly how to take care of our needs and our sons. I love how they don’t just interact with you but they play with your kids as well. There was a playroom, movies on, bubbles, and toys! I will never take my son anywhere else!

Got in quickly, very close to our appointment time. The staff was so friendly and made my daughter feel welcome (shes shy and was nervous). Hands-down, the best first haircut ever for my daughter. The products they sold us were amazing did wonders to her hair. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the store was so kid friendly and very clean. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great experience with friendly staff inexperienced staff. They gave her lollipop free hair clip, and she got to watch Ms. Racheal as she got her haircut in the little Jeep, she was in.

Joy was amazing! She did such a wonderful job with my special needs son! I was so impressed by how calm my son was with her. The energy in the entire building was just nice and calm and very kid friendly. Sensory friendly. I definitely will be back time and time again. Today was our first time and I already booked a 6 weeks appointment! Loved loved loved our experience here. It was our sons first haircut and they were all so nice and did so much to help our son feel as comfortable as possible. This is the most child friendly place Ive been. It seems like kids themselves designed it. After his haircut he played in the play room in the back while we paid and it made the experience so much better. No baby likes having their first haircut but after playing he was crying because he didnt want to leave. Loved being able to support a small business who clearly knows what theyre doing. And of course his haircut came out great. Will for sure be returning.

My husband and I took our son here today for his first haircut and it was such a pleasant experience! We booked with Joy and she was very understanding of when our son started to cry and when he got pretty antsy with moving around. She had tons of toys and bubbles to help settle him down and keep him occupied! I feel terrible for forgetting his name, but there is a gentleman who works at the front desk and he was also a delight. He helped keep my son occupied and took tons of amazing photos for us. I couldn’t recommend this place more, will definitely be back!

We had such a great experience for my son’s first haircut. The hair stylists, Joy and Amanda, went above and beyond to make our son excited and comfortable for something he was nervous about. They were friendly, professional and made the whole experience fun. Our stylist, Joy, also did such a great job cutting our boy’s curly hair. She listened to what we wanted and took her time to make sure his cut came out perfect.

Great place to go for your childs first haircut. They have an aspiring photographer on-site taking photos and captured the whole experience beautifully. We got to keep a locket of her hair and printed out a picture to take home. They have a play room filled with toys and activities for the children to do before and after their haircut and TVs to watch during. The staff is friendly and very accommodating.

Such a great 1st haircut experience for my little guy Daniel! Joy assisted us in successful cutting 12 inches of Daniels hair to donate to Wigs for Kids! As an added bonus, our haircut was 50% off since the hair was being donated! Win, win!! The location is very cute, clean and everyone was so friendly. We will definitely be back when Daniel (and his 2 siblings) need a trim!

Highly recommend Ms. Joy esp if you have kids on a spectrum. She is super patient with my son and very quick to cut his hair. Mr. Courtney is very nice too. My son cried the whole time and he assured us that it’s okay and that I don’t have to worry about anything. The place is very clean and even have a small play area room while you wait for your turn. My 1yr old got his first haircut here and me being a nervous wreck of a mom I didn’t know how he was going to do they all made him feel so comfortable and did such an amazing job ! Jessica cut his hair and she was awesome. She got it done quick even though he was a little squirmy ! She was so energetic, funny and friendly. The receptionist was also very sweet and friendly! 10/10 recommend and his haircut looked so good !

I’ve taken my 2 1/2yr old son here the past 3 times and I won’t go anywhere else! Joy is such a WONDERFUL person and has AMAZING skills! My son loves her and so do I! The last time we went to her she had to fix my son’s hair bc my husband thought he could do it and she did a great job. It was perfect! We love that there are toys and a playroom to keep little ones busy while waiting. The lollipop and treasure chest is also a plus at the end. One of the best experiences I’ve had!! 10/10 recommend. My son is 14 months and we went for his first haircut (did the First Haircut Package). He was so well taken care of and all my reservations/anxieties were immediately relieved. I knew we were in great hands. They put on Ms. Rachel, gave him some toys while cutting, even had bubbles going! He LOVED it. To top it off, we even got pictures taken and airdropped to us, my mama heart was FULL! We got a treat, and to pick from the treasure box…I could go on and on. It is CLEAN, organized, and everyone was so friendly and genuinely cared about my son’s experience. I love this place! We have been to a couple different kid haircut places but this is our favorite! My son WANTS his haircut so he can come here. They have a whole playroom for the kids. Comfortable seating for the adults. They will put on any show your child likes, they will blow bubbles to comfort your child. They offer lollipops or animal crackers after and a prize from the treasure box. They are so kind and accommodating!! I personally love Ms. Joy who has cut my son’s hair twice now!

