    I went for my first services with Tatem this past Saturday and it was fantastic! For my waxes, I had my brows, underarms, and Brazilian done and it was such a wonderful experience. Everything felt very smooth, and she ensured I had any allergies taken into account for the pre and post wax oils. I’ve already booked my next session and intend to stay with Tatem for as long as we are in Jacksonville – if I could give 100 stars I would!

    First thing I loved was the cleanliness and warm welcome. To top it off, during the service I felt comfortable, and like I was handled with so much care-keeping my skins integrity as the #1 concern.     I’ve been getting waxed by Tatem for almost 3 years now and I have NEVER had anything but an amazing experience. She is so personable, kind and very detail-oriented. It feels like home when you walk into their new studio - which is right off of southside and SUPER convenient for me to get to! Tatem makes sure you leave happy and doesn’t miss an opportunity to provide privacy and dignity during your wax! I recommend all of my own clients to go see her.

    Quality wax used by the most amazing esthetician I’ve met in Florida! What an amazing experience! Tatem really is so great at what she does, not only do I leave every time feeling like a new woman but it feels like I just left a friends place.     There so much I can say about this amazing individual! Next month will officially make 4 years that I’ve been going to Tatem. My very first appointment was for my wedding, and when I tell you I was soooo nervous. I had no idea of what to expect, but Tatem truly eased my worries and nerves. She’s incredibly down to earth, comforting, and beyond caring. She takes the time to not only give amazing service, but she gets to know you and even takes a moment to educate you on your service, skin, and any questions/concerns you have. Not only that, she’s professional and cleanly! There’s never a dull moment with Tatem, she’s unmatched in my book. And for as long as I’m here, I will forever be getting my waxes with her. If there was a word greater than “highly” I’d insert that here lol, but I highly HIGHLY recommend Tatem! She’s the absolute best, and I can guarantee you - she won’t disappoint!❤️

Service is always exceptional, professional, and the place is super clean.Just so everyone knows, ‘Waxed Jax’ is inside of ‘My Salon Suite’ It’s on South Side in the same plaza as Target, Academy Sports, and Aldi. It’s the plaza facing Southside across from Avenues Mall.     I’m a long time lover of sugar waxing but today Tatem completely changed my mind! I decided to switch it up and wasn’t sure what to expect, but I LOVED my experience. Tatem is great at what she does, made me feel super comfortable, and is a great story teller to pass the time. (Plus it was far less painful than sugaring.) I can’t wait to go back!

    I have been to at least three other waxing places in the city, and after one visit, I already know this is the best. I feel like I got a really great deal for everything I got done, and Lexus was so cool! She talked to me like she’s been seeing me for years (and that means a lot because I’ve taken some time off from going to wax studios). She was so warm and welcoming and very detail-oriented. I also love how she listened to my requests 🥹 I added on some services, and she fit them in my appointment! PLUS, she gave me an exfoliation glove and a care card when I left!     I been going to Tatem for all my waxing needs the past few years - from her previous workplace to now her studio. They are amazing - super clean, nice and sociable, etc. The ladies here know exactly what theyre doing and pay very close attention to details. I never had a bad skin reaction compared to other places. They go out of their way to make sure youre comfortable as possible. Tatem is probably the best waxer in Jax in my opinion.
