    Chelsey B. did an amazing job with my hair. I came in for a “trim” but I what I needed was a conditioning treatment, highlights and an amazing cut. She’s an artist for sure!!     I came in a little after a hour before closing. When I came Chelsey (The best hairdresser 🤩) was an already with a client. I was about to reschedule, but I went over to talk to her. She said she could take some quickly to give me a fresh look. I look so much better I recommend coming here and be with Chelsey. I love it!

    I love working here with such talent. This is also where I choose to get my hair done. Great quality for affordable prices. I would highly recommend everyone of our artistic stylists for anyones needs. The owners are such kind and wonderful people to work for and this salon has become my home away from home. We are a tight family now, and we accommodate many requests for different needs. I wouldnt go anywhere else to get my hair done.     This has been my first haircut since moving to Sarasota: Two thumbs-up for the Bee Ridge location. I called for an appointment and asked for a stylist who knows how to do a razor cut as my hair is thick and wavy with a lot of gray. I got an appointment the same day with Niki. When I arrived I found the store to be bright and clean; the receptionist, pleasant and welcoming; and Niki, my stylist, did a fantastic job following the pictures I gave her that showed my usual cut when my hair isnt three months grown out. She asked questions and gave me exactly what I wanted. I will be back.

    The owner Jason and stylist Amie accommodated me, last minute, after an unsuccessful highlight. Amie came thru with the fix like a superhero (only I wore the cape)! She is truly talented at what she does and knows her stuff!!! I got to watch her digital picture frame go thru her slideshow of the work she has done and its very impressive. From cuts to colors she can do it all!!! While I processed, Jason was keeping busy helping around the salon. Something Ive never witnessed from any owner. I left the building super happy and I highly recommend them!!!

    I went in to fix what a previous stylist had done to my hair, and to my surprise, I got blessed with amazing stylist, Amie, who completely transformed my hair. She added a blend of highlights and lowlights...while applying a soothing conditioning treatment. I am now fiercely loyal to Amie.     I booked an appointment with Dani.. and I am ecstatic. I asked for a stacked bob but she recommended this and I am very happy with her suggestion. This is one of the better places that I have had my hair cut at. A few years back, I brought my son in there, and I remembered how well they exceeded my expectations. What a wonderful staff!

    I just found a hidden gem and her name is Amie Denise @ Fantastic Sams on Bee Ridge Road in Sarasota. I went in with red hair and grey roots and she brought me back to my beautiful brown and gave me the perfect cut for my Valentines getaway to Manhattan 🙂❤️ I brought her in s few pictures of what I thought I wanted and she perfected it!     My experience with Chelsey this afternoon was remarkable! Have been patronizing this location for 8-9 years. My first favorite stylist left after about 3, so since then have been hit and miss - Always good, but no “standouts”.     My daughter went tot his salon to get a haircut. Chelsea cut her hair and did a poor job. We contacted the salon and they assured us we would have a credit for a future cut. My daughter was so upset and decided to go into the salon the following day. We didn’t have an appointment and just walked in. The manager Joan dropped everything she was doing and got us a seasoned stylist named Jeanette. They both took their time and re-styled my daughters hair and gave her a professional haircut. They understood what it happened and understood why we were upset… Joan and Jeanette are the reason why we will be back to the salon. I would recommend both of these ladies to anyone who is looking for a great salon with great customer service! Thank you Joan & Jeanette!

    Let me preface this by saying that this was second time seeing Jeannette 😀 she is awesome! The first time I was pretty well done with all that comes with hair maintenance but, as luck would have it, she fit me into her schedule as she was doing my daughters highlights a few months ago.     Dani is amazing! After a home dye job gone wrong, I thought I was going to have to chop off all of my hair because it was damaged and discolored. Dani reassured me and consulted with me about what steps we would take to fix it without cutting it or causing more damage. I put all my trust in her hands, and I still can’t believe this is the same hair! It turned out gorgeous, and I love it. The color is beautiful and shiny, and my hair looks SO healthy.     Dani is AMAZING!!! I’ve struggled since moving to FL 4 years ago to find a stylist/colorist and have had many bad cuts and color. I showed her pics of my hair, back when I liked it and she understood exactly what I wanted. My hair hadn’t been cut in a few months and had multiple “box color” root jobs - but she worked magic on my hair, seemingly effortlessly!! She gave me beautiful highlights and blended my roots.     I met Irene for the first time and she was amazing! She listened to my concerns and was so helpful on how I could have a hairstyle that fit the type and texture of my hair instead of a hair style that I would like but wouldn’t really work with my hair. She cut and styled my hair beautifully and I can easily recreate this style on my own at home. Irene is also very knowledgeable on which products I should use for the type of hair I have. Everyone at the salon was courteous and fun! Would give Irene 10 stars if I could!