As a mom of 2 small kids, I was constantly worried about who was cutting my kids hair. That was until recently when I took my son to Christel.She was patient and has the fastest hands. My son is 2, and can be a handful, but she redirected his attention and he sat still and let her do her magic. We are very pleased with his final look, and the experience with her has made us feel like haircuts are not going to be a tedious trip anymore. They were so kind and helpful as my son had a bit of a hard time at the beginning of the haircut. They put on the tv for him, played with dinosaurs, and blew bubbles during the haircut. They were thoughtful in asking if I wanted some pictures taken of his first haircut. The hairdresser was quick and SO good, she transformed his look! I also love that they have toys and crafts in the waiting room to help entertain my kid while we waited our turn for a few minutes. This place is AWESOME!

Amanda W did a phenomenal job on my sons first haircut. She was patient, gentle, and filled the entire room with joy. It felt nice to talk with someone who actually took pride in their job and what the company stands for. The establishment was clean and very well kept.I will say that I do not have an iPhone, and they take pictures to give you at the end, so the ones sent to me were all blurry 😩 (pictures lose resolution being sent from iPhone to Samsung).

Awesome! Amanda and Joy are just awesome. I decided to tackle two haircuts at the same time with two young boys, and they made this such an easy process. This is the first time there was no crying from my almost 2 year old. The place was so clean, and the toys for distractions were perfect for my kids! You want to make sure they get the best experience and thankfully, I found the Pigtails & Crewcuts just near our place (which is very convenient), checked their website, reviews, and pictures so hubby and I decided to check them out.My baby girl had her first haircut there and she had a great time! Ms. Joy was very friendly, welcoming and so patient it made my baby girl’s first haircut experience so memorable. I love how they have cookie treats for the kids after the haircut and not only that, they also give away a free, little toy for them to take home. 😃 Oh and they also have a small room for kids party to rent out. We came here for our sons first haircut. We were greeted by the owner right away, who was super friendly and showed us the whole salon and explained everything. The salon is super clean and super kid friendly. They have a room where kids can color and that could be used for parties. Our son loved the train table. The chairs are different cars which is so neat for kids. There are lots of areas for the parents to sit also. The hairstylist, Birdy, was super friendly and super patient with our squirmy toddler. She did a wonderful job with his cut and dealing with him as well. The atmosphere was so welcoming. We loved everything about the whole experience and will be coming here from now on for all of our kids cuts.

We’re tried several other children’s hair salons in the beaches area and this is by far my favorite. It’s definitely the cleanest and most child friendly option we’ve been to. There is a great room towards the back that can be used for parties but is also open for kids to color and play with toys. Again, everything in the play area was organized and clean. I also loved the products that they carry such as their Wee Ones bows and little gifts. Lastly, my three year old was very nervous and refusing to get her haircut. The staff was incredibly patient and kind to her. Eventually, she felt comfortable enough to try and ended up loving getting a haircut. We will definitely be back soon!

Joy did an amazing job with my son! Both of the ladies did. My son is autistic and has ADHD. Getting a haircut is a big ordeal to him. They made him comfortable by letting him come in a few minutes early to play with their train table. Then he got to pick his own show to watch on Disney. They even had these little magnetic fidget guys that stuck to the train he was in. He was busy playing the entire haircut - he barely noticed what Joy was doing. Once he was finished he got to pick a prize from the treasure box. He was also offered a snack! This was the best experience for his haircut that we’ve ever had, hands down. Bonus - you can schedule the appointment to include additional time. It was cheaper than the places we’ve gone to before, even with all the cool stuff! We’re customers for life now. Thank you!!!

