    Jonathan is amazing. Ive been going to this salon for 12 years and have always had great service. I recently switched stylists from Larissa to Jonathan, and while both are amazing, Jonathan is by far my favorite. His foiling and cuts with curly hair are A+. Go check him out!

    Cannot speak highly enough of Carlos and Shanna. They are truly good people who care. My father was in an accident and after being in the hospital for months they went out of their way to not only handle his hair, but to visit him and even bring him food. These are truly good people at For Your Eyes Only. 10/10 HIGHLY recommend.

    This Salon deserves a 10 stars. I am not from this area, Im from NC. Here on business and I called so many salons to get a blowout. They accepted me right away. I went in, and I met the Owner. Carlos, HE was Phenomenal with his employees. Also awesome customer service. He makes everyone laugh, and thats a good thing in the job industry. My hair salonist was a man. Now Im very particular about my hair and I told him. He was the 1st man that ever did my hair. His name is Paul Martinez. I tell u what, he is freaking awesome. He gave me advice on how to help my hair, and tips on how to care for it. His wash and blowout is fantastic. I love leaving a salon happy, and satisfied. He kept me laughing, and was very courteous. We need more like him. And definitely more owners like Carlos. 💯💯💯😊😊😊

    STUNNING! I went to Gail with a major last minute problem. Thursday my hair was botched at a different salon and Gail knew exactly what to do it make the color what I wanted, Friday. She took her time and prices were reasonable! The owner was super friendly and engaged in all the customers while I was there.

    I had a great experience at this salon. It was a hour drive but it was well worth it. The masseuse/aesthetician was amazing. I’ve gad 22 massages in 22 different establishments and this was the best massage and facial I’ve had to date. I also had a manicure and pedicure which was relaxing and very well done. I really don’t do too many reviews but for your eyes only it’s worth my time to let you know if you’re looking for a spa in Jacksonville Florida “ For Your Eyes Only” is the spa to go to.

    All-in-one hair salon!! Tatum is awesome- shes done my highlites/cut about 4 or 5 times now, and has consistently done a fantastic job!!! I love my hair color, cut and blow dry and have received compliments on my hair every time.This last time, I decided to get my nails done after my hair and Im glad I did. Lynne did a fantastic job with my SNS French polish- she was on-time, professional, and personable. Im not usually a talker-I like to look at magazines, but we had such a pleasant conversation and I love my nails!!!I would definitely recommend Tatum and Lynne...and For Yoyr Eyes Only.The whole experience from start to finish is top-notch!

    Carlos and his team are fabulous and I highly recommend them. The salon is clean and well taken care of. I’ve been coming to this salon for years for a cut and color, and finally built up the courage to do a balayage and lighten my dark hair a bit. Carlos did a phenomenal job and I regret not doing it earlier! The stylists listen to what you want and make recommendations on what would look best and I’ve never been disappointed. They’re also genuinely nice people… and the wine while you’re getting pampered doesn’t hurt.

    Love this salon. Wonderful talented stylists geared to assisting each client. Staff always warm and friendly greeting everyone that enters. Although Carlos is not my stylist he is full of energy and creates a enjoyable atmosphere for all. I moved here a little over a year ago and having had the same stylist for 30 years I was weary about finding a new salon and stylist. So fortunate to have walked through FYEO doors.

    I moved here last year and someone Thankfully gave me the recommendation to see Carlos @ FYEO because I was ready to fly to NY to get my hair done. The whole place is full of energy and the staff is welcoming and friendly. Carlos is a lifesaver. I am so glad I was spared the endless stream of bad hairstylists and found him right away! Go here, see anyone and I am certain they will make you look and feel like your best self.

    I was so pleased with this spa and the services from start to finish. I had the package including mani/pedi, massage and facial! Ive had each of these services at other places before but can say confidently that each of these services were the best Ive ever had! Lynn was so sweet and relaxing with the mani and pedi and she did a fantastic job. Noelle was extremely knowledgeable and receptive with my pain tolerance and adjusting the facial accordingly. I highly recommend this salon and spa to anyone!

    I followed my stylist Wonderful Whitney to this salon. I quickly realized it is owned by Carlos who did my hair in the late seventies. What a great surprise! He creates a fun environment. Whitney is still fabulous and this salon has so many services- a one stop beauty place. I also had individual eyelashes applied to fill-in my tired upper lashes- they are great!The more I go, the more I love! I hope Whitney stays- I would have difficulty following her from this salon. It’s fantastic!

