*UPDATE: The manager called me and asked if I would be willing to let them fix my nails. I agreed and made an appointment with Trish. She did an excellent job. I would definitely come back to see her! Great customer service.Not the best, not the worst. I recently moved to this side of town and have been trying to find a new nail salon so I decided to try out Ooh La La. Everyone was very friendly and personable but the quality just wasn’t there. I requested a regular polish change on my toes and SNS change on my nails with chrome powder. My toes weren’t polished very well but it wasn’t the worst I’ve ever had so I didn’t really say anything. I did have to request that she reshape my nails a couple times as two of them were very clearly crooked. She did the almond shape ($6 up charge, which I’ve never seen before so that’s a con as well) like I asked but by the time they were cut down and filed so many times they were much shorter than I usually get/was expecting. The salon has dim lighting so I didn’t notice until I got home that a couple of my nails were lumpy (Was hard to get my camera to focus on my nail, but the lump is clearly visible in person). I may try them again one day if I don’t find another salon I commit to.

I go there for SNS Dip Manicures, and I only go to Lee. Have never left disappointed and my manicures always last up to 3 weeks when he does my nails, no chipping or anything. He is the best! He is also great at reccomending colors when I have a hard time deciding between all the options.

I just recieved one of the best pedicures Ive ever experienced! From the moment I sat down, Ms. Joan was very accommodating. She offered me water temperature preference for the tub, gave suggestions/recommendations on nail colors and did magic with her hands when it came time for the massage. She was very nice and friendly and did a phenomenal job on both my gel pedicure and dip powder manicure. She did not have a color I chose and she was able to recreate a dip powder color by mixing other dips together and the results were amazing. Also, Ive notice that sometimes the dip comes out thick but she did a great job at thinning them out to make them look as natural as possible! I recommend Ms. Joan as your next nail technician at Ooh La La Nails & Spa! Thank you for the great experience. I appreciate it.

My experience with this salon was amazing! I have been to other nail salons but I could not find anybody that does acrylic nails at my expectations. Oh la la nail salon delivers well. I have to mention Joann was my nail tech, and she did a fantastic job. See for yourself! I am very happy with the service at Oh la la. Great customer service. Overall, I recommend this nail salon to anybody!

I was greeted nicely and found the salon to be nice and clean (very hygienic) with pretty and comfortable decor. I was attended to quickly and Christine did a great job on my feet. I think I’ve found the one! 😀

Why do I love ooh la la nails on Hodges so much? They make my SNS nails look like they are my natural nails, not thick and globby. They always remember our names before we sing in even! They never smell like chemicals that make my head hurt. They always have a relaxing atmosphere. And great prices to boot!

Best manicure I have ever had! I was struggling to find a color similar to what I had in mind and Emily was very patient and helped me find something without getting frustrated or annoyed with me. I absolutely LOVE Ooh La La! My go to Nail Tech is Anna and she is sooooo sweet and does GREAT work! All of the staff there are EXTREMELY friendly and they definitely honor appointment times. Tony the manager is also AWESOME! Because of their outstanding service I choose to drive 30 minutes from my side of town to get my nails done. If you want great service come here!!

Amber put on a full set of french tips. She is a friendly professional artist. I will definitely use her again. David created 2 big toe nails using acrylic, as my were damaged from trauma and also trimmed my nails and polished. He did an amazing job and the conversation was great also. Ill be going back in a month and adding a Mani/Pedi and waxing too as my son is getting married.Thumbs up, Paula F.PS see piks. The toe nail polish is the color of my dress, not sure if Ill wear it or go with pink to match my nails. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Ive been coming to this salon on and off for years and I keep coming back. This is hands down The Best salon in the area! You always feel welcomed, it is always clean and you will leave with gorgeous looking nails. All technicians are great, and it is easier to make an appointment rather than walk in, as the wait could be a bit long. But, can you blame them? Wow, just wow. Took my father for his first ever pedicure and I treated myself to one also. And it was a treat. We both received the Tropical level and it was delightful. The facility is clean, lighting is perfect, music was soothing, overall very relaxing and inviting. From the front desk to the technicians, everyone was so friendly. Katheryn and Neoh were wonderful. Highly recommend!! Note: Im front out of town but he is a resident and said he would be making this a regular outing. What a great way to treat yourself!

