    Absolutely amazing! I’ve been to this salon a few times since moving to Jacksonville, and they are always SO friendly and welcoming! I’m pretty rough with my nails, and my sets always last me to my next fill. They’re very fairly priced, and my nails always come out perfect! 100% recommend!

    I came a few weeks ago for a pedicure and had to come back to get my full done for my nails. Best customer service I’ve ever experienced in the 15+ years I have been getting my nails done. The salon is bright, clean, and the staff are friendly and go above and beyond to make sure you have an enjoyable and amazing experience. This my new go-to salon.

    I had a wonderful experience here! This is the only nail salon I have been to where they actually trimmed my cuticles off. My nails looked so clean and professionally done. I got unicorn white chrome nails. The young gentleman that did my toenails did a great job as well. I have zero complaints which is rare. It is a long drive for me and I only stopped by bc I was in the area but I would gladly make the drive to get this great service again!

    My daughter and I are visiting FL and wanted to get our feet beach ready. When we got off the plane we just picked a nail salon with good reviews on yelp, and the reviews are right! The nail techs were so nice and professional. They did a fantastic job on our pedicures. The environment is very relaxing. If we lived here this would be our regular spot for sure!

    This was my first time coming to this nail salon, I did not have an appointment but Mike took me straight away. He did a great job with the overlay on my nails and also my pedicure. I am definitely coming back

    I will never cheat on this salon ever again. I have very tiny nails and they absolutely rocked it. They came out even and so pretty. They also have a mermaid collect on gel polish and I had to take advantage of it. Lol I love this place and my nail techs.Update!!!! I just got my fill done and the end results is sexy and cute. Jenny never disappoints every time I go to her. Pro tip for anyone else, the longer the nail the price will go up. Also if you want a nude base you must specify that, it’s not hard. If you work in medical you shouldn’t have your nails done cause it causes risk for infection on your patient. The wait time is like 5 minutes and not 4 hours. Also communication is key, don’t just sit there like a bump on a log and not say anything about the shape and color to your nail, they are sweet people, if you just kindly speak up they won’t hesitate to fix it. I have been to MANY nail salons and I am glad I go here because they are now considered my family. And tip well. If you can’t afford to get your nails done, then don’t blame your nail tech. Love and care goes into customer service, make sure you’re a good customer to receive good service. I will continue to come here no matter what. Jenny and her husband and their mom are the best!!!!!

    No better Nail Salon in 20 miles !!I have been all over north Jax for nail salons and seriously this is the best out there. Prices are worth the service you get, amazing treatment. I always get the top notch services. Every time I leave even 2 weeks after I’m constantly getting compliments on my nails.There’s no better place to go!!! The owners are amazing!!!

    Ive been going here for over a year now and theyre absolutely amazing. Jenny is incredible with direction, instruction, precision and quality while doing my nails. Im equally as happy with my pedicures. My nails last so long with them that Ive been able to do them just monthly vice every two weeks. Which means even though they naturally grow out they never fall off! Im a tough nail critic with a NY frame of reference for nail service...when I tell you theyre the best on the North side, you better belive my accuracy!!

    I absolutely LOVE this salon! Its relaxing and tranquil atmosphere helps you really just enjoy every moment of pampering. I recommend the top shelf pedicure which finishes with a warm leg wrap and paraffin foot dip…to die for! I followed Jenny and her husband from a previous nail salon; they are just that amazing at what they do! Plus this is a small family run salon and I like supporting Jax businesses.     Had an absolute wonderful experience with this nail salon wont go anywhere else. That was until some crazy chick and her young daughter decided to walk in and scream she wanted her money back for services already rendered after she left. And she was arguing and threatening the owner of the store. You need to inspect your nails and make sure that they are up to your standards so that these people can fix the problems before you leave not after. Highly, highly recommend this nail salon

    This is my absolute go to location. Everyone is always friendly and welcoming. I love that they have their prices laid out detailing the difference between adults and children. My 8 year old loves going and they are always so patient and caring with her. She is very fidgety lol. I definitely would recommend them to anyone!

    BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! The young lady that did my nails took her time & I love my nails. By the time I was done & paid, it was raining super hard outside. Immediately the lady doing my moms pedicure was so cool and down to earth, she not only did a great job, but kept us entertained through conversation. It was like talking to family, we definitely plan on going back.

    I am pleased than yesterday I found this place on my Google search. I called and made my appointment and today I went. The experience was nice, seams being a family business which make me feel very comfortable.I adore the massaging chairs and I was able repeat and change the settings according to what I wanted. The pedicure was intense and deep, she did an awesome job, not like some other places of the area where they concentrate the service in the massage, the stones, and the massage, and you finish paying for massage and the Polish, not for a real good pedicure. Here they do massage your feet and legs, but they make sure that also at the end your feet feel clean and with no pressure in your nails. The manicure was clean and impeccable, we were in a little hurry because I had to pick my kid up, but the gentleman providing the service made sure that my hands and polish look sharp. Conclusion, I am going to return, I hope the next time the experience can be repeated.