    Had my first appointment with Genesis. I wear an asymmetrical pixie cut and have not had a quality cut for some time. She sat with me to understand what I wanted made some suggestions and I put myself in her capable hands. The end result was amazing. She cut it so I could wear it a number of different ways with or without hair products. I also met Carlos the owner who was pleasant and made me feel very welcome. I will definitely be going back! This is a one stop shop for all your beauty needs so will also be looking into other services. Highly recommend this salon.

    I moved to Jacksonville over a year ago and havent had my hair cut since before COVID. After searching on google I saw all the reviews for this place so my friend and I decided to call and book today. They had 2 spots available which was great because it is a Friday 🙌. We walked-in and instantly loved the whole vibe of the place ❣️. Paul washed, cut, styled my hair and I was confident with him the entire time. I already booked my next appointment for color with Paul next week. My hair and I feel great and I enjoyed a glass of 🍷while being pampered! This was much needed and we had a great experience at the same time.

    I will preface this by saying I absolutely hate getting my hair done. It usually takes so long I get super fidgety. Its a whole thing. However, I can not say enough nice things about this salon. Tatum did an absolutely amazing job. My hair looks awesome. She listened to what I wanted and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. It was the most fun I have ever had getting my hair done. The owner walks around and interacts with all of the customers giving it a family vibe. Loved it! Will never go anywhere else!     Wonderful experience every time I go. Everyone there is so friendly and you can tell they all get along which makes for a great atmosphere. The owner, Carlos, keeps everyone laughing. But it is no laughing matter when it comes to hair styling. My stylist Kim, is very dedicated to her profession. She always has ideas and i feel very comfortable saying whatever you think Kim I am always happy with the end result because I know it was a well thought out and perfect decision. The reception is always great too as I am one of those clients that waits too long and then must get in that week. They go the extra mile to try and fit me in.

    I had cut color and style by Genesis. She was very meticulous, professional and friendly. She gave me exactly what I wanted. The atmosphere was very friendly, and clean. The owner Carlos came and introduced himself to me. You just don’t see that in most businesses anymore , and I really appreciated that. It shows he really cares about his customers.     I went in to try this place today because Im new in the area and looking for a place to get my hair and nails worked on... And now I think Ill never go anywhere else! I had a pedicure and eyebrow wax with Lynn who was amazing and then got my hair colored with Abbey who was so great at explaining the colors and did a wonderful job!!     Genesis did an amazing job on my hair! I showed her what I was looking for and she surpassed my expectations. My family and friends are extremely impressed with the results too.     What a beautiful, classy, relaxing place!Abbey did a wash and style for a branding photoshoot I had and my hair looked AMAZING‼I got compliments all day on how gorgeous my hair was! My husband said he had no idea I could still take his breath away after being together for 5 years.I actually got a little aggravated with him over something that day and I was getting snippy and raising my voice and he said, I know youre upset, but youre just so beautiful that all I can think about is how lucky I am to have you.I will definitely be returning!Also, the owner recognized a new face and came over to say hello to me and complimented me on my hair before we did anything to it!Best experience Ive had in a salon 💯

    Jewel was absolutely hands down one of the best hair stylist i have ever been to. Not only did my color come out great she made me feel welcomed. Im not an overly talkative person and i normally just sit quietly while i get my hair done but she and everyone at the salon jokes ,plays around, and works in an amazing environment.     I was nervous about finding a new salon after moving from out of state. This was my second try at a salon, and I’m so pleased with the results. Lauren was super friendly and did an incredible job taking me from blonde to a deep red - and we had time for a Brazilian blowout too! I also got to meet Carlos and he assisted with mixing colors to make sure we matched the reference photo I provided. I definitely recommend the salon (everyone seemed to be in good spirits and were all super knowledgeable). I will definitely be coming back to Lauren from here on out :)

    This is the best place to go. Everyone is so awesome here. My 2 daughters and myself love our hair. Our guy Paul is one of the best. Carlos the owner and Mrs. Cynthia at the front desk are wonderful too. They all always make me laugh and they all make you feel like you are part of their family.     Ive had my hair cut, blown out, high lights, low lights and eyelashes done. Most of the services have been performed by Colby, and I love her! She is fantastic! The salon itself is clean and neat. Some members of the staff are a little more personable than others, but generally theres someone for everyone.

    I went in today to the salon and my stylist was Carrie she did a great job she was very patient gave great advice I had never colored my hair before at a salon and it was a drastic change I love my end result if you wanting a great stylist or great place to go and relax Spa get your nails hair eyebrows all that great stuff this is the place.Its been in business 30yrs Carrie has been doing hair for 9 the owner was very nice I had long hair an another girl had to help it made ppl late because my hair was some much work .... they were very patient and nice..I recommend this place the people are great and very nice I had to book in advance 3 weeks but well worth the wait.     I have been going to this salon for a few years and they have always been very accommodating to my needs and fit me in when needed. I see Julie for my nails and Shanna for my hair and they are absolutely wonderful! I also take my 4 year old daughter there and Deborah does a great job with her! I wouldnt go anywhere else!! And everyone is so friendly and fun!

