    I came into The Masters Touch Salon to shave my head as I was losing my hair from chemo. I was extremely anxious about having to do this and fully expected to spend my entire time in the chair crying. Instead, my stylist, Elle, jumped right in and had me laughing in no time. I spent the entire visit just having a genuine conversation with a wonderful person - laughing and sharing life experiences. Im extremely grateful I went to The Masters Touch Salon for this part of my treatment journey. They were caring, kind, and compassionate and I highly recommend Elle and this salon. Whats more, they didnt even charge me for the visit. I know this isnt a typical salon review as I seemingly had my hair undone but any salon and stylist that shows this degree of care and compassion is certainly the kind of place Id go to again and again.

    Julie was AMAZING!!! I normally loathe having my hair done. She listened to a basic idea of what I wanted and then I gave her free range. She definitely hit the mark. And I will for sure actually keep up with my hair care now and be back in 6 weeks. Ive been to more of the upscale salons before and absolutely hated it. Its like they just wanted you in and out and upsale everything. This place has more of a calm and relaxing vibe. Overall wonderful experience.

    Gina is AMAZING! She did an AWESOME job on my daughters color and cut. My daughter had requested purple and blue and the outcome was BEAUTIFUL! The haircut was just as AWESOME as the color. Gina listened and worked with our suggestions and the haircut came out GREAT! The staff is Wonderful! I highly suggest you see Gina for your hair care needs. I personally got my last cut from Gina and she was GREAT!😊

    Julie is amazing! First off Im a 29 year old woman an really picky about my hair. I travel with my husband on the pipeline so I am constantly changing salons .I picked this salon out of random an good reviews an it didnt disappoint! If i were a local here Julie would be my hair stylist .Shes so comforting an kind an makes sure you get the cut you want. Im so pleased an thankful for such a great job!

    I haven’t serious trust issues with my hair but Sean worked magic. He gave me the color I wanted without having to bleach my hair. All the stylists are friendly and the atmosphere is just calming and nice. Affordable prices too! Always walk out feeling like a million bucks! Highly recommend for getting color in your hair.

    After 20 years doing my hair, it was hard to trust somebody else but the minute I walked in and Shawn explained to me my options everything changed. He was open and honest telling me what would look better, even when that option was a cheaper treatment than what I had in mind!! I would recommend him always!! My mom also got her hair done. We both walked out of the salon feeling like a million dollars! Thank you, Shawn!

    Mary Beth and Shawn did a wonderful job on my hair and my daughters hair for my wedding. My husband and I traveled from Northern Kentucky and got married on a cruise ship. I took a gamble and just called salons to have my hair and make up done, as well as my daughters hair. I wasnt having much luck. Most salons were closed on Mondays (that I called). This salon was closed as well on Mondays but Shawn and Suzy agreed to open just for us for the wedding, and early in the morning too. I was nervous about how it would all turn out. Suzy kept on contact with me via text. I sent her pictures of our hair and pictures of what I wanted done for my hair. I let Shawn just do up-dos for the girls however he thought looked good. He did an amazing job! Mary Beth did my hair exactly how I wanted and my make up was beautiful! I couldnt have been happier with the end result.

    An awesome, unpretentious hair salon, with fair prices and great staff. Mary Beth does a great job with my hair every time and doesnt take forever doing it! And I am VERY picky about my hair, because it comes all the way down my back and I have had others cut wayyyy too much. She customers only as much as she needs to to make it look good, and has the instinct to get the other angles right for my naturally curly hair type. Definitely recommend this place!

    I went there to get my head shaved due to chemo. What I got was a cute little pixie cut. This was done by Gina and I love it. She was so kind and took her time to make sure every hair that I had left was perfect. The salon was clean and inviting. Gina thank you so much for not only my hair but my self esteem.And they would not charge me.

    I am very happy I went to this salon. Theyre one of the few places in Jacksonville that puts customer service first. Sean put lowlights in my hair today, gave me a trim and then styled it. He was very knowledgeable, with over 20 years experience, and friendly with good stories to tell too! Prices are reasonable and my hair looks and feels better than it has in a long time! Will be returning soon!

