I have been going to Paul James salon over 15 years. Paul salon salon is 5-star service & haircut! Paul was very informative on the best way to care for my hair, including product recommendations for my specific concerns. He took his time on my long hair. Not only did he give great recommendations on my color and cut, He also took the time to listen to my thought and ideas. He also use all high-quality products and he seriously gave me one of my best color and haircuts I’ve ever had. Everyone was so friendly and ready to help. I highly recommend going to this salon.

I had such an amazing experience at the Paul James Salon!! Jenn was my hair stylist and she was so sweet to talk to and did an amazing job on my hair! I have never been happier with a hair style. I got a cut and color and the experience Jenn provided for me was so soothing as well. My hair looks vibrant, healthy, and somehow longer! I will most definitely be going back here next time I need my hair done! I wish I could show off the before and after on here as a testament to her job very well done. :))

Paul James is a salon that greets you like family!!! Paul is a literal genius with all types of hair including my numerous cowlicks 🤣! Coloring is a specialty!! Marlene and Lucas create warmth and execute flawlessly!! We travel an hour to go to this salon because we are used to quality cutting and coloring coming from Toronto where trades are strictly trained!! So lucky we found this salon!!!!

My hair has never looked so good! My color lasts and does not fade. I also got the Keratin Treatment done by Paul and it is amazing!!!The staff is super kind and very helpful. My experience here at the Salon has been like no other! As soon as you walk into this place you can feel the vibrant, exciting, and caring environment. As soon as I walked in, I got a smile from the lady at the front desk and they were ready to take care of any of my needs. Their products are affordable and top of the line! Paul walked me through everything he was doing with my hair to how he cut, colored and styled it, so i can do it myself at home! I was blown away by his kindness and felt extremely comfortable! His work is outstanding!

I love this hair salon. Jen does a great job on my hair, I am never disappointed. Not only is she my hairdresser but a friend as well. The salon is very clean the owner is very nice and funny. Very impressed! I originally had found Paul James Salon on Groupon, so I wasnt sure what to expect. Right away I knew that I had found my new salon! From the initial phone call to my second visit now, I dont have a single complaint. Paul James and his staff are fantastic.Their warm, sincere professionalism is above the rest. Paul James himself colored, cut, and styled my hair, while his friendly staff was right at his side to assist him. I have never met such a focused and talented individual. You are missing out if you dont try this salon. Located in downtown West Palm, its surprisingly affordable! Paul James even offers his own product line, which he sell right in the salon. Trust me, give them a call today!

Paul is absolutely INCREDIBLE and has worked wonders with my mane ;) releasing its natural beauty with his excellent techniques. My prior hair dresser had tons of years of experience in Hollywood and quite frankly, he paled in comparison to the wonders Paul has been able to work with my long and extra thick hair. He does such an amazing job that I refuse to let anyone else touch my hair... I have watched him work on men as well and he does a superb job there too. The staff are friendly and the salon has a great vibe making it next to impossible not to leave feeling great!

I have been going to Paul James Salon since May of 2012. I was very surprised to have read any negative reviews here on Google Reviews. The Salon is clean and beautiful. Paul and Jenn always have the best of the latest trends on hand, and great product lines. I came to the salon needing some mega help with my hair, as mine had become super brittle and generally unhealthy. Jenn suggested we do a Keratin treatment. I had INCREDIBLE results. She then matched me with the perfect color. I send friends and family to Paul James all the time. Again, great stylists, great products, and great results. A+, guys!!

Paul has been cutting the few hairs I have left for going on 15 years.Over those years he’s gone from being the guy who cuts my hair to a friend who happens to cut my hair.His staff is professional, his salon is clean and orderly and he also happens to give a darned good haircut. I’ve read the negative reviews and have no explanation for them because every interaction I have ever had with Paul and his staff have been anything but negative.Do yourself a favor and give him a try.

I adore Paul. His staff and salon are amazing. Everyone is extremely talented and professional. Ive been Pauls client for 7+ years (I cant believe its been that long already!) and he has always provided the highest standard of service and uses only the best products. Ive had Paul do highlights, keratin and other hair treatments, all over color ranging from black to blonde, short hair cuts to growing it long, and it always turns out fabulous. He takes the time to talk with me about the best way to care for my hair and how to properly use products and styling tools. My hair looks and feels gorgeous and I am so grateful. I always look forward to my monthly appointment.

