If you want a salon with a chill atmosphere and pleasant stylists come to Vavaa Satisfaction. I got my hair washed and braided. My hair has never felt so soft after a wash. They even used a steamer while applying the conditioner. Cassandra was my stylist and she was such a pleasure. I decided at the last minute that I wanted longer braids and she did it with no problem. The prices are reasonable too! Come here if you want a pleasant salon experience.

Where can I start… that very particular day was NOT my day… I originally was supposed to travel to Orlando to get my hair done, but I was canceled by my braider 4 AM that morning so I searched and searched and searched until I found someone in West Palm Beach who wasn’t able to take me until 630 that evening then I came across Google and came across VaVaa satisfactionShe did a fantastic job. I came in with a botched look after seven years of having locks in my hair. It’s been so long since I’ve had my hair braided, and I’m so glad that I found her at the very last minute she definitely made my day. My hair was so uneven that she was able to get the assignment done. Thank you so much. You’ve gained a new customer. oh, and let’s not forget about her hair oil. Can’t wait to see the outcome of using her hair oil.

She has light hands which is a major plus in my book!! Her work is nice and clean!! I like her booking process as well. Everything is online and it is very detailed. If you live right in Palm Beach, she is conveniently located. Oh, one more thing. She recommended that I get a hair treatment and I liked that. I’m new to west palm and was looking for a great braider before my cruise. Came across Vavaa on Google and the reviews speak for themselves so I booked. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with hospitality. Everyone is so professional and I was so happy to have a braider that will actually wash your hair too! Even with my thick natural hair, I got an amazing wash service. The entire service was painless, even after I left the shop! I got knotless waist length braids and Vavaa finished so fast I was impressed! You will not sit in this shop all day. They even have complimentary snacks and water which I wasn’t expecting, but it was a nice touch. The atmosphere was friendly and warm. I will definitely be back and send anyone looking for the full salon experience here.

Words can’t describe how pleased I was with my style. I am in the middle of growing out a Mohawk so my sides and back are short. My stylist said no problem and did her magic. I showed her a picture and I was hesitant that it could not be duplicated, not only did she duplicate it she made it look better. I recently got the Lmedium goddess knotless hairstyle and I absolutely love it! Additionally, I got my hair washed and blow-dried, and received a relaxing hair massage. The staff was friendly and the whole process didnt take too long to finish. I booked the appointment using After Pay, which is really convenient for a college student like myself. Overall, it was a great experience. I loved the way my hair turned out and I will definitely come back in the future! By the way, I really appreciate a clean part, so I wanted to share a picture of how my hair was parted :)

When it comes to haircare and styling, the hairdressers here are the ultimate example of excellence. I called them on a Friday afternoon to get a retwist before I went on vacation to California on Monday and they were able to get me in on Saturday morning as soon as they opened. Great service on their part to get me in on such short notice with how difficult it can be to get a retwist scheduled since so many people I know are scheduled out a month in advance. Only thing they didn’t do was wash my hair, which I was left to my own devices to do, so not a crazy downside. Good pricing all things considered and they were kind to me, gave me water, offered me snacks. I was able to sleep while they braided my hair. Will definitely come back and highly suggest this spot to anyone who needs a good retwist in a timely manner.