The stylist was very patient which was my worry about finding someone to cut my sons hair. She was very accomodating and when she realized he was afraid of the clippers she did a scissor cut. Awesome! We took my 2 and a half year old son here for a haircut on Sunday and they were amazing. The stylist was great with my fidgety little boy. She was able to cut his hair all while he moved and wiggled and at some points wasn’t agreeable at all to getting his hair cut. She really heard me and listened when I told her about his traumatic first cut at a barber shop and she made sure this time was a good experience for him. The TV screens with Disney+ helped a lot. And they let both my son and his older sister who tagged along pick a toy from the treasure box when we were done with the cut. We will definitely be going back for every hair cut for my little one until he outgrows the chairs! 😊

Took my son for his first haircut here! The service and atmosphere was incredible and they made my son feel so special about his first hair cut. Perfection!I needed someone to work a miracle on my 3 year olds cowlick and Joy delivered. My 2 year who cant sit still for a nanosecond ended up also getting his first cut there. This place is very welcoming and my boys loved playing with the trainsets there. Highly recommend to every child age 0 to 99!

We found this location by chance when we were popping into sprouts and we are so happy we did. We had not found a place my kids liked for haircuts. The experience was outstanding with the tv and games to keep the kids occupied and happy. Both of our kids got great haircuts too! My sons teacher even texted me about how handsome he looked the next day at school. My daughter has already asked to go back and we will be to get some braids from Ms. Birdie. We definitely found our place for the kids haircuts!

My 3 year old son does horrible with hair cuts. The staff here were super patient and understanding with my son. He was able to play with toys and watch movies in a cool car during his haircut which helped a lot. He was still very wild but Amanda was able to help us get him a full haircut. We will be going more frequently.

This was our first time here and it was a great experience! We usually go to sharkies but we were on a time crunch and they had an opening here which was perfect! Birdie did such an amazing job, my son is extremely shy but she did an excellent job at making him feel happy and comfortable, she is such a sweetheart! I saw the shop and went in to see if they had someone in staff that can cut curly biracial hair. I was so happy to meet Birdie and find out she could take my little one so soon.My daughter was so nervous but she was able to chat with her stylist and watch the Disney show of her choice. She went from being nervous to not wanting to leave. Lol. I liked them showing me what they were using in her hair and recommendations of what to buy for home use. We’re definitely going back!

I scheduled an appointment with Pigtails & Crewcuts online. I love how easy it was to schedule an appointment. Every single barbershop that weve taken my 5 year old grandson to has flat out refused to cut his hair. He has autism and ADHD; he will not sit still. It brings tears to my eyes to see my grandson get rejected over and over and over again.Birdie had compassion and patience for my grandson. We felt welcomed on entry! I recommend that everyone visits this shop for an exciting experience where youll feel welcomed and satisfied with the services.

I have taken my kids to 2 other childrens salons before I found this place and the difference is amazing. Pigtails and Crewcuts is VERY clean & organized, but still bright, fun, and kid-friendly. But most importantly, the staff are truly wonderful!A few months ago, I brought my 2 & 5 year-olds for back-to-back hair appointments. Both kids were crying and refusing to cooperate and I was at my wits end because normally they LOVE getting haircuts. (Its the lollipop and prize they get at the end that they love, but, you know...)The owner/operator and the hairdresser (Birdie) very patiently and gently calmed both of the kids down and were able to get complete cooperation from each kid. I was completely floored. Birdie is a fantastic hairdresser as well!

If you are looking for a place to bring your kids, stop looking and bring them to Pigtails and Crewcuts! I brought my 3 boys here to get their haircuts and let me tell you that you will not get better service then what they have provided! I have brought my kids to many different places and this has by far been the best experience! Outstanding customer service! The owner and the hairstylist were extremely nice and took us as walk ins. My youngest son received his first haircut and the staff went above and beyond to comfort him and make it a pleasant experience. It was a very family feeling environment and my husband ended up getting his hair cut there as well! Pigtails and Crewcuts has definitely become our go to place for everyones haircuts!

We LOVE this salon! My kiddo has been a few times, and Byrdie is so sweet and patient. The salon is spacious, very clean, and decorated in bright, whimsical colors. There are tvs all throughout playing kid friendly movies, and 4 adorable vehicle chairs so little ones can pretend to drive while sitting still for a trim. After their cut, they can visit the treasure chest and pick a cool prize!Theres a waiting area with a train table, as well as an additional quiet room where kids can color, watch a movie, or play video games. I think they offer birthday party packages as well!Not only is the salon adorable and full of the cutest amenities, the staff and owners are all lovely and kind. And the cuts look great! Byrdie even squeezed me in for a quick trim after and was done with my son!Cant recommend this place highly enough!!