    My husband and I always come get our hair cut here! We LOVE them! Nick is amazing with my husbands hair and Gale has been the only person to touch my hair in about 5 years!     Best salon I’ve ever been to. Every time I get my hair done here it feels incredibly healthy. They do very well with color. I have box dye damaged hair trying to go from dark brown to blonde and I have been impressed with the results. I have only done two treatments and my hair is already very blonde. The owner is awesome! You will not be disappointed!

    First time customer today, very impressed! I received an eyebrow waxing with tint and unexpectedly, my first facial, by Kassidy B. and was completely blown away! First everything in my room was extremely clean, which is a must in these times! Second, Kassidy was very particular while doing my eyebrows as I am picky, but now I will never ever go to another place or person again! Lastly she informed me on the 25$ off sale for facials, I was nervous but Kassidy was very thorough, letting me know exactly what would happen before and after. It was amazing! Left with what felt like a beautiful new face and a coupon for a 10$ off hair cut! Thank you Kassidy and FYEO for being clean, professional and exactly what I needed!

    My hair color was with Genesis. I was so happy after such a long time with my hair transformation. She took time and made sure to give the best service possible. The only thing I had little hesitation was, especially now in this pandemic, I did not see that much involvement in wearing mask. The basin where you wash your hair is not even 1 ft distance, i was literally next to some teenagers and they were not even wearing mask. Being a part of the healthcare, this is something I recommend you guys should follow now. There might me some people with chronic condition wearing mask. The situation is different now even though you sanitize, extra precautions are much needed. I hope next time I will feel more confident about Hygiene. Overall experience is great. Thank you!

    My husband got me a Groupon deal of a spa day here that included massage, facial and mani pedi. And it was all wonderful!! Everyone is super friendly and down to earth. Cynthia who did my facial was awesome! She gave outstanding customer service and did an amazing job. They offer wine and make you feel like royalty.     My stylist Abbey was really sweet. But I told her, I do NOT want to be blonde. Well I walked out and washed my hair immediately. Im still left with super blonde highlights. Very sad and disappointed. I get my hair done once a year so its a HUGE treat for me but unfortunately, I left feeling disappointed.UPDATE: I reached out to the salon and they were very accommodating. I have another appointment so they can fix the color so Ive updated my review.

    Growing up with a stylist as a mother, Ive never had to pay to get my hair done. Since my mom has now aged and unable to do my hair anymore, I was forced to breakdown and finally have to pay for this luxury. I hit the jackpot with FYEO!! I decided to get bright purple streaks for something a bit daring. My stylist, Shanna, was very honest and said Id be lucky to get a few weeks out of it if I took good care of it. It did last almost a month and Ive colored it once myself since, and Ive literally had compliments every single day-no exaggeration!! People stop me everywhere-even men! The manager at my local Publix commented as I was walking by him a few weeks ago. I swear I feel like a rock star! Its not the cheapest salon, nor is it the most expensive, but absolutely worth every penny. The owner always makes it a point to chat with every single client, old or new. Love love love this salon-10 stars!!!

    Sandra did my manicure and pedicure it looks great. Noelle did my massage and it was the best one Ive ever had, she helped me relieve so much pain. Cindy did my first ever facial and my skin is glowing. Went in using Groupon for a spa day and overall they treated me very well and the experience was fantastic. I WILL BE BACK. Groupon or not.

    I had permanent eyeliner done and I absolutely love it! Sarah does a wonderful job.It took 3 visits to get to the thickness I wanted as she is conservative but she does explain that right from the start. After all you can always add more but you cant take it back once its done. Thank you Sarah I love my eyeliner!!!!❤

