    I came here as the Deerwood location was no longer there.That being said, its the same studio / salon if you have been to any of thier other locations, you can expect the same great service!As a man you may feel odd or uncomfortable with the idea of having someone else assist you with grooming but I have been coming to the Wax Strip for several years and I can say I have always felt welcomed & at ease. Man or woman, I would say you cant go wrong going to either of the 2 locations.This location is waaay out of my way with Deerwood no longer being an option, but I was ok with taking the trip as I knew I would be in good hands.

    Brittany was AMAZING! I was nervous getting my first ever wax, but she was so informative and kept me laughing the whole time! The price was perfect, for a Brazilian and a lower leg wax I paid ~$70 or so, which was way less than alot of other places quoted me.For my first ever experience, it was exactly what I expected discomfort-wise but ive already completely forgotten how it felt and i feel smooth and great 10 mins after we finished. Once we got the ball rolling I was able to just vibe and hardly paid attention to the feeling.I was so brave today. this was a great experience all things considered! Id absolutely recommend and I will be back !!!

    Brittany is amazing! She is always so kind and friendly. But today my experience was even more special because I had to bring my 3 year old daughter with me while I got my eyebrows done. She allowed her to sit on the bed with me and even play pretend doing her eyebrows after mine! She had her lay down and acted like she was doing her brows and my daughter loved it. Brittany truly knows the meaning of customer service and should be recognized. Thank you for making my daughter feel included, and making me feel I wasn’t a burden bringing her to my appointment!!

    Best wax place in jax!! The people are so kind and comforting, it’s a great CLEAN atmosphere. I’ve been going to them for years, even after moving cities for school. Brittany and Jessica are especially great for brows, they always do exactly what I ask for. I like to keep my brows thick and am super particular about the shape and I have had my fair share of terrible waxes before going to this place. Highly recommend getting the package as it is way more affordable in the long run.

    Amazing! i didn’t have to wait for long at all and the woman doing my wax was super personable and funny, talked me through the entire thing and made me feel extremely comfortable. on top of that, i got a little goody bag including (but not limited to) aftercare instructions and a free coupon for eyebrow waxing! an overall great experience for my first time, will be back again :)

    It was my first time ever getting waxed and I decided to get my full legs and a Brazilian done for my wedding next weekend! Go big or go home, right? I went right when it opened and there wasn’t a wait time. Everyone was nice and welcoming, and the woman who did my wax did a great job and made me feel comfortable the whole time. Brittany is a professional I hardly flinched the removal of hair was flawless and no pain ! Brittany really took the time to listen to my concerns .. as well as share her wealth of knowledge of many organic products to use that will not break the bank .     Went for the first time after relocating to the area, I was nervous having to leave my old esthetician and try somewhere new. ASHLEY, was amazing! She was very warm & welcoming, took her time explaining everything to me, and had great recommendations for aftercare.     I’ve been a Wax Strip customer for well over 5 years, I’ve been to their beach location, Gate, and now regular the San Jose location. Sometimes there’s a wait, other times there’s not, that’s just part of the experience so either plan to run errands in between, or go off-peak days/times. Service is always excellent, everyone is very friendly, and their prices can’t be beat especially with a package!

    Have been to many places now trying them out. This is by far the best one. You can go back in 7 days for free touch up.. and 12 days for half price. People are always friendly, with the Covid they have kept there appointments in line and place is super clean.

    I went a few weeks ago to get my eyebrows done. The girls there are very professional and know what they are doing. They are keeping up with Covid protocols and precautions. You do have to wear a mask while getting your service. But other than that I love coming to the Wax Strip. I’m in and out in less than 20 minutes.     Let me start with I wish I could give more stars I drive almost 40 mins to come here Jessica is absolutely amazing at no matter what service you receive she will make you feel very comfortable in a very uncomfortable and intimate situation because let’s be honest getting your Lady parts waxed is a bit uncomfortable the location is easy to find very clean and the staff are kind and polite I have tried a couple places and nothing comes close to the service and treatment you receive at the wax strip check them out you won’t be disappointed and ask for Jess because she is the absolute best

    Awesome services and great deals. The Sandy Beaches package is a steal. You can get lower legs, underarms, eyebrows, & a Brazilian wax for $85. Appointments are available and walk ins are welcome. They offer complimentary 7 days touch ups on Brazilian waxes. The wax specialists are very friendly. Definitely recommend their services.

    I wouldnt know what to compare to others since Ive never been to a wax place before. When I first walked in I was greeted and then asked a million and one questions to the rep. The receptionist at the time was open to answering each question with ease. The wait time for me walking in was roughly 10 minutes tops. (Even tho you can schedule an appointment and ask for a specific worker)I went in for a Brazilian. First time getting this done and Im very insecure about my body, I had Jessica(?) Doing my wax. She was very calming and patient with me. She didnt make me feel nervous at all. I recommend her 100000%.Planning on coming back and then try their Tropical Twister(?) Which is their full body wax.

    The girls are all very friendly, the place is very clean, everything is sanitized, and they wax the correct way they do not double dip their wax sticks. STOP getting waxed at your nail salon its disgusting they contaminate their wax and reuse the same stick on each client. THE WAX STRIP IS THE WAY TO GO!