Vava usually do my kids hair . Today I made an appointment for my self. I must say hands down the best experience I’ve ever had at a salon.I booked for small knotless and that is exactly what I got. My hair was done by the one and only Nancy and another young lady( I honestly can’t remember her name) They were both very professional and knowledgeable of my needs.. The salon was clean with a wonderful aroma when I arrived . I was immediately greeted at the door, once I sat down Nancy began to work on my hair. I was offered snacks and coffee, tea or water.This is a great multi cultural salon.If you have not visited this new location you’re missing out. For starters, I called the salon to enquirer about couple of the services that are offered at this establishment and the lady that I spoke with was so patient and polite even though I was so indecisive about what I want. Eventually, I made an appointment for the same day and I went in and got my hair beautifully styled by Nancy. I got what I asked for and I really love it. Normally I am very tender headed, but throughout getting my braided, it was not as bad, thank you Nancy. Also, the environment was so calmand relaxed, I was so comfortable there. ***I recommend this place ***I had an appointment with Cassandre. It was a great experience. The hairstyle that I requested was performed with care, meticulousness, and professionalism. I genuinely love the results and Cassandre is skilled in what she does.I also had the opportunity to observe two other ladies at work. And both performed a great job with their clients. Vavaa also did a great job styling the hair of a toddler. The style was done with lots of patience (considering how difficult it is to style and keep the attention of a one-year-old). I was genuinely pleased by the result of the hairstyle of the little girl. I am sure that her parents were also satisfied.So far, I have attended two hair salons in Florida, Palm Beach County, one in Lake Worth, and the other one in Vavaa’s. My review will be done not only in comparison with that other salon, price, skill of employees, time, and personal expectations:Price: fair and cheaper than the other salon I attendedTime: For a medium knotless braids, waist length it took me about 4 hours. Only one person was doing my hair. Keep in mind that I had to re-wash my hair as I did not know that I should not have put grease on my scalp. I also had a blow dry, and the hair used also needed to be cleaned with vinegar as I am allergic to synthetic hair. Overall, I would say that the time was also not bad.Professionalism: the ladies are very respectful and kind, you can see that in their nature and behavior. And this is frankly an important skill when having a business with customer service. The employees depicted respect not only for the customers but also with each other.Styling: the style was delivered impeccably by Cassandre. She took her time to do a great job and I am pleased with it.The only thing that I did not like was probably the environment. The ladies did clean after themselves and after each customer. The combs were sanitized, and the toilet was not dirty. However, I think it would be a nice practice to reinforce the cleanliness of the environment and to invest a bit more in it.I would suggest having each station and tools sanitized with alcohol, sweeping the floor, etc, and cleaning in a way that is welcoming for a new arriving customer. I am not saying that they did not clean their area. They did and I saw them clean after each customer. What I am saying is that, for a new person coming in, the first impression is super important. Having someone cleaning the area and stations before and after, and in between customers would be a great practice and would contribute a lot to the appeal of the location. A very deep cleaning of the entire studio monthly, and a deep clean at the end of the week would give it a more pleasant and welcoming atmosphere.Furthermore, the other tip I would give is to just clean all hair with apple cider vinegar whether the customer requests it or not. It would be a great practice, especially for black women and all the toxins that are in these products that we use and their effects on our skin and our body. If we want to braid our hair from time the time, doing it with safe products that won’t affect our health would be a great plus.Lastly, I have so much advice on the administrative side which is more for business improvement. Having a business is hard work, I know and it requires so much sacrifice and strength, as well as integrity. Hence, I would suggest that in the morning before starting work, the manager or an employee check the appointment and service requested, read the comments of the customers, and prepare in advance. Probably coming an hour or two before the opening of the studio would be a great practice. In addition, doing a cleaning of the entire area before work and after the last customer would be great practice as well. And finally, having training for the employees from time to time would help the business.Overall, it was truly a great experience at this beauty salon and I sincerely highly recommend it. I can see it becoming a great competition with other places.

I took my 7 year old to get box braids w her natural hair + beads. The woman who did her hair and Vavaa were great. Very patient and sweet. Fast. And asked me questions about what I wanted it to look like throughout the process. I told Vavaa I wanted it to last for a couple of weeks so they went back and double knotted the rubber bands in the beads. We talked through the size I wanted. Etc etc. They were just very open. It was one of my favorite hair braiding experiences. And the hair came out amazing. It’s actually week 3 and it still looks on point. You could just tell that Vavaa loves what she does. That’s the only place I’ll go to for braids from now on!