    This Salon is beyond five stars in many aspects price, Quality, Modern, Hi-Tech, Cleanliness professionalism and friendliness.Irene did an amazing cut on my hair I have very naturally curly hair and like to wear it straight, but Im picky and like it cut while straight and dry with a razor, which stylist are usually intimidated to do, but Irene suggested it before I could even open my mouth. She has many years experience. The owner is on site and friendly. The Salon is Modern decorated and equipped with up to date products and equipment, and for all this great service its not breaking the bank. Thank you to all the staff.

    I had the pleasure of getting my hair highlighted by Margarita yesterday. She was so nice, very knowledgeable about hair, and completely understood what it was that I wanted done with my hair. Ive had my hair done at other salons, and I feel like no one never understands what I want. I explained to her that I wear my hair back all the time due to my line of work and I wanted the highlights to be seen with it pulled back and she really did it perfectly. Thank you so much!!     I had my haircut and it was awful I went to Irene and she was a miracle worker. She stayed late and fixed the mess that was on my head.     Excellent service. Friendly staff. I felt welcome soon as i walked in convenient hours. Mon -Friday 8 am to 8 pm sat-sun 9 -6 Sun 10 -4.     I went to Fantastic Sams (Bee Ridge Rd) on a whim. I walked in and was greeted immediately. My stylist Natalya was great. She listened carefully to what I wanted. She colored my hair to the exact shade that blended with my color and looked totally natural. She also cut my hair, which is not easy to do since it is extremely curly on top and straight on the bottom. She took care to be sure it turned out just the way I wanted. Natalya was awesome to talk to and I felt like we had been friends for a long time. I highly recommend Natalya, if you want someone who listens to what you want and doesnt make you feel rushed.

    I recently went to Fantastic Sams at the recommendation of my mother in-law. I was paired with Irene and I showed her a photo of a mid-length cut with sloped bangs. She was able to nail it and give me tips on how to maintain this cut. I recently went to a wedding and it was very easy to style with the minimal products that I could bring on a plane. With their flexible hours and convenient location in downtown Sarasota, I will definitely be returning!

    Had an amazing experience even with COVID precautions in place. Staff were attentive and listened to my concerns and others, and made a point of only scheduling walk-ins. When I called for an appointment I was accommodated and able to get in next day despite the website saying otherwise. I had an amazing experience with the stylist I saw, and my hair turned out exactly how I wanted it to. I will gladly return to her again, and the salon. I’ve been visiting this location for years, but this trip really sold it for me. Things were cleaned between each client and stations were limited to keep distance. Everyone had masks and were polite and respectful.

    Got the best hair cut of my life today.Update: when I originally wrote this back in 2018 there was a lady name Theresa working there who was incredible. A few months later she stopped working there and it I had similar experiences, but not the same. The next person I had was actually traumatizing with one of the worse cuts i have ever had. The whole time they kept saying to the others how they were going to quit in two weeks and their hands smelled like they had just smoked a cigarette. They never started a conversation with me beside what haircut do you want. It didn’t prompt me to abandon ship since I knew they were leaving. After that craziness I did fine another lady was very professional and sweet before I relocated in 2021.

    After two disastrous (and expensive) cuts at Spa Hollywood, I decided to give Fantastic Sam’s a try and I’m thrilled that I did… and that I was lucky enough to have Dani as my stylist. She explained exactly what was done wrong, then fixed it and I’ve never had a better cut. Come to find out that many of her ‘regulars’ are pro stylists themselves and I’m not surprised. I am now a Dani regular, too!

    I have been going to FS for several years and have found some good and bad. You love and you learn and what I like most about the management is that they are always willing to make the customer happy. I have most recently seen Irene at the Sarasota store and she is fabulous. She offers suggestions about color and leaves it to you as the customer to make the ultimate decision. She gave me a great highlight low light and a fabulous cut that ha msg last twice as long as I’m used to. I’m back in the chair today excited for she’ll do for me again.

    I have not had a haircut since March 3, 2020. I got online at 1:30 am and made a very first time appointment with Chantal. I arrived a few moments early and they took me right in. Chantal was very professional, she did not talk my ear off as some hairdressers have a tendency to do! Chantal was very clean and very good with blonde highlights and my cut is superb.The salon was very, VERY clean. I am persnickety about clean establishments and Fantastic Sam’s gets five gold stars from me🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. All the employees were masked, sanitizing and again, professional.I was hesitant to try a chain but I am so glad I did. I will be returning because it was a great experience!😎

    I have been coming here for 7 years. I cant speak highly enough of this salon. Megan and Morgan have been my hairdresser, they are amazing! My kids come here and now my very picky Mom. It took me awhile to convince my mom to come here, her hair can be tricky and people dont always know how to cut it properly. One haircut with Megan, my mom could not be happier and a lifetime customer. Everyone is friendly, talented, and all at affordable prices. Kelly, at the front desk, is more than helpful and friendly. I highly recommend!

