Been here four times: two cancer screens and two one-off concerns. Always seen promptly. Care personal and professional; efficient but not rushed. They called in prescriptions promptly and correctly. Was particularly impressed with Sheila Gallego. Plus they are just minutes from my home. Added bonus: quiet waiting area. There’s a TV, but no sound and it’s easy to ignore. Would recommend to a friend.

Absolutely lovely staff. Everyone in the office was super nice and welcoming, very understanding and helpful with any questions/concerns that I had. Mia Hardack was absolutely amazing and so was the medical assistant that assisted her and the medical student as well!! Daniel Hendricks was the sweetest PA-C Ive ever had the pleasure of working with, and his medical assistant was fantastic as well. I was taken back significantly ahead of my actual scheduled appointment time and was assessed quickly and kindly. Daniel answered all of my questions and more, offering plenty of helpful advice and information with a feeling of personal care and interest that I havent experienced from a medical professional in a long time. Ive only just completed my first visit and I already adore this location.

From front desk to staff to check out I have experienced very good flow and competent staff on multiple visits. Staff was very friendly and my practitioner was very thorough. I saw Brandon Nieves here for a full-body skin cancer screening, and ended up having two biopsies done. He was one of the best providers I have ever been to, and I highly recommend this office.The PA and all of his staff was extremely friendly, professional, and efficient (I did not wait very long for anything, even though they worked me in for biopsies at the same appointment). He took his time to listen to my history and concerns, did a very comprehensive screening, performed my biopsies in the same visit so I wouldnt have to come back, and explained everything he was doing and seeing.At a later visit, when I had questions about my biopsy results and if I needed another excision, he explained the evidence behind his recommendation not to have another excision and even printed out the scientific paper that the evidence came from. That is a sign of a provider who is committed to providing patient care that is current and evidence-based.

She always spends a lot of time with him to make sure she locates any possible problem areas, while keeping the mood light and fun. My father has been cancer free for several years now and we have Mia and company to thank for it. I highly recommend Advanced Dermatology to everyone! A+++++

Reading some of the reviews and seeing the low stars this office has acquired, did make me a little hesitant before making my appointment. I am glad that I wasn’t fully discouraged and took the chance with this dermatology team. As a new patient, they were able to get me in last minute, when most practices I called prior wouldn’t take you for 2-3 months!From the front desk, to the nurses, and doctor were all a pleasure. Overall, I enjoy my visits and love their staff. I personally feel they deserve a 5 star review. I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a dermatologist.

Phenomenal. No other word to describe the experience I had today in the office from beginning to end. Would recommend ADCS in Waterford. Appointments were easy to make and the staff was kind. We arrived just before our scheduled time and filled out paperwork. This is a negative review but since they get moved to the very bottom. It is important that most people see the current negative reviews associated with this place. Im not usually one to write reviews but in this case I felt like I had to share my experience. I read through most of the reviews regarding Dr. Brandon Nieves before deciding whether or not I should write my own. I was treated with disrespect at this particular office, it was a slap in the face. I got a referral from my physician for a cyst I’ve had and decided to let them know about my recent reoccurring stress acne as well as hair loss. Dr. Nieves was not patient what so ever with me, I had several questions and I was being extremely polite and aware of what was being said but he decided to leave the room unprofessionally and complain to his manager that he didn’t want to proceed with the appointment and help me. This has never happened to me in any doctors office before and I refuse to believe that this just happened. It was a waste of my time and I’m sure his as well. Extremely unprofessional and uptight. I would not recommend him at all. Waste of time

The employees in the office and the doctor were really nice. The doctor made me really comfortable with getting almost naked in front of him. He also gave great advice about the dryness I get on my face. He said anti-dandruff shampoo will help with the dryness and he was correct. I already made an appointment for next years yearly check-up.

In fact, i had nose cancer surgery in 2019. The doctor was not in this office, but the one in Oviedo was excellent. You cant even tell i had anything done.

I found this dermatologist office to be exceptionally great! I recently was disappointed with another dermatologist in the Waterford plaza area so I decided to find a better one and I’m glad I did. Took my teen here for treatment and we saw Phoenix (Nurse Practioner) and she was excellent! All the staff was friendly, patient, and kind.As we came out of the appointment we could hear a commotion in waiting room of an angry women. Apparently the office was not able to see her due to them not accepting her insurance. Which is probably a good thing, because paying out of pocket with no insurance to help with a specialty doctors visit is probably very costly. My 9 year was misdiagnosed 3xs over a 6 week period. We called so many Dermatologist that wouldn’t even get me in for many more weeks, even months. This place got me in same day! The staff was very nice, understanding and office was clean. We didn’t wait long once we arrived. Dr. Nathoo was the bomb!! He came in and checked out my son, asked a couple of questions and immediately knew what was going on with him and gave us a miracle Ointment! After just one time we saw a huge difference, which got better after each use. After 3 days we see DRASTIC results!!! He isn’t itchy anymore, bumps are almost completely gone. When we needed a release for school, the nurse took care of it right away and even called me the next morning to make sure I received it. Very professional! I received a referral to Advanced Dermatology from my primary doctor and was given an appointment the very next day to have a mass looked at. To my surprise the staff was able to provide me with a full body exam in addition to looking at the one are of concern were able to complete the necessary biopsies the same day. The staff here are extremely friendly and they took the time to explain my treatment plan in great detail so that I felt comfortable and at ease. I highly recommend this practice and will continue to use them for all of my dermatology needs.

Came to Advanced Dermatology after being in and out of UCF’s Doctor office with a cold sore. I had gotten cold sores before, they generally come when I’m stressed with finals, so I knew that this wasn’t my normal cold sore when it stayed with me after the first week and a half. The male UCF doctor kept prescribing me things and tried a bunch of topicals, and after 2 months and many visits, it was still as awful as ever. He said I can try you on another pill, to which I said, no I’d prefer a referral. I wanted a female dermatologist who would actually listen to me when I said “this isn’t normal”, and that is exactly what I got. First visit, she patiently listened to me talk about how this wasn’t a normal cold sore, and once I was done, she was like “yea, based on what you’re saying, sounds like it’s infected.” She then got up close and took one look at it and said “yep, it’s infected. All you need to do is take this and it should be gone in a week. We can make a follow up appointment around then. Sound good?” And what do you know, it went away in a week. If I had gone to her in the first place, I would have avoided so many extremely frustrating moments. 10/10 would recommend.

My 8 year old son had a wart growing above his top lip. The staff at Advanced Dermatology knew right away what it was and what needed to be done. That did a quick procedure to remove the wart and froze it. It was a little painful for him but they did a great job keeping him comforted while removing it.
