    Hollywood did an awesome job on my kids hair, best cut hes had in a while. He has thick hair with medium curls, we often end up with it too short up too or too long on the sides, so we either wait longer than we should to let it grow in, or are needing a haircut too soon afterward. He got a really nice tapered fade with enough length to keep the curls up top; I would definitely request this barber in the future!

    I just moved to Jacksonville and was recommended House of Shaves by a friend. It was an amazing experience! Finding a good barber is stressful but HoS delivered. The whole staff are friendly and the space is very clean. Jesse cut my hair and did an incredible job! Appointments are easy to make and the price is competitive for what they provide.     Miss Queen is an absolutely a delight!Her skill level is among the best I have experienced in 70 years.I deal with a persistent what some cowlick. She knew exactly how to handle it.     Hollywood is an excellent barber. My son went from locs to a high top fade. My son loves his haircut and he has a boost in confidence. He can’t stop checking himself out in the mirror. The shop itself is very nice. The other barbers were uplifting and so were the other customers during and after his haircut. The experience was definitely a 10 out of 10

    Was my first time here after some negative experiences with other barbers. The person giving me my cut, My, was super welcoming, open, and she made sure I wasnt bored at all my entire time there. I finally got a haircut that immediately looked really good without having to wait for it to grow out, which is good because I have prom within a week. She even gave me really good tips on how to texture my hair and act against thinning.Overall amazing experience, the people here make you feel at home and definitely know what theyre doing!

They really take the time to make sure your hair or beard is exactly how you want it.     Price is right and Zach did a really good hair cut. My barber is in NY and I would fly back to get a haircut every time I needed one because I had a bad experience getting a haircut in Jacksonville. Zach was able to give me a hair cut comparable to my old barber who has been cutting my hair for 15 years. I got a scissors cut and it came out great.

    Christie has been great at the Riverside location. I just had a beard trim and haircut that looks amazing. She listens to what I’m looking for and does a great job interpreting it.     I have always seen Stephanie at this shop. She is great! She does an awesome job on my high, drop fade. I was letting it grow out on top.     Definitely a good place to get a haircut. Quite a competent team of hairstylists. I appreciate the detail and level of attention that they take in their craft. Another advantage is they also offer some stylists who can provide services in less time with very similar results if speed is required. I never hesitate to tip 25% because whoever it is you work with, (Im partial to Michelle because she really is great at trying to make sure you look your best, shes been slowly changing my cut as Im losing weight), their primary focus the whole time is you. If you go to any chain locations you will be charged similar prices, with none of the attention to detail, and your stylist will be chatting it up with someone on the phone, the other stylists working that day, or just plain trying to pay attention to the TV.     Got a haircut and beard trim with Michelle, and I have to say the experience was great! The shop is very nice, with the feeling of a true barber shop. They specialize in mens haircuts, so its not like going to a big box store that does it all. Their niche is mens haircuts and styles as well as beard trims and shaves. Michelle took her time, no rush to get me out the door. The beard trim was exceptional, exactly what I have been looking for, she cleaned me up nicely. I would definitely recommend, as it looks like I have found my new forever barber. Its not really close to my house, so I do have to drive a little bit to get there, but its most definitely worth the trip.

    New barber is great, he has cut my hair twice now in the last month. Takes his time to make sure you come out looking fresher that laundry. My wife tells me it probably the beat haircut I have received and we been married almost 10 years!

    This is by far the best place in town for a haircut and shave. Great atmosphere and clean. Bree is awesome!! She is always pleasant and very attentive. I always leave with a perfect cut. Don’t waste your time anywhere else . Ask for Bree.

    Ethan provided me with the exact haircut and beard trim I asked of him, he was very attentive to detail and was very knowledgeable at his craft. I don’t write reviews very often, but this shop is very clean and well maintained, and the staff is great. I recommend Ethan, and would even pay more if I had too for his services. For sure my new go to barber

    This barbershop is very professional and has an outstanding staff. My boyfriend has had nothing but great cuts here. His last barber, Jessica, did an awesome cut. They definitely have our business.

    HoS does things differently and I love it. Appointments are a breeze, made online where you have the option to reschedule appointments too.Alex is friendly and shared interest in conversation.I like his personal touch, he takes his time and is precise in his movements. This was the first thing I noticed when switching from a different barber.The cut was good.

    Ive been getting my haircuts here since it opened, and getting my haircuts from Alex, the owner, even before that. Alex and his staff are very friendly, the wait is minimal (especially if you book an appointment online in advanced), there are complimentary beverages, and its the best haircut Ive gotten in my life, every time. There are many different services and products available here. Theres a reason why Im loyal to House of Shaves Barbershop.

    I found House of Shaves on google after realizing my go to barber shop was closed on Sunday and Monday. I needed to get a haircut and beard trim today because i work out of town and have a wedding to go to this coming Saturday. Michelle was awesome. She cut my hair the way i wanted and double checked to make sure how short i wanted it (I’m at least two months overdue). I’ll be returning Saturday morning to get my beard cleaned up again and I’ll definitely be returning for my next hair cut.

    Alex is the man!! I am very, very particular about my hair and he has always delivered. His shop has all services you need. I have been going to Alex every since I came to jax about 2 years ago and I will never go anywhere else. He listens to my needs and always gives me the freshest cut at a price you cant beat. Super professional and he always works with me when I forget to schedule an appointment. 10/10 Barber and barbershop. You wont regret it.