    My first trip to Fantastic Sams today and I will most definitely be back! I went in for a trim and was pretty sceptical because I have had some nightmares about past haircuts elsewhere. I was greeted by 3 stylists and blessed with service from Beth. I wanted something different and she walked me through the color and highlight process. We had great conversation and she really is such a cool lady. The place is really beautiful inside.     I love this Fantastic Sams! They are all so nice and very professional. I always feel like they care about how I look and feel. In fact, I wont even think about going anywhere else and I live 45 minutes away! John Frank is who I have cut and style my hair. He is AMAZING! I met him the first time I went to this location after getting the worst haircut of my life. He assured me that he could fix it without cutting to much more and that I would love it afterwards. I have always been that girl who doesnt want anyone touching her hair or if they did freak out if they did it wrong but Sarah is hands down the best Ive ever had. My daughter has very curly crazy hair and yep you guessed it Sarah to the rescue!! I wouldnt let anyone else touch our hair we really love this place and everyone is always so kind!!     I took my son in there today (2/3/2022) to get his hair cut this afternoon and had to wait maybe 10-15 minutes, no big deal. But the girl who worked on my son was phenomenal. She had just walked in and was getting set up. She got my son and started the process.My son was so incredibly happy with his hair and thats a tough thing to accomplish.Idk what her name was but I thank her. My son said they had a long conversation about school and college and stuff and it made him happy to be able to connect to a hair stylist like this.As parents we are our childrens safe place.     Ive always done a walk in because I never decide i need a cut until that last minute. Ive never had to wait very long and regardless of who has picked up my ticket, theyve always done a nice job. I once a had a high-end $160 a cut type salon butcher my hair. I dont have that kind of worry here and i certainly dont spend that kind of money. Win-win!

    Me and my boyfriend felt very comfortable with Chelsey (i think thats how you spell it) i asked for a blunt cut no softening or anything and she did exactly that! Ive had stylists in the past that have kind of bickered with me over the fact that I wanted a blunt cut and no layers or anything and she did none of that. When i asked for a little more cut off she had no problem doing so and waited for me to mess with my hair a little just to make sure that it was the length i wanted. With my boyfriend she went right in with clippers which other stylists have not even though he asked them for it and she made sure with him that it was the correct clipper size. (I dont know about men haircuts so im not sure exactly what its called lol) I didn’t realize until after we already left or i would have asked but when i booked the appt online i clicked shampoo and cut but we did not get the shampoo. I did check the confirmations and it did strictly say just haircuts. Just a little confusing when i clicked shampoo but that is no biggie to us at all. We both are very happy with the service we did receive though !!

    I would recommend using Aleah Rankin if your doing highlights. I went in with damaged hair that turned green and she fit me right in, as it was an emergency. Aleah not only gives five star service but great product knowledge as well. I would highly recommend her if coloring.

    Omg...I cant believe how great this salon is...I was used to a high end salon I was paying way too much, obviously I didnt know before. Mrs. OWNER is so sweet..I do not know her hubs yet. This is my 2nd time there with stylist Ylisla ( sorry spelled wrond) she is 1st station to the right when you go in. Anyhow. Her highlites and cuts have been superb! I have streaky brown and Grey hair her idea for blonde highlights was exactly what I wanted. I have really wavy hair and now she has styled straight and curly. Absolutely Fabulous!! She is smart, funny, listens, and is so pleasant. My hubs also goes there but I dont know the gentlemans name who cuts him. But my man loves him too. We both couldnt be happier!Thx,Sharryl

    Shawn is the best! Great for mens Hair. He looks and gives his opinion on what would work for your type of hair and shape of hair. You can tell he is a pro and does the best fade in town.     I have recently moved to the area and had my hair cut somewhere else for double the price- and the person made my head look like a wilted potato. Today I went in to Fantastic Sams agter hesring their commercials on the radio. I had John as a stylist. He was very warm and friendly, and in no time he had my hair looking sexy and sassy like it should! Thanks John! I cant wait until my daughter needs a cut, and my husband will be there to see you tomorrow! This salon has a great price point, and it feels very nice inside.     My daughter had her hair cut and colored which ended in a catastrophe the cut was awful and the color was completely wrong and faded out in just 3 days I will not mention the stylists name as Im hoping she had a bad day at our expense. We returned to the salon very upset and Barbara the mgr went above and beyond to rectify the problems. Becca worked her magic and transformed my daughters hair into a masterpiece. She took her time to understand what the desired look was and collaborated with colors until she delivered the final work of art. Becca was amazing with fixing the damage and my daughters hair looks healthy and she is so happy. Thank you Barbara and Becca for all your hard work!