I discovered Paul James Salon over 15 years ago when I admired someones haircut and she gave me Pauls name. He has been doing my hair ever since. Over the years, weve progressed from haircuts to a few highlights and now color. I always leave the salon looking fabulous, so I love to go shopping or have lunch afterwards, and I always go before vacation or a big event. His assistant, Jen, has been with him for years and they are a great team.Ive had my hair long and short and in-between, but no matter the length, in addition to making my hair look fantastic when I leave the salon, Paul makes sure that my haircut works for my every day life, which is really important to me.I think the biggest compliment I can give Paul is this: I was speaking to my adult daughter and mentioned something about having my hair colored. She said in amazement you color your hair? I had to laugh, because Paul had been coloring my hair for two years at that point. Obviously my hair looked 100% natural, which was exactly what I wanted.I drive up from south county and I love the new location. The covered parking is a great asset. It means I never have to worry about the weather ruining my hair before Ive had a chance to enjoy it, and I really appreciate that my car is cool.

If you are not in love with your hair head directly to Paul James Salon.As a fairly recent transplant I’d been trying to find “the place” that worked for me – in the weeding out process I’d acquired totally fried bleached blond hair. I was frustrated and feeling totally helpless about how to fix the damage & get a better look.Immediately understanding my concern about the health of my hair Paul explained that the products they use for color have no harsh chemicals and even have built in conditioning – a major step in the right direction. (It actually smells good!)In discussing color choices he took a significant amount of time to go over many color options and discussed the importance of selecting colors that would work well with my skin tone & eye color. He explained why certain color choices would and would not work well for me and helped me make a great choice that kept the blonde but added depth and warmth. I really appreciated all the extra time (even though I had not scheduled a consultation I totally got one), his immense knowledge and his ability to make me feel at ease.Paul also recommended products (some of which I was already using) and provided instructions on how to best use them (less is better!) that have helped my hair both look and feel healthier.I’d been wondering if hair extensions might be an option to fill in some body I’d lost due to the extensive damage & breakage I had, so I asked about it. Paul showed me samples & explained how they attach the extensions – it’s a completely different and amazing technique – no glue, no bead thing, no damage to existing hair. And the hair quality itself is incredible.But I have a really active lifestyle – workout, scuba dive, mountain bike, paddle board, swim – I was skeptical that the extensions could take it. Paul assured me they could, and I’d built up trust, so I tried it.It’s been about 3 weeks since I did the extensions and I have amazing looking full, long hair again. People notice and comment on it. You absolutely cannot tell that there are extensions in my hair unless you run your fingers through it – which you can do –and even then it’s very subtle, not “lumpy”. And you can brush it from the scalp all the way out to the ends. It’s easy to take care of. And it is totally standing up to an active lifestyle – including frequent scuba-diving, which I did the day after getting the extensions.This is not a mega-salon with 20 chairs where you have your allotted time before the next client needs your chair, it’s a more intimate setting and the staff are all warm, welcoming and the vibe is incredible – great energy and you really feel like everyone sincerely cares about your experience. If you are looking for “the place” Paul James Salon is it!

I Absolutely love this salon! I had the please of having my hair cut, colored, and highlighted by the salon owner himself!He was very professional and did not treat me any different because I was there with a Groupon (which often happens). He even touched up my eyebrows, free of charge, because they looked like a disaster!I was smiling and laughing the entire time; I was offered refreshments a free parking ticket for the garage.They also called me to let me know that it was about time to have my color touched up.Over all this salon was awesome and i will be contacting them for another appointment!

I cant say enough about this establishment. I called hoping a miracle would happen, and that they would be able to fit me in this week. The owner personally got on the phone, and made it work for me, squeezing me between two clients. Once I walked in, I honestly felt like family or someone who had been coming for decades. Paul, the owner, went way above and beyond, and I had an absolute blast hanging out with him. He answered every single question i had (and boy, I had quite a few), and even helped me get out of a parking ticket. Marlen, the assistant sent from Heaven, was an absolute sweetheart. It was the first time in my entire life I walked out of a salon feeling refreshed, and pretty. This salon is stuck with me for life!!!!

Love my hair, I always get an amazing haircut whenever i go there. I always go to the number #1 stylist her Name is MARIA she is tall gorgeous bright smile and always very helpful. She makes me look like a stud everytime i get styled by her i always get great compliments by the ladies. She also waxed my eybrows last time and just letting you know i look great. will recomend to anybody!!!!

I recommend this hair salon ….and I can’t recommend enough Jennifer ….very knowledgeable about the keratin treatment…was very patient and gentle with my frizzy hair ….I came late like almost half a hour to my appointment but she managed to do my hair ….. didn’t feel bored there since she was explaining every step …..very sweet and classy lady…I got out from the hair salon very satisfied by the service ……also the product was good quality…absolutely not that chemical one that suffocate the customer…going back to this hair salon without any doubt
