My daughter wanted her nails done for her birthday. She searched google for images of what she wanted. The image she found was a set of nails with very exquisite nail art, something that would require a very talented nail artist! We searched and with the help of several very positive reviews found Star nails and hair. We drove from St Augustine to Jacksonville to give them a try. They did NOT disappoint!! WOW! Mary looked at the photo we provided and explained exactly what she could and could not do in the most professional manner that I have ever personally dealt with at a nail salon. She did an absolutely fabulous job and my daughter is extremely happy with her nails!! If you want beautiful hand drawn nail designs, Mary is the lady to see!! Thank you Mary for a wonderful experience and your awesome talent!! We will be back!!!

This was my first time going here and it was a great experience. A real chill environment and relaxing. Ms.Kim did my nails and it was an amazing job. The place was clean and neat and they have a nice sugar scrub. Will definitely be going back.

Broke a nail and this place was recommended. Very spacious and bright. My appointment was in the evening. No waiting upon my arrival. There were 2 workers on-site. I wanted ombre, dipped nails. I suppose one lady didnt know how to do what I requested. She went and got the other lady and she informed me that she wasnt good at it and didnt want to charge me for something they couldnt do. This was fine with me and very appreciated. Up front discussion settled everything. The first lady did a wonderful job on the getting my nails prepped for the other lady to step in and do the ombre. I loved how it turned out.

Paige is absolutely amazing! She is so incredibly polite, personable, and not to mention, talented. She does not make you feel rushed either. I highly recommend coming here. I have tried so many places in the area and they do not even come close to the service they provide here.

Mary and this establishment impressed me in so many ways today. She helped me out of the car when I showed up with a crying baby, invited me to openly feed baby by the front lounge and when doing my eyebrows, she was extremely accommodating with the baby and even pushed to have me hold her and let me feed her during the session to keep the baby happy and content when LO wasnt content with the first feeding session.Also, even though this is a nail salon, the smell is significantly less than what you get at most salons, which makes me feel alot more comfortable bringing the baby in. This is a very open space layout and I was able to move around with the stroller easily without fear of running into anything.This place also does a significantly large amount of things in one building, which makes things convenient. I will be back.I left feeling better, got what I paid for, and know I was treated as a human and a mom with no judgment.

My new favorite nail salon! I got married in October and went to see Mary to get acrylics. I showed her a picture for inspiration, and she nailed it exactly! (No pun intended 😂) She didnt over drill my natural nail, which I was having a difficult time finding a nail tech who didnt file my natural nail too thin. The thickness of the acrylics was also perfect! They felt seamless on top of my natural nail! Star Nails can do all of the classic acrylic applications such as: pink and white, nude, and gel polish, but they can also do so much more! They have colored acrylic powder so you can have endless color combinations and designs! My current set is going on three weeks, and I still have no lifting despite the fact that my profession requires me to have my hands in water constantly! I definitely plan on revisiting for Valentines Day! ♥️💕♥️

This place was nice. My friend and I called for appointments at the same time and got them within a half hour. Mary gave me a pedicure, a full set of nails with gel polish and waxed my brows. Kim gave my friend her pedicure and full set of nails with gel polish and designs. We will be going back. Prices were very reasonable.

Having to come from Nassau County this place is totally worth the drive! Its a One Stop Shop for nails, pedicures, eyelashes, eyebrows, Brazilian wax, microblading, haircuts ( men & women) hair coloring powder coating, and many more, all in a spa-like setting. Mary is multi-talented and does it all, she will make you feel like a million dollars when you leave. Kim and Leon are awesome nail techs an exceptional pedicurist. I love the fact that they have sugar scrub next to the sink it really softens your hands and smells wonderful. I forgot to mention its an extremely clean environment and friendly staff.

Very nice people and great customer service. Theres a beautician named Cheryl that does my hair. And I am VERY picky about my hair. Shes very professional, youll be seen on time give or take just a few minutes (almost unheard of with a lot of black beauticians), and her prices are very reasonable. You can get your hair, nails, toes, brows and lashes in one place. You cant beat that!

I followed my nail tech Kim here from Riverside and im so glad I did. She takes such good care of my hands and feet and I only have to come in once a month. I bring in the craziest pictures of nail art and she does an amazing job every single time!!! Id follow her to St. Augustine just to keep her doing my nails. The shop is also very relaxing and full of friendly staff. They even gave a salon and offer massages. Talk about full service 5 star treatment.