    Ok so yesterday was a big day for me. First let me say that Im a 29 year old female with hair that comes to my lower back. Ive always had long hair and been terrified to let anyone do anything drastic to it. Ive probably only color-treated my hair maybe 10 times in my entire life. However, recently I have decided that I want CHANGE and I started looking into getting a perm. I read several reviews online since I didnt have a salon and I found this one. First I called on the phone to ask questions about a perm and the receptionist (Shawns wife) sorry I cant remember her name right now, made me feel so comfortable on the phone and had complete confidence that her husband could give me what I was looking for. She suggested I come in for a consult and bring pictures of what I like and he would tell me straight up whether it was able to be accomplished on me.I went in for my consult and he looked at my hair. Tested the elasticity and went over all of my options. Asked me why I wanted a perm and all the right questions. The thing I liked best about this was that he was straight up and didnt sugar coat anything. He didnt tell me that he could make the pictures happen because of the length and weight of my hair but he told me what he could do and the price was super reasonable.Last night I had the perm done and it took around 4-5 hours to do the entire process. Normally, I would be freaking out in this situation because Im always terrified they are going to mess up my hair. But Shawn was so easy to talk to and laid back that I wasnt focused on the fact that I was making such a drastic change. They offered me water, coffee, and even donuts while I was sitting in the chair. The atmosphere was just wonderful!After it was all taken out and styled I am like a brand new person. At first I wasnt sure if I liked it but he definitely did a wonderful job. Once I got home and had some time to get use to it. I think Im in love!! The service here was beyond anything I would ever expect. At the end Shawn gave me a discount on the product he suggested I use and then after I left and got in my car he came out and knocked on my window to give me some special shampoo for my newly curly hair for FREE!!By FAR the best hair salon experience Ive EVER had and considering how picky and anal I am about my hair. Thats saying a lot! Ill definitely be back.

    Amazing staff and salon! I called earlier and they were able to get me in the same day for a color and cut. Shawn was amazing and steered me away from a bad decision on color and did an amazing job and the right decision for my skin tone and face! I have found my salon and stylist until he gives up!     I went in for full colour, cut and style, and Emma who did my hair was amazing! She took the time to ensure I was getting exactly what I wanted, was very friendly and knowledgable. I would recommend her to anyone who wants an amazing hair transformation, she will take care of you!!

    Thay saved my hair! After a super bad color experience at another salon my mom brought me here to be rescued! Julie did a great job on correcting the color and gave me a keratin treatment. I had no appt. and had to drive two hrs. and they made sure to get me in and take care of me! Super friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Truly a blessing! Wish they were in Daytona closer to me...but they made it worth it for me to even do the drive from here! So I will be going there again soon!! They brought peace to me in a very embarrassing situation. Super grateful and highly reccomend this salon!!

    I came in with a chopped up cut from a different salon and Shawn absolutely saved my hairdo! He skillfully fixed all of the choppy edges and angles and shaped the cut like a boss. He was friendly and took the time to make it perfect. Im thrilled with my haircut now and will never go to anyone else. Im so glad I found this salon. Thank you so much!!

    I had a hair keratin treatment with Sean. I followed all his advice on how to take care of my hair after it was treated. I couldnt be happier with the results. My hair is normally frizzy and wavy and the keratin treatment he did truly was magical. I am in love with my hair, so easy to manage.The reason I give it a 4 star is I wish I could have asked him to use a non-formalin solution nevertheless he did an excellent job.

    I would HIGHLY recommend Masters Touch to anyone and everyone! I walked in for my first appointment unsure if Shawn would be able to repair a highlight job by another artist that I just wasnt happy with. He not only fixed the color but made me feel so much more confident by the time I walked out. I will only be going to Masters Touch Salon from here on out and will be going back for a highlight touch up and haircut before my upcoming wedding!

    I have thin hair and hate getting it cut because its often with someone who either doesnt like the job, has trouble with my hair or all of the above. I finally found a place I like!
