WOW! JOSH SLATER IS THE BEST BARBER EVER!! First let me give you some context: We flew out from Colorado, and my boyfriend needed a quick beard cut. We got breakfast at Carousel Cafe (right next door, also highly recommend), and after breakfast we stumbled across this barber shop, they weren’t even open yet, but were so welcoming and friendly, they were able to take my boyfriend in and give him a quick beard cut. But Josh didn’t stop there, he went as far to freshen up my boyfriend’s hair too to make sure he was walking out of that barber shop fresh AF, and confident for the wedding this afternoon! I am one happy girlfriend, highly recommend coming here, not just because it’s a great cut, but because of the AMAZING service. 11/10 stars!!p.s. Josh even said he would give us the hook up with a barber in Colorado. Talk about customer service - I am speechless!!

This barbershop has a high-end ambiance while still maintaining affordable pricing. Upon arrival, they thoughtfully offer customers complimentary beverages, which is a nice touch.Ive been booking Jay for some time now, and he consistently provides an exceptional haircutting experience. His friendly personality and skilled techniques have resulted in some of the best haircuts Ive ever received.The other barbers on staff also seem to be on top of their game. This place saved me. I got a haircut at a barbershop downtown, and Dylan at APX saved it. The other barbershop ruined my cut 2 days before a wedding- don’t even wanna say the company name to give them exposure but it starts with Xsalo-dumbasses. APX had a spot the night before my flight, I came in and Dylan saved my cut. He fixed the cut I thought was beyond saving. Never going anywhere else but here. 10/10!!! Life changing.

Josh Slater is absolutely incredible! To start, he’s incredibly friendly with wonderful customer service. He was truly interested in getting to know me and my preferred style haircut/beard trim. Next, he is very meticulous with his work. His attention to detail is so rare to find these days. He has a true gift. Most barbers end up cutting my sensitive-skinned neck up, but with Josh I didn’t get any irritated skin. He gave great recommendations for hair and beard products, and even taught me that the cheap product I was using was making my beard too oily. I highly recommend Josh to everyone in the Sarasota/Bradenton area!

Andre’ and the entire staff at APX are excellent. The shop is pristine, the atmosphere is fantastic, and the haircuts are exquisite. I have since moved south of Sarasota and continue to drive over an hour just to get my haircut by Andre’. If you are looking for a barbershop in the SRQ area, look no further.

After trying a number of local barbers and some franchise places like Sports Clips I can wholeheartedly say APX is my favorite. All of the barbers are very outgoing, the shop is clean and family friendly, and the services are reasonably priced. If you’re looking for a barber in Sarasota, this is the place.I also can’t recommend Jay enough. He does a great job cutting men & woman’s hair, doing beard trims, etc. He’s also very friendly & accommodating along with being great with kids. He’s by far the best barber I’ve ever had!

This was my first time at APX Barber and I was thoroughly impressed by Collins work. I had been growing my hair out for about 12 months and was ready for a fresh start. My hair was down past my shirt collar so I knew it wasnt going to be easy cutting all my hair.I showed Collin a couple reference pictures for the type of cut I wanted, he asked a couple of questions, gave several suggestions, and got to work. He meticulously spent over an hour cutting my hair. I appreciated the fact that he didnt try to rush the cut.My haircut ended up coming out fantastically. Ive gotten several compliments about my hair already.I recommend Collins services or any of the services from the gentlemen at APX.

Im new to Florida. As many knows moving is stressful! Starting over by finding new services and building newer relationships. One of those things is finding a new barber. Every barber has their technique. I have to accept my hair might be shaped slightly different. I realize I need to adapt to change. I connected with Andy well. He listened to my concern but also pointed out to suggestions. I trusted him and the results turned out AMAZING! Ive also had done the facial and eye brow razoring on top of my haircut. My experience APX Barber was wonderful and Im definitely booking another appointment with Andy.

I’ve been having Colby cut my hair for many months now and I followed him to this new spot in downtown Sarasota. It’s a great barbershop in a good location with plenty of parking nearby. By far one of the best fades I have ever had. Was on my last day of vacation and happened to walk past the shop on my way back to my hotel, called by chance to see if I could come in for a walk in appointment. Was in the shop 15 mins later and out by 30-35. Barber gave recommendations based on my hair type and expertly faded/blended the sides and back. Will definitely be back in the future!