Today I went for the first time for a mani and pedi. Its very clean, beautiful decor, very spacious. A sweet technician named Amber was appointed to me and she did a marvelous job. Everyone was very professional from start to finish. The young lady name Kathi who took care of me was friendly and focused on me as her client. So many of these nail places have employees that are more concerned with having conversations with one another than focusing on there client and than expect you to tip them. Treat your customers like your doctor treats you when you go into his office he or she gives you there undivided attention and are not concerned with having unrelated conversations with there staff while examining you, so do the same foryour clients and give them a good experience. Oh la lagives there clients a great experience by focusing on them at all times.

Loved it! Bee and Lynn were great! Went with my mother and we each got dip nails and they turned out better than expected! Possibly the best my nails have looked. She accommodated my color preference and added a white layer under the less opaque color so that it wouldn’t be transparent. Nails actually filed and beveled to make the dip look like a natural nail. Will be going back for sure when I’m in town!

I made an appointment over the phone and got text confirmation before I arrived. Greeted right when I entered, every customer had to wash their hands upon entering, chairs all seemed very clean, and majority of staff were wearing face masks.I came in for a basic pedicure, $25, and Monica talked me into gel, which is only an additional $15. She was super considerate and careful while trimming and filing which was great because my feet are kind of sensitive. She communicated with me throughout the time and made sure to check on how the water temp felt, if I wanted a drink, if I was comfortable, etc. Monica was efficient and thorough, I didn’t feel rushed by any means, even though we were done in under an hour. She checked on little things too like if I wanted just one more coat (I did!) and if I wanted the “cheese grater” (I did not!). Overall I had a great, clean, friendly experience here and will definitely be back and recommending to friends too.

Excellent customer service. Lynn and Calvin were fun and talkative. Calvin does a perfect gel manicure and Lynn also did very well on my SNS. She removed the acrylic I had on very gently, with no pain and no nail damage. So many beautiful gel colors as well. Very clean and neat salon. They open very early as well which is a definite plus. I loved everything about my experience. This is not my normal nail salon but I came here in a crunch and I was not disappointed. I had a small glass of wine while I waited, I was a walk in. Very clean and polite. Kid friendly, I like that. Wish I couldve had another cup of wine mightve made my tip better. I still tipped well. They limit it to one small cup. Anyway, good job on my nails. Wanted to try a place closer to home. I went for a pedicure as soon as they opened at 11am on a Sunday and they were busy. The salon is very clean, nice lighting and while in a strip mall doesnt give off that vibe at all.My tech was friendly, professional and did a great job. If you are looking for quality service this is the place for you. The ambience is very nice, The deluxe pedicure was phenomenal! However, after my manicure was completed Lee walked around the chair and gave me a neck massage, I didnt even know I needed that, but when she finished I was fully aware. I love the customer service and all of the technicians are personable, hands down best nail salon I have ever experienced.

This is my go to spot now since January when we moved back to Jax. It is a little on the high side but I don’t mind paying for good nails. I always feel welcomed when I come in as a walk-in (appointment is better, but I enjoy the wait to pick out colors and not having my kids with me 🤣) I don’t have a specific nail tech I see as I have not had a “bad” one yet. I currently drive 40+ minutes one way to get my nails done here. Extremely worth it!

Thanks to a referral from my co-worker, I finally found my new nail salon! Ooh La La Nails & Spa has a wonderful, welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Prices are reasonable and worthy of what you will receive as a customer. Henry did my nails and provided excellent service. I also observed and noticed the perfected skills and professionalism provided by the other nail technicians in the salon. This team of nail technicians is obviously current in the knowledge and techniques with todays trends in overally nail-care and style.

