    While Im not the type of person to ALWAYS get my nails done, Ive soley been a devotee of NY Nails for over a decade. Every member of the family has always been kind to me and once we got to know each other, then I actually felt like a part of their family.I typically like what I get done and if I dont, I speak up and get is corrected. Im not leaving derogatory reviews because I didnt express my opinion on someones work.My preference is to get dip because it actually stays there for weeks on my hands and about a month on my feet.I dont recommend regular polish because it chips like some other people have complained about. I also dont think Id go for anything overtly decorative per se as this is very much a working persons salon in price and artistry.Having been around here for a minute, I see how the owners react when a nail falls off or if something needs to be redone. If theres an open seat, theyll put you there, fix it, then send you on your way with gratitude.I also see how so many people barely or simply dont tip. This is a service industry, like a hair dresser, restaurant or spa; this business survives on tips. Imagine what your hair dresser would say if you stiffed them after your cut? You might need to find another hair dresser.Finally, wondering how much to give? Please tip at least 20%. Its the kind thing to do. Not happy? Just tell them. Theyll fix it. Ive witnessed all of the above, and maybe had a chip from time to time until I started to use dip so thats gone, and I dont think Ive ever seen a negative or explosive reaction to anyone. All in all, I love going here, even if Im not being talked up because theyre speaking to another Client or family member. I always know they care. ♡

    I am obsessed with how amazing this nail salon is. It’s been 3 weeks since the grow out of my overlay and they still look amazing!!! They really took their time doing my nails and I’m so impressed. They have a life long customer for sure❤️

    Great nail place! Waited quite a bit and had gone for a fill and pedicure. They didnt realize that and didnt leave time for my pedicure so I was a bit disappointed. But theyre great at what they do. The place needs some work but overall the price and owners/nail techs are honest and sincere with what they do. Really reasonably priced compared to other places in Jacksonville.

    Friendly environment and staff. The man that sit at the station to the right when you walk in the door he done my nails. Gel color name is Ferrari Red.

    I am surprised at the reviews for this place. The decor is pretty dated but the work and price are spot on. We just moved from the other side of town and were very happy with the salon. Will be going back!