    I came in for permanent make up. Sarah was very straightforward with me and went over everything we would be doing, how it would look, and what may happen and how to proceed. Everything she said was spot on! I love that kind of honesty and frankness. I love my eyeliner! It looks great and most people cant figure out what is different until I tell them.     Tatum is such an incredible beautician I showed her a pic of what I wanted and she did exactly that! Shes excellent with not only color but did an amazing cut and style as well. .     This salon is honestly the best salon I have ever been to. I came in with hair that I thought was unfixable. I attempted to color and cut it myself (terrible idea by the way.) I had about 4 different colors in my hair because I did It myself and am clearly not a professional. It was damaged beyond belief. Jewel was taking care of me and completely transformed my hair. She made it all one solid base color with beautiful red highlights. She cut off so much dead hair without having to take off too much length and made my hair look healthy again.     Maria did an amazing job on my hair for my first time there. I have very curly hair and it is hard to find someone who can cut curls the way they are supposed to be cut.     I have been going to FYEO for the the last 15 years. This is by far the most gorgeous full service salon in all of Jax. The entire staff is great, Carlos, the owner is a skilled stylist, an amazing business man, giver to the community and runs a very welcoming salon.     I went in today for a facial, massage and mani/pedi. Everyone was wonderful. The owner recognizes new clients and regular clients, treating them all as family. My facial with Cindy was amazing, it is very relaxing, but also insightful. Cindy is knowledgeable about skin types and what is best for them. My skin has never been more smooth. I told the massage therapist that I had a headache and she targeted muscles perfectly to relieve my pain. I have never had a better mani pedi, the tech was quiet, but she works very quickly and provided me with healthy, neatly groomed nails.

    The cosmetic tattoo artist at For Your Eyes Only Salon, SARAH, is very talented! I was nervous about the idea of getting my eyebrows tattooed, but I chose Sarah because I saw her work on other people and had faith that she would be able to create the look I have always wanted. She was very clear with me about her process, method, and ultimate plan. I would highly recommend her to anyone who has always wanted to take this step but has been hesitant due to seeing people with bad tattooed eyebrows.     I first came to For Your Eyes Only Salon & Spa with a Groupon for a shellac manicure and regular pedicure. I brought with me my best friend, and new sister-in-law(s) as I was going to be getting married the next day. When I inquired about the potential of getting an up-do done the next day - my wedding day - I realized I was taking a risk that I might end up regretting, or even having to have to wash and return to my eu naturale after a wash and style at home - I had been considering doing a simple sweep or only curling my long hair. Still, we had all enjoyed the staff (including, rather especially, the exuberant, high-energy and exceptionally professional and friendly owner Carlos, who goes out of his way to make everyone feel so very warmly welcomed and appreciated for bringing him business) and the Mani/Pedis we had gotten were also done very well, so I scheduled an appointment with Larissa, promising to bring a photo of the up-do style I was thinking of, as well as the fascinator (Birdcage) that I planned to wear. My best friend also made a hair appointment for styling, so we would be returning together to enjoy yet another appointment (How often can you say that about a salon that youd never been to prior to that?) WOW!! Larissa BLEW me out of the water with her attention to detail, her quality styling and ability to emulate (perfectly) the photo I had brought! Additionally, she offered to do my wedding make-up, and since I had placed my tresses in her trust, I believed 110% she would complete the same wonderful transformation!! Without question, she accomplished a wedding miracle! :) I looked like I had just stepped off of a movie set! :) Today, I returned for a haircut and style, getting rid of approximately 8-9 and once again, Larissa knocked it out of the ballpark with her picture perfect cut and style!! (I had brought another photo of course!) Larissa clearly enjoys her job, has been highly trained and is a true artist and consummate professional! Thank you, thank you, thank you, For Your Eyes Only Salon & Spa - and Larissa and Carlos! I will look forward to following wherever you may go (and Ive never had a stylist that I have felt that way about!) - and as you move to your new site!

    When I first came to For Your Eyes only, I had the hair of a mad woman. I had bleached the underneath of my hair and then died it purple, which then faded to pink, then to peach, and it was a monstrosity. I went to Ralph to get it fixed, and fixed it was! Hes dyed and cut my hair multiple times and Ive been satisfied each time. Recently I made the mistake of putting all sorts of colors on koolaid on my head, and once again, he revived my hair back into a beautiful state. I request him every time because he is fun, relatable and fun to talk too. He is easy going and awesome with hair, he always knows just what to do to make you look good, even if you showed up looking like a fool. Trust me, I would know.

    Carlos Alvarado has been my hairdresser for 6 or 7 years. Ive come to him with the worse mess and he saves me everytime. He always seems to know just what to do. FYEO IS truly fantasic salon with an amazing staff.

    This is great place to get a hair cut. Were friends with most of the people that work there. Everyone is very nice. They do very well hair styles and hair coloring. They also do nails. I recommend this place.

    Linh did my nails, she was sweet and gentle. She did a mani and pedi on me. It came out pretty and the massage was great. I decided I’ll be back for her. She didn’t talk too much or seem pushy or anything. Lol

    This place has great service and talented hair stylists.. my favorite by far is Jewel. She is probably the queen of balyages. I recommend her for any kind of hair color!!