I moved to Jacksonville four months ago and I am have struggled to find a good nail salon. I am so glad that I saw this place was open on my way home from work. They were pleasant, they did not try to sell me something I do not need, and they have colors that are suitable for all styles. I like neon colors but my sister likes neutrals. Both of us felt like the selection at this store was better than any other salon we have tried before. I think I have finally found a nail salon that I want to come to on a regular basis 😍

She does such an awesome job on my sns nails. I took my girls to get pedicures and we had a great time. They are younger, but they had great conversations and were treated like little princesses.One thing to note is they dont allow babies to lap sit or in the strollers so keep that in mind. This was our first time, and I had my 9 month old and they allowed her to sit with me but just reminded me on the way out that next time it wouldnt be allowed.

I have been biting my nails for the past 22 years and have never gotten my nails done before. I went in with the intention of getting a full set of acrylics with gel polish, however my tech recommended tips with OPI dip powder, as I wanted short nails for my work where I frequently use gloves. Despite the horrible quality of my nails, my tech JoAnn did an amazing job and was able to match them perfectly to a picture I had provided. She took the time to match the multiple colors in the picture with the colors they had available. I was really anxious to let anyone see or touch my nails, but she didnt make me feel uncomfortable about my awful nails and was so sweet. I arrived roughly an hour and 10 minutes before close, and they still were able to see me and stayed late to finish them. The cost was affordable and even though I initially came in for a special occasion, I plan to come back regularly to see JoAnn and get them done. Thank you!!

For the first time I had a SNS manicure (it’s a dipping process) because it wasn’t offered at my regular salon in Philadelphia I don’t know how they do it, but it is 10000xs better than gel. After 3 weeks no chips and I just go back because my nail bed is showing due to growth.You also get a real nice salon style treatment. Well worth the time to sit back, relax and leave feeling so good.

Im from out of town and just got pedicure at this salon. It was amazing! Sweetest people ever and a $35 Deluxe pedicure that is worth SO MUCH MORE! It was fantastic. If you live in this area, this is definitely the place to go!!

Visiting Jax and read previous reviews.Very welcoming. Everyone must wash hands before service even though I was getting pedi (great idea). 14 pedi massage chairs and 24 manicure stations. Each one divided by plexiglass. I got the Oh La La pedi. Great value. Wonderful massage with different creams, exfoliation, black stone massage and paraffin wax on feet(feet placed in plastic bag and each leg wrapped in hot towel). Probably the best pedi Ive ever had (and Ive had alot in US and different parts of the world). Highly recommend Amber...wonderful and very patient when I tried to choose a shade from about 100+ colors!

I cannot say enough good things about this place. I arrived just as they were about to close, but they accepted me without a second thought. What they didnt know is that I leave tomorrow for my brothers wedding and that I couldnt get them done ahead of time because I am a veterinarian and my job is not conducive to keeping nice nails. I also got out of work late today because of a few late walk-ins to my vet clinic....so I understand the struggle of dealing with late nights....they still did not cut any corners and gave me an incredible mani/pedi! I will definitely be coming back and will recommend to anyone looking for a place in the area. Thank you to everyone in the service industry that goes above and beyond :)

I was a walk-in and from what I understand now, its very rare on Thursday, Friday or Saturday to get in if you havent made an appointment. (Note to self). Technician was very polite and professional. I would certainly ask for David when I go again, which I plan to do.

First Off, love this place. I literally come all the time for pedicures as well as manicures. I love my gels that I get on my nails. They can stay on for a long time without chipping, basically looking brand new two weeks later. The staff is friendly, the place is newly redone and very clean. I am very picky about my nails as well, I have been multiple places and found Ooh lala and wont go anywhere else. Prices are very reasonable as well. So basically if you want an amazing pedi or mani and not pay over the top prices, then here you go... This place rocks!

Love the nail techs. Only reason I dont rate it a 5 is because I will go in for a walk in and there is only 1 nail tech that does SNS. or only 1 nail tech thats doing acrylic. I do SNS and my mom does acrylic. So to drive 25 minutes over there for us to get our nails done and be told that the only SNS tech, or the only acrylic tech is fully booked is kinda frustrating. This had happened to us more than once.