    If I could give this salon 100 stars, I would. I came in because I got my nails done at another salon but they were really chunky and uneven. Jenny saved the day! She did my nails so well that they just look like my nails. Ive never had my nails done better at any other salon. I cant wait for my next set.

    Great pedicure, good people, love the massage chairs. They need to keep their windows/doors clean daily and wipe the counter daily where you sit to dry your feet. Also, I like to relax when I pedicure and they were playing a gory thriller. Even when I mentioned I’d rather not watch this one, they didn’t change the channel. But I would probably come back. Just to see if they read their reviews! It’s all good.

    I was very disappointed with this place, I was expecting more, but I will give it one more try. Ive only been once, an older man was my nail tech, the pedicure was relaxing and the polish looks great. My gel manicure however is why Im bummed. As he painted my nails I could see he was not correcting his mistakes, the paint pooled on the sides of my nails. He did not use alcohol to end the gel manicure which I once read is what helps maintain it. Its only been a few days and the nail polish that was on my skin has chipped off, taking off some of the polish that was on my nails with it. Ive never had a manicure where the paint was allowed to pool so I figured maybe he knew something I didnt and that everything would be okay. Not only the color but the clear coat is still on my skin or off in chunks. Everyone was very polite and spoke fluent English, which is wonderful. Ive noticed at many salons there is a language barrier which results in problems with services given. I will try one more time but I will wait for another person to assist me. Also, after work they were very busy and had to turn many customers away due to being short staffed. I would suggest calling ahead before making the drive if you want to head over on a weekend or after 4pm.Edit- I have gone back here a few times now. They are always very busy which is a negative. The positive is that all the women who work there are very good and this is now the only place I like to get my manicure.

    Professional staff and does exceptional work. I came in last minute and they was able to take my sister, my daughter, and I in quickly. We had all pedicures and manicures done. They took their time on us even though people kept coming in. We are extremely happy with their work and will be back!

    Awesome service and Staff!Update: The outcome of my nails was always nice. However it just took way too long.The upcharge are crazy. Why am I paying $7 for a second color. All 10 fingers have to be done, thats a bit much.Had to move on to a new Salon.

    My husband and I moved up here to the Pecan Park area from Southside/Baymeadows and I had to find a new nail place that I could go to on a regular basis. The place I had gone before the move was absolutely wonderful and the technicians knew what I did and didnt like so I was sad to have to find a place that could do the same. I tried 3 different salons and none met my expectations. I had seen American Star Nails on the Google search and saw many great reviews so I finally decided to try them out. Let me tell you, that was the best decision ever!! Everyone there welcomed me like I had been going there for a long time. I finally felt comfortable like I was at my go to salon. I havent been anywhere else since that first visit. I make my appointments with Lina because I loved her kind spirit from day one. She totally understands how to take care of my feet very well and she listens when I say I have to have my nails super short due to the work I do. I love that I can call on Lina and get on her schedule easily most of the time. Do yourself a favor and schedule an appointment with her! She will not disappoint!! You will have to make an appointment to avoid a wait because these ladies and guys are phenomenal and stay pretty busy. Lina is my nail girl for life!!

    I love this place. Moved here year ago tried a few different ones and finally found a good one here. Love the staff Jade and Lina are the best.     I had the best Mani Pedi service here so far that I have found on the Northside. The nail tech was very polite and not extremely rough on my feet or hands. Super relaxing! I enjoyed every bit with no complaints. You get a selection of different scent rubs if you order a deluxe pedicure, which is nice if you want to change up the selection. They also offer a punch card for multiple visits. I will definitely be making this my always go to nail spot!

    Ive been getting my feet and nails done for 3+ years. They just recently changed Management and Im happy to say that I was very pleased. They offered free drinks, had free WIFI, and tried their best to get you in and out fast. They had a promotion going on for 20% off so I recieved a Classic Pedicure (check their website for details) for only $20. Im happy to say that Ill be coming back for several more years to come.

    I came in last minute for a mani with gel polish on a Friday evening. Everyone working made sure to greet me, and they were prompt with bringing the gel colors to me. My nails looked amazing.I also had to bring my son with me, and they made sure he was taken care of by watching Netflix and offered a water to him.     This salon was a lifesaver. I am from out of town and needed to fix a broken nail. The staff was very patient with me over the phone and promptly looked for the color I needed.
